Have we ever discussed this?
DH only wears zipper fly jeans. I've only worn zipper fly jeans. Until now, DS has only worn zipper fly jeans. I bought him a pair of jeans from his favorite brand for Christmas not realizing they only sold button fly jeans. He likes them so far.
So, what do the people in your family wear? Do they care?

I never wore button fly...DH was a die hard Levi's button fly until his belly grew... now it's old man jeans/zippers. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I haven't owned a pair of button fly jeans since the 90s. The brands / styles I like all seem to have zips. And I do prefer zips rather than having to fumble with buttons if I'm in a rush to pee - my pelvic floor isn't what it used to be in the 90s pre-children! I don't think that either of my kids have ever worn button fly jeans.

I love a midrise jean with a button fly. It’s always a much more flattering and comfortable fit when it has the button fly. I don’t know why. 🤷♀️

Back when the dinosaurs roamed the neighborhood I used to wear bell bottoms. If I could could get hold of them, the navy white pants had button instead of zippers. I loved them.

I haven't worn button fly jeans since high school when Guess jeans were the fad. I had the button fly style with the fold over waist that were acid washed!

I have 1 pair of button fly but they are dressier and I haven't left the house in ages so I haven't worn them yet. I might buy some more casual ones but they will have to be loose enough that I can pee without unbuttoning all the way.
I am too old and my bladder has fallen too far.

loved button fly back in the day but zippers now (and the occasional yoga waist). I do have a pair of button fly dress trousers that I love.

I don’t think I've ever had a pair with a button fly.
These days, everything is elasticated 😂

Right now, only sweatpants and leggings, but in normal times . . . I had one pair of button-fly jeans once, and no.

I don't recall ever having button-fly jeans, but I did have a variation on that. The kind of Navy-inspired bib front white pants that button up on either side like THIS. I've never bought button-fly jeans for anyone else either.

I also haven't worn button fly since high school, 90's and having 501's. Not for any reason other than I've never seen them.

I only had zippers for a long time, but bought two pairs of high-rise button fly in the last couple years and I really like them! I think the buttons add a little something interesting to the outfit ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) .

I would love to get some button fly 501’s that would fit me. I ADORE buttonly jeans! But the buttons can’t be exposed. Must be 501’s. I lived in them in HS. I should try to find some now. I weigh the same as I did in HS so, they might fit? Lol

Most of my jeans have zippers but I do have one pair I particularly like that are high-waisted with about 6 buttons. Love them! Come to think of it, both of my daughters definitely have button fly jeans as well, so you can easily find them in style right now.

Who the hell is wearing pants with a zipper OR a button fly these days? If it wasn’t 20° outside I would only be wearing pull on pants with an elastic waist!

I haven't worn button fly, since High School. Levi's 501.
I rarely wear jeans, but when I do, it's zip up skinny leg Levi's.
I'm a Levi's only, kind of girl. They fit me best. I use to like Zcavaricci and Jordache, but haven't worn them since my 20's.

A midrise button fly is the ticket. I haven't had a button fly since the 80s.
I am sure Dh has never worn a button fly, it would just feel wrong to him.
Ds will likely never wear button fly. At days from 20 years old, we still regularly have to remind him to zip his fly. His friends also have to remind him, as do strangers. He has a sign in his bathroom, that I change the colour of so He doesn't stop seeing it, that reminds him to zip. He can barely (I'm not exaggerating) tie his shoes. No clue what the issues are that cause this.
