I can’t believe that there was no plan that was in place to prevent the protesters from gaining access to the Capitol building.
This will drag out the certification process, because the Congress have to shelter in place and Pence has been removed.
Fucking Trump needs to be thrown in prison for instigating this. He is criminally insane. And a traitor.
I cannot believe that this is happening in our country.

It looks like the process has been stopped- clearly his plan all along . It’s his version of grabbing the Presidency by the p***y I suppose ( hate that word 😫). A coup attempt .
If anyone gets hurt it’s on him, although I’m shocked at how many people have turned up . When you think how the BLM demos were treated I'm shocked the military has t been brought in.

Thanks for saying this. I’m texting my dad and crying. There is rumor that my youngest sister is there... I am so sad...just very sad 😞 I hope that she is safe. I had Drs.’ appointments at Walter Reed this morning & afternoon. My husband called me at 2 pm as I was finally leaving to check to see if I was okay. He was worried given all that was going on and talked with me on the phone the whole way home. We bought champagne yesterday to celebrate the final certification of votes tonight. Now, I don’t want to celebrate anything. I am crying and feel sick. I hate Trump and McConnell and Cruz and Graham and the rest of the lot of GOP traitors who hate our Constitution and America. |

We cannot even look away. We have the live NBC News stream playing and are just horrified. It is 9PM in France and this is what we're spending the evening on. Between Ossoff's vote count and this fuckery, I just don't know how I'd switch over to a Netflix show or movie at this stage.

Honestly it's the whole party that is still backing Trump that is helping with this. Otherwise there would've been more security and those protesters would NEVER have made it into the building. And I agree that if they were BLM protesters, this wouldn't have happened. In Canada awhile back we had a crazy gun man storm our Federal government. Unfortuntaly one of the guards got shot and killed. However there was a hero who got the guy. Parliament shooting in CanadaIf we got word of a protest the likes of this, you bet we'd have a line of defense waiting. |
