I saw that this morning. It takes a lot to shock me these days but I was genuinely, sincerely shocked.
I hope his constituency turfs him finally. Meanwhile Beto is running a volunteer operation to check on elderly Texans and connect them to heat and food.

Bet the citizens of Texas vote for him again in 4 years. They wanted him more than Beto, they got him. This apparently is what the majority of voting Texans want. And what really sucks is that he impacts the whole nation in the Senate as a vocal supporter of lies and insurrection.

I hope they call for his head on a spike, but he won’t take away their guns, so they won’t.

The article is from Newsweek. Not the National Enquirer or Fox News so likely based more in fact than fiction. But it would also appear that is has been confirmed as one tweet by a journalist is quoted in the same article. Maybe all the sources that journalist relies on are lying. I doubt it. If it makes you feel better to attack me while Cruz abandons his constituents, okay. I have family and friends in Texas. I'll stick to being outraged at the elected officials who have done them a major disservice. |

The article from Newsweek does not have confirmation from Ted Cruz that he is traveling, but it does have confirmation from multiple people who were on the plane from TX to Cancun who identified Cruz and his family as being there.
So, not a rumor. Just because Ted won't confirm it doesn't mean it isn't true.
