my daughter works at an outlet mall.
Since COVID I have been twice both time shopping for something my daughter needed for college auditions. IF it was for me... I wouldn't go at all.

As little as humanly possible. I live a mile from a really nice mall. I think I average about once every 3 years. I also don't like online shopping. This likely accounts for my shabby wardrobe. 😕

Pre-Covid, I would go maybe 4-6 times a year to the mall (both indoor and outdoor). I mainly go to look at clothes. I like to try on shoes and clothings before buying. I haven't been to either the indoor mall or my favorite outdoor mall since March. Just not in the mood to go browsing. I am looking forward to being able to have lunch at Nordstrom again. I like their food.

I would literally never go, but I occasionally need to go for kid things (eg, my youngest and oldest have both been really into American Girl). Right now, I am not going at all, but in the before times, probably 2-3 times a year.

I don't like malls.

my "local" mall is 45-60 min away and not in a great area. I haven't been to that one in years. Annapolis is also about 60-90 min (depending on traffic) but the parking at that mall gives me hives, so I haven't been there in AGES. Locally we have outdoor strip malls, so that's where I shop, or I shop online

I love in a rural area without malls. Tallahassee is only 30 miles away and it has malls but we all avoid Tally like the plague.

Pre-covid, once every couple of months or so. Our movie theaters are inside the mall, as well as restaurants. I have been in the mall twice in the last year, both times returning things I ordered online. Our largest mall has several restaurants, a kid's indoor trampoline park, a music venue (which is now gone), escape rooms, etc. I used to bring ds and his friends there all the time for something to do.

Once every month or so. Various reasons or stores to get something. They also have chair massages and I like to get those as well (just had one yesterday). I remember going just after the shelter in place was lifted here. It was the oddest thing. Not all the store were opened back up, not all the lights were on, not a lot of people.

I haven't walked the mall for "mall shopping" in years.
I go to the mall to specific places every few months or so.
Red Robin, when I have a gift card. I use their outside door entrance.
See's Candies, if I have a gift card or sometimes if I am picking up at Red Robin, I will stop in See's and buy four single chocolates as a treat. In that case, I exit Red Robin through their mall side entry, and go down the corridor/wing where Red Robin is situated and turn to the main mall loop and See's is a few doors over. It's just around the bend from Red Robin, and I go directly to See's and back.
Years ago, when the mall was a minute out of the way, on my way home from work, I would stop and walk the mall as a safe walking environment. I usually walked two miles, then departed.

Pre-Covid, not often. Since Covid, not inside one at all. Most of the stores that I go to that are part of a mall have exterior entrances so I will go to the individual stores independently without needing to walk through the mall. Michael’s, JoAnn ETC., Barnes & Noble all have separate entrances. The only exceptions to that would be The Disney Store or The LEGO Store at the Mall of America and I maybe only make it to those places once a year if that.

Five, almost six years ago.
To get JCPenney portraits taken.
Right in, right out, no other purchases.
I haven't actually roamed a mall, randomly stopping in stores to buy something, since the early 2000's.

Precovid--once or twice per year.
I am not a person who hangs out shopping for entertainment. I go for a specific reason, complete that task and back home. I probably spend the most time in a mall finding a pair of shoes.
Post covid--I know it will be many fewer trips.
I live within 10 minutes of one mall and perhaps 20 minutes from a well known vibrant mall.

Rarely. There are a few stores at the mall that I like to go to but they are separate from the indoor mall. I rarely go inside the main mall. I like Kohl’s but they are not at the mall but separate strip malls around town. I am not a fan of crowds even pre-Covid so rarely went.

I live in a small city. Our "mall" is basically a bunch of strip malls clustered together. To go to a mall where all of the entrances are inside means driving 30 minutes away. I think it's been years since I've been inside one. I'm not really a big shopper or browser. I don't even like tourist traps kind of shopping. We would go to a place and completely skip the gift shop every time.

I don’t go to our mall anymore. There is some sort of teenage turf war going on over there with regular fighting and shootings. There were over 500 teens involved the day after Christmas.

Well your traditional mall inside type malls not very often... maybe once a year? And it is kinda far from me anyways. There are a few outdoor malls that I go to but not that often... maybe every other month and that is on the high side. I do go to mall type stores but they are not in the mall, they are free standing. The one I go to the most is Pennys but it’s literally a mile from where I live. Very convenient. I live Liz Claiborne clothes so I usually am on the outlook for that brand. Even then if I go it’s not more than once a month.

During the pandemic I haven't even grocery shopped in person. During the course of a normal year I go once if that.

Pre-Covid, I would go with DH to Charlotte on business and almost always went to my favorite mall on each trip - so probably 5x a year in recent years. It is a very pleasant place to kill time though many of the stores are just window shopping for me. Unless I was taking my mother shopping, I never went to our local mall.

I can't remember the last time, actually.
When Archiver's was still in business, we'd go there once a month or so for crops.
Going to the mall just to go to the mall has never really been my thing. I'd go there more for a particular store or movie. To just wander, not so much except as group get together for Christmas shopping or something.

Pre-Covid, probably twice a year, maybe less.
I've only been once since COVID. We don't have a Cheesecake Factory close to us but there is one about 45 minutes away. A week or so ago dh had to go drop off something to a colleague that lives near one so we got takeout. You have to go in the mall entrance and it's right there. So I went inside the mall entrance. I did set foot into a mall, but barely lol.
I doubt I'll go into a mall again until spring/summer, maybe not until close to Christmas. I hate malls. The only stores I really enjoy visiting are bookstores, cooking stores and Target.

Growing up, I loved the mall! I went about once a week during school breaks and summer. About 1-2 times a month during the school year. Now, the mall is 40 min. away (lots of lights) so I go as little as possible. I buy clothes at Target and Kohl's, and they are both a few miles away. I go to the mall a few times a year. I don't like going to the mall. I prefer stores like Target, Kohl's, Lowes, Walmart, etc. We have so many stores like that a few miles away, so no need to go to the mall.

I don't go very often at all. I live about 10 minutes from a great shopping centre, but I really can't be bothered going shopping. When I was young and slim and had disposable income I would go every week. The last time I went was the week before Christmas to do my Christmas shopping (yes, I left it to the last minute, as always).

I probably went to our local mall (15 minutes from my house) 2x a month prior to Covid. Sephora, Gap, Old Navy, Ulta, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Dicks, LL Bean - yeah, I'd say once or twice a month.

Not sure if you’re talking about SouthPark, but when we lived in Columbia, SC, DH and I would take a day off work, drive up there, and spend the whole day. I haven’t been in probably six years, but it used to be a wonderful mall.

Our Sephora is in the mall, so I go there every couple of months. At Christmas I went to Dillards. Other than that? Never.
