I am glad he is, but am curious as to why that wasn’t done when the DOD denied previous request for NG. There are different National Guards. Each state has their own. The DC Mayor called in limited National Guard support and that was there this morning. They weren’t enough to handle the crowds that Trump whipped into a frenzy this morning. Okay, I thought the Mayor’s initial request was denied and then the VA NG wasn’t called in. Having seen the amount requested and made available for the BLM protests, I am still disgusted. |

Feel free to contact your state governors- especially you in the East Coast - and ask that your National Guard be deployed too. This isn’t going to dissipate any time soon.

I just saw an injured woman (blood all over her face) being taken out on stretcher.. this is just just horrible. if you continue to support trump I can't talk to you anymore. At the risk of sounding like a cold hearted bitch I will wait to see if I feel horrible for this woman. If she was one that stormed the Capitol hellbent on causing disruption to the process then I am going to have a hard time finding sympathy for her. You play with fire don't be surprised when you get burned. I'm with you. But what saddens me is she is pregnant (saw clearer photos on Twitter). She had on maternity jeans so she can't be a capitol employee. why the fuck would she go down there to risk her baby? |

Makes me ill. Nothing is sacred with this pig moron! After I heard his rambling, long, annoying speech today, I wasn't too worried. Seemed like a small crowd...... I was wrong.
Mystifies me that disabled people who protested (peacefully) in 2017 were all ziptied, but these morons might just walk away??? That doesn't sit right with me. They EACH need to be arrested and taken away, or they will keep coming back.
I'm also wondering what Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley were doing while this was unfolding. They pose a danger--they could have been communicating with the mob outside (and inside). They needed to be taken somewhere away from the rest of the Senate and Congress. It's THEIR fault as well as idiot-Trump's.
This is frightening and so disturbing.

I’m in shock. I just watched footage from earlier of rioters literally chasing a police officer up some stairs inside the Capitol while he seemingly only verbalized orders to stop. I can’t make sense of what these people are able to get away with when peaceful protesters on public streets over the summer were met with teargas and batons. I’m just stunned by what I’m seeing.

I can’t believe that there was no plan that was in place to prevent the protesters from gaining access to the Capitol building. This will drag out the certification process, because the Congress have to shelter in place and Pence has been removed. Fucking Trump needs to be thrown in prison for instigating this. He is criminally insane. And a traitor.
