Capitol rioter named after Andrew Jackson makes his ‘patriotic’ stand

Meet Andrew Jackson Morgan Jr. of Maxwell, Texas. The FBI charged him April 8 with the usual charges of unlawful entry, obstruction of an official proceeding and violent entry or disorderly conduct in connection with the riot. But there's also one for "aiding and abetting" that would suggest an active role in "encouraging" others in the crowd.

Morgan's alleged language during the riot and from his interview with the FBI make for some of the better reading among the hundreds of arrest reports.

Morgan is identified by the FBI as "the content creator of a YouTube video channel called "Political Trance Tribune." That where "he presents as a law enforcement 'auditor,'" the FBI complaint states.

The report says agents acted on a video linked to the FBI tip line. The report alleges that Morgan, "while filming other protesters, can be heard encouraging them to make entry" into the Capitol.

Here's some of the running commentary reported by the FBI:

"I want my bullet and goin in my house. I want that door right there! I want my bullet! Give me my bullet! Give me my tear gas!"

That's followed, the report says, with words "to the effect of" these:

"Send helmets forward…what's happening is that people are pushing in…getting their bullet…crack on the head…rotating…fresh people--fresh people--are we in?"

Capitol rioter could face jail time for ignoring court order mandating she wear a mask

A woman who allegedly stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 is facing possible jail time as a judge is asking her to explain a possible violation of an order to wear a mask while she awaits trial.

U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth in a ruling Friday demanded an answer from Rachel Powell over her mesh mask, which he said “mocks” a requirement from the court’s chief judge, Beryl Howell, that was issued after Powell was released in February that “Defendant must wear a mask whenever she leaves her residence.”

“The court does not take the defendant’s willingness to flout the court’s order lightly,” Lamberth wrote.

Lamberth’s rebuke comes after a video surfaced showing Powell wearing what appeared to be a white mesh mask that does not follow federal guidance on proper face coverings.

According to a February piece in The New Yorker, Powell has been a vocal opponent of mask-wearing.

Lamberth in his ruling also panned Powell’s defense attorney after Powell told a Pretrial Services officer that she threw her mask away per her lawyer’s advice.

"I have to review the matter with my client and file a response with the Court. However, I can state with absolute certainty that the characterization of any legal advice I may have provided to my client is not accurate," the attorney, Michael Engle, responded to Politico.

(CNN)The Justice Department said Friday that a Nazi sympathizer who stormed the US Capitol on January 6 poses a threat to Jewish residents in his native New Jersey and therefore shouldn't be released from jail. (He's the one who has the hitler mustache.)

The alleged Capitol rioter, Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, was a well-known Nazi sympathizer at the Navy base where he worked in New Jersey. A federal judge ordered him detained last month while he awaits trial, but he has filed new motions with the court seeking his release.

Opposing those requests, federal prosecutors told the judge that Hale-Cusanelli poses a danger to the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Lakewood, which is near the Navy base where he worked before his arrest.

"Defendant poses a more localized threat to the community, particularly the Hassidic community in Lakewood, New Jersey," federal prosecutors wrote in a court filing. "Defendant has demonstrated specific animosity towards the Jewish population and expressed a desire to commit violence against Jewish people."

They are supposed to be ‘keeping’ their oath to protect the constitution.

So how exactly is attacking the US capital to overturn a valid US election going to protect the US constitution.

The Middletons, from Forestburg TX, are accused of having made a couples' activity out of assaulting officers on the front line of the Capitol insurrection. Here's some of the description from the FBI complaint, citing footage from police body cams:

"Officers begin struggling against rioters who are refusing repeated orders to step back from the barricade and are attempting to breach the police line. As the struggle ensues, a male individual wearing a red, white, and blue "Trump" beanie hat, red and white scarf, gray or silver jacket, blue jeans, red and white "Nike" shoes, and gray backpack with a red logo on the back—later identified as Mark Middleton— pushes against the barricades and the police line with his body. As officers repeatedly order (him) and other rioters to "get back," (he) is heard yelling "fuck you!" as he continues pushing against the barricade.

"We fought the cops to get in the Capital and got pepper sprayed and beat but by gosh the patriots got in!"

"(In response to the question "Are you safe?") "Ya we were the first group to storm the capital. Just bruised and pepper sprayed"

"Me and my husband were on the front lines pushing into the capital and got past the fencing but then we got beat by a cop and pepper sprayed so we had to retreat but you see all our fellow patriots got in"

(In response to the question "Are ya'll okay?"] "Yes but we made history and got everyone in"

(In response to the question "Why did they fight the cops?"] "To get in the Capital to send them bastards a clear message that this won't be tolerated."

Dallas (CNN)A Texas man arrested for storming the US Capitol and assaulting police officers on January 6 also serves as a Republican Party precinct chair and has been an election poll worker in north Texas.

Mark Middleton, 52, was appointed as the chair of Precinct 14 in Cooke County in December, just a month after the presidential election, according to Chris McNamara, chairman of the Cooke County Republican Party.

A precinct chair is a low-level elected position in local party politics.

However, Middleton was not elected. He was appointed by a committee of local Republicans to fill the vacant precinct officer position.

The Texas Republican Party says the duty of its precinct chairs is to "help promote and grow the local county party" and "to maximize the Republican vote in your precinct."

Unsealed affidavit reveals new details about Capitol rioter on FBI’s most wanted list

According to a report from the Detroit News, a New Yorker who was recently taken into custody by the FBI for participating in the Jan 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol was researching information about Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) and locations of gun shops just days before he headed to Washington, D.C.

Jonathan Munafo, 34 of Albany, was seen on camera punching a U.S. Capitol police officer and ripping the officer's riot shield out of his hand, which moved him to the FBI's "Most Wanted" list. New details about the case have been revealed thanks to an affidavit that was unsealed in the wake of his arrested.

According to the report, Munafo is a well-known supporter of Donald Trump, appearing in interviews with a large social media presence.

Following the riot, FBI agents were able to track him down because he showed up clearly in videos taken of the attack on the Capitol cop.

Munafo was arrested on Friday in Orlando and a subsequent investigation into his online history presented law enforcement officials with a trail of evidence that has become part of the evidence against him.

The report states, "On Jan. 5, the day before the Capitol insurrection, Munafo searched for information about the Calhoun County sheriff, " adding, "Munafo also allegedly searched for 'Freedom Plaza, Washington, DC,' the location of several pro-Trump demonstrations last fall protesting the presidential election results. Munafo also allegedly searched for several firearms and military surplus stores, and 'Gretchen Whitmer' on Jan. 4 and Jan. 5."
