The more I learn about these extreme views the scarier the situation seems to be. This makes me very nervous about what is going to happen on the 20th especially since law enforcement seems to have willfully ignored what was being planned for the 6th. I cannot believe America has came to this.

I just don't know what to say anymore. There is no convincing some people that this was a legitmate election. How can we as a country recover from this? I'm guessing things have been skewing this way before Trump but until he gave these crazy conspiracies an "offical" voice I didn't think a rational person would believe them.
Why for the love of God didn't our system of checks and balances work?

I just started reading today, so I don't know if anyone has addressed this yet, but from what I heard on MSNBC weekend radio shows so far, there IS no FBI 'domestic terrorism' policy or apparatus. 'terrorism' is something that's always been seen as coming from 'outside ourselves' and from foreigners, not from US citizens. Hopefully that will change in the very near future. But from what I heard, it's a legislative failure because Congress has never passed legislation so that domestic sources of terrorism could be tracked. |

I truly hope they see that they have created a monster that they can't control and do everything in power to correct it. I'm scared though that this is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. |

Given the climate here, I am concerned for Biden, well - for all of us. In the moment, I put in words here, how I was feeling. Not so much in a religious way and more so in a humanitarian way. It was just a quick, short means to convey how I truly felt. And hope. I totally agree with your thoughts on this too. I took/read it as you meaning you wanted Biden protected—watched over, free from farm—and there’s nothing wrong with that!! |

They are using the term “Christian” as a smoke screen, an excuse to make what they are doing seem more palatable (epic fail because we see them for who they really are). They’re nothing more than the devil appearing as a snake trying to convince Adam and Eve to eat the apple all over again. |

I remember quite a bit of controversy during Obama's administration regarding domestic terrorists. Some thought there was too much attention focused internally. And after 9/11 there was tons of legislation passed allowing for wire taps and other things in the US - I remember the Patriot Act, but there were others. The powers were broad enough internally that many including the ACLU are against it and talk about it's use to spy on "ordinary Americans" |

Because it was designed in an era when people in lofty positions had lofty morals & wanted our democracy to succeed more than they wanted power for themselves individually. This would never have gotten as far as it has without most GOP members of Congress being terrified of losing their jobs or the potential to scoop up the orange baby's base. |

They cannot be someone that share your belief system, right? There are all flavors of Christians, evidenced by the multitudes of churches. Some more extreme than others. Many twisting the words from their bible. Again, many bibles to choose from. They simply aren’t your flavor of Christian or following what you understand from the Bible you read. There are good and bad people in all groups. These Christians prefer the wrath of god over the peace of the Christ. |
