Latest Dear Lizzy Instagram story. Her kids (not wearing masks) rushing people in Walmart parking lot to give them cookies. WEAR A FUCKING MASK. No “act of kindness” is worth it if you’re ignoring social distancing and not wearing masks. I just watched the video in her stories. Fuck her. I'm so angry. These poor people walking out the store wearing masks and getting mobbed by the maskless Kartchner kids literally running right up to them. It's a hostage situation in this pandemic. Imagine if Collin had died from Covid-19. How would she feel if people let their kids run up to her or her loved ones out of nowhere without any social distancing measures to do an alleged act of kindness? She'd be pissed and screaming on IG stories about it. She'd film herself crying in anger in her car and dropping curse words about it. She's incapable of putting herself in the shoes of others. She's incapable of comprehending the gravity of a pandemic that the world has desperately been trying to control for A WHOLE YEAR now. She has no excuses. And clearly, no empathy. Everything is about how it makes her feel and not about anyone else. I'm really pissed off. People are dying. People are struggling to recover. People are on ventilators, still. People have life-affecting conditions. People are afraid of dying of clot issues after making it through the critical infection phase.

She clearly only wears one when she has too. There have been several videos of her in stores with her mask down.

Michelle Duggar said that a lot. And now I know why when you look back at all the crap the girls went through. None of you have sat through the Warren Jeffs tapes (and that's a good thing, trust me). Chilling. Just chilling. He has a speech affectation that is common in FLDS as well that accentuates the S sounds like a serpent about to attack its prey. Yuck. Here's one excerpt on the Keep Sweet doctrine (it's Warren speaking although Rulon, his father, is pictured): Yes, I forgot about that. I used to watch Escaping Polygamy and wow...

Last week Lizzie was randomly slipping twenty dollar bills into some of the cookie boxes. This is my "would you eat that" post. I don’t want to eat a cookie that has been touched by filthy money. Furthermore, "no thanks" to food of any kind from complete strangers in a parking lot (maskless at that), especially during Covid.

If she really wanted that money to be put to good use, she should donate it to a women's shelter or organization that helps LDS women deal with anxiety and depression.

All that, ya'll said above and you know what else is bugging me?
BH comments on every.single.post of her undying love for EK. It's too much. Way too much.
I mean, we get it already. You love and adore her. Do we need to remind her every single time she posts something?
Geesh....

I don't follow BH anymore but I am about to not follow this other crafter too. Comes off soooooo butt kissing. It's not cute.

I'll play devil's advocate - how do we know it wasn't Covid related? I know it was already discussed, but they've been pretty much fuck any rules and restrictions since before his death. Do we think that would change if that was the case? Would she risk her Mormon Royalty Status to tell people the truth since, for the most part, Utah has been a big anti-mask / anti-covid / anti-reasoning state? It doesn't matter, in the long run, unless you believe your deeds on Earth are going to grant you access to some place lovely after you die... oh, wait.

Ugh I had to turn off the Warren Jeffs video, that voice and the ssss got on my last nerves.

I don't want a stranger's children running up to me in normal times, let alone unmasked kids in a pandemic. And with FOOD? Nope. Get away from me, and fast. I'm not taking part in any of that.

I bet there were some people that rejected the kids and the cookies, and she just did not show that. I would not want any stranger kids coming up to me either.

I would have a full on panic attack if anyone came running up to me anywhere and believe me it wouldn't be pretty. If I saw them coming I could brace myself but if they snuck up on me, in complete honesty, I would have lost it.
And no way would I eat cookies (or any food) from a stranger even without the pandemic!

I'm only skimming this thread here and there, but I'm getting the impression that she's living her life by the idea of 'any attention is good attention' kind of like 'there is no such thing as bad publicity' and that she's intentionally coming up with these ridiculous and stupid ideas to remain the center of attention and that this thread is giving her exactly what she wants.

But factor in that Collin's whole shtick was to "cancel" social media, and it's through the roof hypocritical.

No one is going to mention the video she shared after the cookies? About the guy teaching his (what looked like) two year old to drive a car because they saw Colin say he did that for his own kids? I thought at first the kid was just sitting on his lap parked, but nope. You can see out the window the car was moving.
Look. I know thousands of parents have done this. But just don’t be stupid enough to share a video of it on social media.

My children sat in the front seat and would turn the steering wheel or play with the radio knobs, but never was the car actually running!

I wonder if she deleted it quickly. It was a shared video from someone else. It was Saturday I think and my memory is fuzzy. Either the guy was saying or she typed on screen basically that the guy had heard Colin say he had done this when his kids were little so now that he’s gone they can at least say he taught them to drive. The car was moving, you could see through the driver’s window. The passenger was videoing. The kid reached for the gear shift at one point and the driver and passenger both said NO! and he went back to driving. One of them said, “Awww, he’s wanting to shift gears!”
I almost came here and posted about it but then got distracted. Now I wish I would have!

Did not see the driving video either. She might've deleted it eventually or my brain was so shocked by the maskless child mob attack that I did not wait for the next story to load before I ran back in here to vent...

My kids learned on a golf cart long before their feet could touch the pedals. Even that was a little over the top for me.

It was shocking, they were driving an RV of all things, with the poster’s entire family inside as they moved back to Utah. I am constantly reminded that we all have different approaches to risk. I wonder if anyone has done studies on risky behavior and certainty of an afterlife/belief you are God’s favored people? If families are truly forever, do some religious practitioners approach risk differently?
I’m going off on a tangent, but I’ve noticed this locally with LDS families and have been perplexed and curious (trying not to judge, I’m very cautious- probably too cautious of a parent).
