I had it when I lived in Colorado and when I lived in Switzerland, but never here in Virginia, alas. Nothing like it! In Northern VA we have a 30% chance of snow on Christmas as it stands right now! Here’s hoping 🤞🏻! Yes! Richmond here and they mentioned a potential snow storm on Christmas and I fell out my chair! It is not common to have a white Christmas here but we have; our last was an actual snow fall on Christmas Day back in 2009? It was absolutely gorgeous.

For the first time in the 18 years I’ve lived here, it’s looking like we won’t in ND.
Seems fitting for the crap year of 2020.

We have a 40% chance of snow Christmas night, so it doesn’t look like we will have snow Christmas Day but probably will the day after.
It’s not often we get snow ON Christmas. It’s hit or miss every year if we have snow on the ground on Christmas. It seems like we always have snow for Thanksgiving though. 🤷♀️

Two days ago we might have some snow today. Today, we have a full blown blizzard going. No visibility on I-80 (which is totally shut down in western Nebraska). Supposed to be in the 40's on Christmas Day. Forecast for next week is 15-16" of snow Tue-Wed. We don't usually get snow like that in Eastern Nebraska. 2020 might really go out with a bang here in the Midwest.

Last week's snow has almost all melted. Expecting rain tomorrow, Christmas Eve day and more rain on Christmas.
Snow was a week too early. ☹️

We are 15 minutes into Christmas Eve and it’s snowing here in the north of Scotland. It would be nice if it continued and then disappeared on Sunday. We’ve not had decent, snowed-in type snow for about 15 years and rarely have a white Christmas.

We're in the middle of a blizzard right now. I can't even see across the street. It's a complete whiteout. 50-60 mph gusts. Almost all roads in southwestern MN are closed.

It will be a wet Christmas Eve, then Christmas temperatures are supposed to slide down and it will ice. Bleah.

I mean there is leftover snow from last week's snow
Some years we have it. Some years we don't

I'm just far enough away from you that we're going to get rain all day Christmas Eve and then frigid temps for Christmas Day.

I get it. I love a good blizzard! I was safely teaching from home and DH only had to go 4 blocks. We now have a fire going, and I’m about to delve into my book. It’s actually very cozy!

My corner of the state is looking at 1"-4" of snow between tomorrow and Friday. My county is divided on the map with a sliver getting lake effect snow (up to 8"), most getting 2-4", and the other sliver getting 1-2". This is after light dustings here and there and largely no snow this season.

Ugh...had not heard about this storm before reading this...I haven't seen totals for central Iowa yet, but daily amounts from weather.com weren't looking so good. We weren't expecting to have a white Christmas here after several warm days melted the 6" we got a couple of weeks ago. Then we got a little bit today that won't melt before Friday...might blow away, but it won't melt. Thankfully we're not going anywhere this year--if 2020 was a normal year we might have been planning to travel tonight.

I’m in the central CA foothills. It’s snowed (dusted) here a few times in the last 20 years but never on Christmas, usually March/April. We might get rain.

We had a full on blizzard yesterday with 9" of snow. I am all cleared out, so I can enjoy it this afternoon. The sun is shining, so it's very pretty.

We don’t usually, but we got a white Christmas this year. About 4-5 inches fell overnight. It’s beautiful. I’m sure that all the young children in our area are excited about it. Merry Christmas everyone!

We are getting a wicked rain storm right now....but it’s 60*! If this was last week this would have all been snow.

IT’S SNOWING!!! Okay, it’s a light snow, and not sticking, but it *is* snowing. I just walked the dogs 1.75 miles in it. With the windchill it feels like 19 degrees, so my face is numb. But now I’m sitting on the couch thawing and watching it snow.

I put sometimes but it’s pretty rare. Maybe twice in my 40 years of living here.

We definitely have one this year! About 4 inches so far with snow still falling.
We often get snow around Christmas, but a true white Christmas with accumulation and continuing snowfall is somewhat unusual.

Our blizzard did some strange things with the snow. The front walk had several inches to shovel, but the driveway was almost completely clear, and there was almost nothing on the cars. Worked out well!

We weren't forecast to have one but it lightly snowed all day today and we have a nice little dusting. (Ohio)

SE Michigan had a white Christmas. It was wonderful - not so much that we were stuck indoors but enough to cover the ground and needing some shoveling.

I went with sometimes, but realistically, it's so rare that I could've almost gone with never. But it's never been outside the realm of possibility. I know last night there was *that* smell in the air, though nothing came of it. It did snow on Monday, but it didn't last beyond the day. That tends to be how it is for us.
