Gorgeous pages grammadee! nylene - big big hugs. I hope the pain is gone soon. Don't worry about us, we are holding down the fort lol. Lucky you sleeping through this embarrassment of week. kellyr21 a new camera? How exciting! And yes, your Rams are in as a wild card. I'll be rooting for them! Linda home renovations are no fun. I hope it all gets done quickly for you. Hugs for your kitty. I hope it's not the last trip We have a good size Covid outbreak in our main location. About half of the people are gone right now. Which means more work for those of us that aren't out sick. It's such a mess. And I've started working over time again already. I don't think we will be getting winter slow down I look forward to this year. Things probably won't get back to normal until the pandemic is truly under control and we get enough people vaccinated. So I've got 4 pages in progress and I hope to finish this weekend. But I have housework, laundry and errands today. And then Rudy wants to sleep over. So I probably won't get to anything until tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the hangout. I think instead of dreaming I'm going to craft in the evening, I will try carving out time in the morning when I'm fresher. All I know is I miss it, and have got to find some regular time for scrapping!

nylene! I'm so sorry, what awful timing with the wedding. Such a special day, you deserved to enjoy it 100%, not sharing it with tooth pain. there is *no* escaping from face/tooth pain, it's front and centre Gentle hugs to you, and please get better quickly. kellyr21 - I'm glad your arm is improving. My injury is now 5 (!) months old and every week I have to remind myself "but it doesn't hurt EVERY time I reach now" and "I didn't take any ibuprofen today!" to see that it is improving and will eventually fade into the background. Just keep it moving (keep the range of motion) because if it tightens up as it heals that's when your therapist gets mean Linda - you sound expensive Hopefully progress remains forward! Poor kitty 18 is pretty good, but it's harder when they've been with you so long. My dog went lame last Saturday - as in, would NOT stand up, just collapsing through her back end like her legs were paralyzed. She wouldn't sit, just lay on the floor motionless. She's only 10, and I really thought it was the end of her. And she is absolutely adored and one of the family, I don't know what we'd have done. We've always been pragmatic about pets - I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars to try to fix some neurological/spinal problem when there are so many animals who need help. (not that we have thousands of dollars, hah!) I scheduled a vet visit, and we used a "sling" under her belly to pull her up and take her outside for business affairs - I felt more confident when I saw that she could still pee etc. because it meant that it wasn't some terrible spine compression. Sunday, I decided to give her half an aspirin. See, she is a drama queen dog. Once, she broke a front nail, and she literally SCREAMED if you looked at her (it was actually rather funny). Well, the aspirin kicked in and 30 minutes later she carefully got to her feet! By Monday, I cancelled the vet visit, and she seems absolutely 100% now. Obviously she has a bad back, and I know what that feels like... so I won't judge too harshly... but man, can this dog ACT UP A STORM. I'm enjoying a quiet day off - 2 out at work, 2 still in bed, I photographed my MIL's calendar to share and got that uploaded. Guess I'd better do some real chores now!

I just tried joining you all in December, but got derailed by the death of my DBFs mom. It’s been quite the month since then. He is still pretty devastated, and it’s been rough to keep him going. But he’s doing better, and we’re moving forward! But my brother then surprised us by having 2 strokes on Christmas Eve. He’s better, and seems to have zero lingering effects. Whew! I’m ready for a new start!
I’m finally getting a chance to look at my goodies from Christmas from my family. I got some Nuevo markers, enamel dots, watercolors, embroidery kit, plus some extra kits and things I ordered for myself, lol.
I also just got invited to a small crop at the end of the month, so I hope that works out, because I had to cancel the last one when my MIL passed.
I need to catch up on all you’ve posted!

kelly8875, it's nice to see you back. I am sorry about your DBF's mother. The loss of a parent is hard, no matter what age you are. Hugs to you and him. It will be fun to see what you do with all your new Christmas goodies. How nice that people know what you love! grammadee, I love all your pages. I haven't even gone to the sharing thread yet, but hope I will feel up to it tomorrow afternoon. I'm anxious to see what everyone has been doing. Your description of watching your DGS on Zoom made me chuckle. Isn't it nice to be so loved, even if it's a big inconvenient sometimes? kitbop and kellyr21, you two need to take good care of those shoulders. DH has had surgery on both rotator cuffs and he was not pleasant to live with. (and he's a great, easy-going guy!) We need those arms healthy to carry around all your albums and scrapping stuff! joyfulnana, I am going to try to get on the Meet thing tomorrow. It will be near the end because of our constantly changing church schedule. I may just visit for a few minutes because I can't even find my scraproom desk! How fun to have Rudy over again. I hope you find something fun to do together. I'm sorry your job has gone crazy with extra work. Our Covid cases here are some of the worst in the nation for our population. Our rate is over 30% positive of tests. Hang in there. I'm glad we will get to visit. Linda, your home looks so nice. I love the wood in the kitchen. I love wood, all kinds of wood. That kitchen would make me happy. It sounds like you have a lot of work that still needs to be done so I'm glad you don't have a deadline looming to get in. Doing it a bit at a time sounds so much more doable. I love your craft room. So nice and airy! Lucky you. I hope you can do exactly what you want in it. I am so sorry about your kitty and kitbop's doggie. I hope things turn out well for both of them. msliz and gramma I hope to see you online tomorrow. I have really missed sparing with you two! I love you guys! My mouth is some better, but I still go into orbit if I touch my tongue to the tooth. That just doesn't sound right to me. I am going to call the dentist on Mon and see if that's normal. I'm still just eating soft things and soup, but have to be careful not to let the top teeth touch the tooth. I got just a few photos at the wedding, but I will get a disk with all the photos taken. Here are a couple of amateur ones I managed to get. Ashley & TimAshley & Tim at Temple

Beautiful photos, nylene. So glad you have access to all the photos taken. I predict a lot of gorgeous wedding pages. I hope the dentist can do something about that tooth. Doesn't seem to me that it is right that it is still so painful. (((((HUGS))))) to you and your dbf, kelly8875. That was alot to process over the holiday. Glad it is getting a little easier and that you are feeling the urge to create again. Glad your arm is feeling a bit better, kellyr21 and that you had time to play with your new camera. I have owned a new dslr since last January, and although it is capable of taking videos and posting to the internet, I am not capable of figuring it all out. Most of my photos are taken on the Auto setting! So sad that your old kitty is suffering, Linda. It is really hard to see them in pain, but sometimes even harder to let go. Sounds like the renovations are frustrating, but I will bet you are happy you are not living in the midst of them. Funny story about your dog, kitbop. Years ago, we had a kitten flattened out like a pancake under an old barn door that fell off its hinges. I was sure it was going to die from its injuries, but wanted to keep it comfortable. I gave it a baby aspirin and settled it into a box with some towels. In the morning, it was running around like nothing had happened to it! Aspirin must be magic! Too bad about the increased work load again, joyfulnana. I was really hoping you would get some down time at least for a month or two. Hope you and Rudy are having a great sleepover. Four pages in progress sounds pretty good, though. Hope you get to finish them during the virtual crop tomorrow. I have been lucky enough to do a little scrapping every day. I am freshest first thing in the morning, but I don't always get to craft then, depending on what dh's plans are for the day. Just finished a bundle of cards, but am back to pages again, now. I printed some pic's this evening, and diecut some pieces, for a couple of pages to put together tomorrow. Hoping to get some photos printed next week, which will take one step out of the process. woodysbetty, I saw that you signed up for a team this month, and was hoping you would drop in here to chat and tell us how you are and what you have been up to. How are you doing in your new home? Okay, enough rambling. Off to find some papers for tomorrow's pages...

grammadee - Thank you grammadee. Unfortunately we've been unable to find a vet with weekend hours - Oreo seems to be slowly slipping away but hopefully isn't too uncomfortable. He's a sweet old kitty. Glad you've been able to scrap everyday. nylene - yes, do call the doctor, that doesn't sound right at all. ((((Hugs))) and prayers. What a beautiful couple Ashley and Tim are! Best wishes to them. Thank you for the compliments on the house - I'm super excited about moving in and getting settled but it probably will be February before we can. kelly8875 - I'm so sorry. ((((Hugs))) and prayers. I hope things start looking up for you and your BF soon. kitbop - hopefully not too expensive - waiting on estimates. I hope your pup is ok. joyfulnana - wow - super busy. I hope the outbreak dies down and work gets less crazy. Enjoy your Rudy time. I've finished up the Christmas postcards for the nursing home for next year - total of 62 - used up a bunch of scraps and leftover stickers/diecuts. Took a good long look at what was left when I was done and tossed some and bagged some up for donation. My Christmas drawer shuts again.

kitbop have you tried a chiropractic adjustment for your dog? My friend had a great dane and she would get bad and not move at all , after an adjustment she would get up and pretty soon start running like a puppy. Bad hips. Liquid silica can help to maintain the bones and joints too. nylene I'm sorry to hearth you are suffering from a bad tooth. And specially after a rootcanal you shouldn't have that much pain. I hope they can fix it soon.

Hi Scrappy friends! Happy Sunday.
I went to do the grocery shopping in the morning yesterday and while I was there, my vision went all blurry to the point that I couldn't see to pick out bread off the shelf. I think it was probably an ocular migraine, I'm not sure. When my vision went back to normal, I drove home and laid down for a while and was fine then. I've had neurological issues before, but I'm hoping this was just a weird migraine. I've been under a ton of stress, so I probably had it coming.
Kitbop - Your dog sounds like one of ours...my dog, Levi, is a bit of a drama queeen. He's done the thing where he wouldn't stand up and cried a bunch when he had a tangle in his hair...lol. I hope yours continues to be okay.
Nylene - I hope your tooth gets to feeling better. I had an old filling removed and replaced the last time I went and I don't know what was different, but my mouth hurt so bad for an entire week. It's fine now, but I'd never had a filling hurt afterwards like that. I hope they get it feeling better for you.
Ashley looked so beautiful at her wedding! I can't wait to see more photos after you get them. Time has flown by, I swear she was just a little girl.
Linda - Your kitchen is so pretty! I love all of the rich wood. Try to pace yourself on the moving, that is always so exhausting.
Gramma Dee - Love your LO's! You did a beautiful job on them. I got several done, just need to post them.
Kelly - It is amazing that your brother recovered from the strokes so well. He is really fortunate! I got some paints and a couple of scrappy things for Christms that I want to play with. I'm going to a crop with my dd, Olivia, and a couple of friends at the end of the month. One of them owns a retreat house that we've been using throughout the pandemic since she can't host any big groups, which has been so helpful in keeping me sane through all of this work and isolation. It's been such a blessing to be able to go there to get away every so often.
Joyful - Try to take care of yourself and find some down time to relax. It sounds like you are having to work a lot too. Hopefully you will be able to get vaccinated soon. I go on Tuesday to get mine done. We are considered a health care agency, so I'm trying to set a good example and get it done, even though I'm not usually big on flu shots or things like that.
I hope you all have a great day!

kelly8875 - I'm so sorry for your BFs loss! I know there is no "good" time of year for grief, but adding christmas is just so hard in terms of stress, chores, being told by tradition that we are supposed to find "joy" even if we're grieving, and of course, additional memories. I'm glad your brother recovered well. I hope they are addressing his future risk!?! msliz and gramma I hope to see you online tomorrow. I have really missed sparing with you two! I love you guys! My mouth is some better, but I still go into orbit if I touch my tongue to the tooth. Well, your mouth might just keep you quiet then Your pictures are lovely! You will probably have a better time scrapbooking your own photos than the professional ones just because they feel personal. That's a gorgeous couple. I am freshest first thing in the morning What is "first thing in the morning" might I ask? Getting up at 6:30 (my normal time) is rough for me. PAINFUL almost. Even if I go to sleep before 10! My internal clock tells me to get up at 8:50. My Mom was in local musical theatre when I was growing up, so I know a lot of WW1 and WW2 songs. To this day, when I get out of bed, inside my head I'm singing "Oh how I hate to get up in the morning" (Irving Berlin). Please tell me I'm not the only one who knows songs like this? I've finished up the Christmas postcards for the nursing home for next year Wow, you go girl! I have a stack of stuff to make into cards for this purpose, as I really enjoyed sending cards to that nursing home this year but only sent 15. I'm not starting yet because I have to get some December Daily work done first, and I'm already getting tired of Christmas theme. have you tried a chiropractic adjustment for your dog No, and I think that would be really good for her. We've got a shit-ton of vets in this area because the School of Veterinary Medicine is only 30 minutes away from here (and there are only 5 in Canada...) It would be easy to find one. I think it was probably an ocular migraine, UGH! The brain effects of migraines are scary. Did you have to drive home? I have a friend who gets abdominal migraines, and my Mom gets them where she looses her ability to talk. Looks like she's having a stroke but she's not. She gets auras first thank goodness, so she knows it's coming! joyfulnana - How are YOU staying away from the Covid? When will you get a vaccine? We're in lockdown here. When I look at the news it feels like the US has just given up, waiting for the vaccine to kick in. I read the Pioneer Woman blog, and she was talking yesterday about moving her son to Texas to start Spring Training with the football team, going out to eat etc. That stuff is not happening here

azcrafty , so nice to see you hopping on. I started the Jan Sheetload the first of Jan and then came the wedding and the root canal. I actually finished them today during the Hang Out. I just had to add bling. Did you like this design? It has not been my favorite, but it might be the papers I picked. I'll post them on the Cards forum when I get them photographed. shinyhappytina , are you worried about the same problems you have had in the past or was that totally fixed with your brain surgery? You make me worried. I hope it was just an ocular migraine. It's amazing what neurological issues can accompany migraines. Take care of yourself. Glad you are getting the vaccine. kitbop , you probably noticed that having my mouth hurt didn't shut me up today. It was just so good to see you all and to enjoy you. Made me want to cry to feel like you were all near! I need to set up my ipad so it can be plugged in while I chat and scrap so I don't run out of battery. joyfulnana, we missed you on the Hang out today. Hope you had fun with Rudy. janesays , it's so nice to see you popping up. I hope things are well with you. I think I saw that you signed up for a team this month. It will be nice to have you around and scrapping. Linda , you are so organized. I'm sure your home will be fun to fix up and decorate. Congrats on all the Christmas donations you got finished. I should start now! grammadee , I'd like to know, too, what "early" is for you. I have made myself be up and starting my day by 9:00. Isn't that awful. My body feels so much better when I let it have those last couple of hours of sleep. kitbop , we must be related. I also sing Irving Berlin's "Hate to get up in the morning!" I also think "I hate the hills!" Dad would wake us very early every weekend to go up into the hills where we would fish, camp, etc. I would get so carsick that I quickly learned to "hate the hills." I am hoping to have some scrapping time this week. I am very much behind here, so need to get moving.

Happy New Year, janesays. Glad you popped in. shinyhappytina, I hope that migraine is an isolated incident. I have had a few scary ones, but most give me an aura in warning, and if I can take an ibuprophin and find a dark place for about 20 minutes, the headache isn't so terrible. (((((Hugs)))) Linda on the loss of Oreo. Even knowing he had a good long life, it is sad to say goodbye. Glad he went peacefully. For the inquiring minds that like to know, in a perfect world I would wake up sometime between 6:00 and 7:00, have a relaxing cup of coffee--or two--while I read my book or scroll through here or Pinterest or play one of my word games. If I could start crafting by 8:00 and be uninterrupted, my best time would be between 8:00 and 10:30AM. The least creative part of my day is mid to late afternoon--I tell people I feel a physical "teacher's crash" about 3:30PM--and after 9:00 at night.

Happy Monday! I am wishing everyone a wonderful week. We had a quiet weekend. I am still rocking happy clothes on Mondays. So today I am wearing a sparkling grey hoodie sweater with sequins. I bought several sweaters last month from Kohls and yesterday I finally wore it and decided to wear it again today. It has been hard for me to wear certain tops now due to my arm. So to get a pull over top on is a joy. Dress Up With Me Monday by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr linda- HUGS to ya! joyfulnana- My RAM won!!! I was so shocked they were in the playoff and then beat Seattle. So I guess I will pay more attention now. LOL! grammadee- I got a Canon 70D and the best part is the auto focus. That is one of the features my other camera doesn't have. So I will be taking more time this week to see how this new baby works. nylene- What a beautiful couple they are and look at your baby, all grown up!!! Hope you are feeling better today! I have never done a sheet load card challenge. I must give it a try this year. Yours look great! kitbop- Hope are enjoying your time off. Yes, I am moving my arm and praying it continues to have more range. Glad you are improving, too. janesays- GREAT to see ya! Happy New Year!!! shinyhappytina- Oh boy what an experience! I hope you are feeling better today. Take it easy if you can! Good seeing ya around here more, too. woodysbetty- Are you back with us? I missed ya and was recently thinking about you. Hope you are getting better, too.

Thank you all -Oreo's passing wasn't unexpected as he was so old but we'll miss him and his loud MRRRRow! DH was home today so after lunch, he and I ran some errands and finished up the door painting at the new house. Left D14 with a list of assignments to finish up - did the actual teaching before lunch but she had some reading to do. Just finished up our Halloween party 2020 layout. I still have more papers from the pack I'm trying to use up so pulled some photos from 2015 for the next layout - D20 was camping with friends and horses and they did costume parade on horseback. Cute sweater kellyr21 - glad you can wear it more easily now. nylene - love the butterflies on your cards

Happy Wednesday! Hope you all are doing well today. My day is starting off slow but have lots to do. I watched Heidi Swapp class/video yesterday. I was excited to try this envelop/pocket album. It looked so easy but when I tried, boy was it a struggle. So today I am determined to try it again until I get it. It is a lot of measuring, scoring and folding. Wish me luck! LOL! Here is my first lo of the year. Scraplifted the idea from @audreykits on Flickr. City Christmas Tree LO by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr

kellyr21 - love that layout - the colours, the layering - beautiful. Good luck with the class - it sounds neat but above my skill level. knutschen - glad you are getting some time off! Plumber has done most of the work at the house - has a couple of things to finish up -there were two faucets that were to be rebuilt but ended up needing to be replaced, I'm not sure what else. But the new hot water heater is in upstairs (there are two - one up and one down) - the old one was original to the house (1980). We got the quote back from the electrician - a bit more than we hoped but a big chunk of it is reversing the circuit breaker panel so it's in the hall instead of inside the closet (bringing it up to code). Need to get that scheduled - will probably be about two weeks out. Once that's done we can move in. We still need the a/c people out but that can be done during/after the move. Packing continues - DH swings by the liquor store on his way home and fills the car with boxes - I'm always amazed at how many fit inside a Mini Cooper. (Fingers crossed the Flex is fixed before we move though - we're going to need it and its trailer). I have one more batch of cards to make to use up the last of my paper pack. Guess what area I'm leaving for almost last on packing? Although I have packed some stuff - most of the stuff we'll move as is from my craft corner.

Good Thursday morning, Pokeys. Hope you are all safe and warm. I know I don't need to worry about kellyr21 and Linda, and probably gramma, in that regard, but we have had a blizzard blow through here with a half a foot of snow yesterday and winds today, so warmth is a big thing on my mind... Our neighbour ploughed our lane yesterday evening, and dh is planning to take his yard tractor out with the blade this morning to clear the snow from closer to the garage. I could feel guilty that I will be spending the day in my craftroom. But then I remember all the stuff I have done while he was ensconced in his recliner over the years, and nope! I'm good. Glad I had scheduled my trip into town for Tuesday which was a beautiful winter day. I had some errands to run and needed to get my vehicle serviced. But the highlight was getting my December photos printed and then meeting up with justjac at the LSS! We had a lovely visit while masked, looking at the new stuff she has in the store. Got to exchange bd gifts as well. Really hoping that at SOME point we can get together for cake! Plan to do my January calendar page. My ddil posted a pic of their 7 year old with FROST on his LASHES! Printed it on Tuesday, and it HAS to represent January! After that I have lots of choices--maybe too many--of what other pages I will start. Still have all my Christmas scrappy supplies out, so I want to use those as much as possible before they need to be stuffed back into their corner. Speaking of stuffing Christmas away, today is Ukrainian New Years Day, and a week from today my cleaning lady is scheduled to come in, so between now and then I need to take down the tree and all the other festive trimmings and at least get them down to the basement. No guarantees that they will actually be stored away properly once they are down there, but that is another step...

Stay safe and warm everyone especially grammadee. I'm not thrilled with 39 and ice on our front ramp but compared to a blizzard, I'm good.

It's been cold and foggy here the last few days. But nothing like you have.
I've been waiting for an order to come from Shutterfly that I placed almost 2 weeks ago. A package arrived yesterday with 4 pictures - 4 out of 80! And the quality is bad, really bad!! I'm bummed because I have layouts ready to go. I may just print some from home for this weekend's hangouts.
I'm back at work to get W2's processed and mailed. Employees start asking for them the first week of January every year. Then I am working on the PPP Loan forgiveness application. Both of those require me to be in the office. So there I am for now. Working at home is nice but harder for me to stay focused. My scrap room is just across the hall from my office - -
I hope you are all well.

Good Morning! Man it doesn't take long to feel really behind on this thread lol. Linda I'm so sorry about Oreo. It's so hard to lose a pet. I love hearing about the new house! My car probably needs brakes this year. I'll find out when I take it to be inspected. Not looking forward to car repairs kitbop - I moved 700 miles away 5 years ago and have been working remotely since. Thank goodness! Cause I would have been freaking out with an office full of spreaders lol. I feel like the US has given up. But we've had no plan of attack on a federal level either. Their grand plan was to follow Sweden's model and hope for herd immunity. OMG your animal stories crack me up! shinyhappytina I hope you are feeling alright! kellyr21!! I about died when I saw the Rams beat Seattle!!! Whoo hoo!!! The Chiefs game should be interesting since Kareem Hunt plays for the Browns and well, he didn't leave on a good note here. Love that hoody! I'm looking forward to see all your faces this weekend. grammadee I will be popping in to at least chat for a bit sometime Sunday. I'm really looking forward to that dedicated time to scrap again. Apparently I can't scrap without it now lol. The cat tree is a fail She is a long bodied cat, and a fat long bodied cat. The little hidey hole is way too small for her, as are the perching shelves. But the worst of it, is the first level is too tall for her to jump to. I tried putting her up on it all to see how she liked it, but I could see she wasn't comfortable at all. I'm not going to force it, maybe she will get interested at some point. She's old and I didn't take that into consideration either. So it will stay, for that day when I get a younger cat lol. Snow here again today so I'm having groceries delivered instead of getting out. It's only a couple inches, but it's COLD! And I don't have any other reason to get out lol The most exciting thing this week is I'm on the list for the vaccine! I have no idea when I will actually get it, but the city put up a link for people who are interested to sign up. So many are turning it down, I hope that's going to move me up faster. Especially with the more contagious strains popping up. Work is so hit and miss right now. I think it's going to stay busier than usual until we are past this pandemic. But, that's job security so I shouldn't be whining lol. gramma the hit or miss quality of photos from Shutterfly is what made me stop using them. Although alll of my photos since 2000 are stored there. I ended up doing one hour at Walgreens when I wanted to scrap something specific. Now I print at home. I hope the rest come quickly and are good quality!! nylene I hope you are feeling better! Hope to see you this weekend
