vexedangel, your layout is beautiful. I am a lover of gingham so that really speaks to me. Your clusters are so pretty and interesting. Your borders on top and bottom are such a nice touch. Thanks for posting it here. I look forward to seeing more of your work. I am sorry about your shoulder. Is this something that rest will heal? kellyr21, LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't cut paper and chat at the same time. I've decided I have to do the cutting before getting online with the crop. I hope you can make your pieces fit anyway. It looks like such a wonderful project. I'm anxious to see it finished. Congrats to you and your DH on the Online Conference. It sounds like it was well received! Sending gentle hugs to you. knutschen, I would love to see your finished digital art. I'm so computer-challenged that I am in awe of digital scrapping. It seems like every Spring since I have known you, you have been upgrading something in your home. I love hearing about it. I'm sure it's a lot of work but what a nice space you have created for yourself. Nice to see you and know that the Covid cases are going down in your area. Stay safe! Linda, I'm glad you are getting some sewing time. I hope you can take it easier now and just unload things a few at a time. Be sure to take a photo of the dress so we can see! Have your girls help you set up to chat with us online. Or just pop in to say hello. kitbop, it takes me much longer to do a layout than 4-5 hours. I have to leave it sitting overnight and take another look (or rearranging) to finish a page. I think it is too many choices. BTW, is your shoulder totally healed? joyfulnana, I am sorry I missed you online. I really enjoy those few hours, even if I cut all my paper wrong. I miss face-to-face visiting with my friends and neighbors. I'm glad Abby is getting used to Rudy. What fun to have him sleeping over. Alex really wears me out, but I love having him around. He has too much energy too. Hope to see you this weekend. grammadee, how is the pet sitting going? It sounds like they really enjoy your hospitality! It was fun to see you for a few minutes on Sat. How is your gallbladder treating you lately? Any news on that front? Well, I need to get moving if I'm going to get anything done today. We have an afternoon appt with the accountant which usually put a big hole in the afternoon. Have a great week, everyone.

Happy Tuesday! Waving hi and hope you are having a nice day. I am feeling sluggish today and just rolling with it. Just doing my regular routines and did get out for a walk. It is beautiful today! So sunny and a little windy. Thanks nylene for the gentle hugs! I need it now a days! Sending hugs to you all and have a good evening!

Good Wednesday morning Pokeys! Hope all are well. A skiff on snow on the ground here this morning and about 10 degrees colder than yesterday. Guess winter isn't done with us yet. Left love for that fun page in the Gallery, nylene. How is your tooth? To answer your question about my gallbladder, it is behaving [most] of the time. At the first twinge, I resort to clear fluids and hot packs. No word from the surgeon so far. Hoping as more are vaccinated they will be able to ensure there are hospital beds available for non covid patients. Glad you got to get out of the house for a bit yesterday, kellyr21, even if the weather was not perfect. I would love to see your digi art, too, knutschen. I see on the sharing thread that you did some scrapping, Linda. Good for you! I haven't even commented on anything in that thread that was not in Flickr, but hope to take a closer look this evening. And glad you are starting to sew again. Hoping all the reno and moving stress ends soon and you can get back to your creative self. Today I am packing up the pets and heading back to their home. I will spend the night with them there before heading off to the airport to pick up their REAL people. They will be ecstatic! And if you have never seen an ecstatic puppy, you should make plans to do so. I will try to catch a video of when their boy lets them out of their kennels. Not sure if I know how to post it, though! TTYL.

I picked up my eligibility form from my doctor today and have scheduled my first shot for next Tuesday - Dh gets his second next Thursday. There's still more stuff to move but I feel like I'm settling into a routine here now and I've been able to do some sewing and scrapping. We've given the house a name "Azalea Cottage" - all the bushes along the front of the house are azaleas and they're blooming and so pretty. grammadee - I bet the critters will be very happy to be back in their space with their people. I know you've taken great caare of them though. Will you be able to scrap afterwards? I'm glad the gallbladder is mostly behaving kellyr21 ((((Hugs))) Take it one day at a time and be kind to yourself. nylene - that is an awesome layout - love the bike and gears!

I'm glad the gallbladder is mostly behaving Oh I will be scrapping! Need to print my—and dd’s—photos from this past couple of weeks before I get home. Also have the pics I printed last time I was in the city, and some new product I haven’t used yet, so lots to play with. Posted a pic in the photo challenge this morning that may just end up as my March calendar page.

So I'm almost finished with the test dress for DD14 - it just needs hemming (tomorrow's project). I used Sinclair Patterns Claudia in a black scuba knit. I'll make the actual (white) Confirmation dress one size bigger as while it does fit, it's a snugger fit than she prefers. I'll lengthen it a tad also.

Happy Friday peas! Linda that dress is so pretty! That's good news about the vaccine. I have no idea when I will be able to get mine but man I'm ready. grammadee are you lonely now without all the pets? lol. I'll bet they were so happy to see their people. Any word on your turn for a vaccine? kellyr21 hugs to you. You're in my thoughts often. Good for you getting out. It was really windy here a few days ago. I have a scrap day planned with my mom and niece tomorrow. We try to do this once a month. I'm not sure how long we will last. It varies between 4 and 8 hours lol. And once that's done, I'll grab dinner and my plan is to roll right into the Saturday night crop. The next two weekends will be a scrapfest here, and I can't wait. It's going to rain here all weekend and I have lots of page kits ready. I'm finding the thing that hangs me up when planning pages is well, everything lol. I can get the photos and paper together no problem, but titles, journaling, embellishments, all come on the fly. Makes it hard to pack for a IRL crop. Not like I'm doing those, but I know that time will be coming again soon. Rudy slept over last weekend and then was here for a bit on Sunday. Abby is not warming up to him, but tolerating him a little bit lol. He is so rambunctious, too much for my old cat. She will be 10 tomorrow. I have got to finish up my page for tomorrow's sketch. I've been putting it off all week, so tonight is the night lol. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful dd, Linda, and beautiful shape for that dress. She will be a vision in the white one. Glad you have a scrappy weekend planned, joyfulnana. And I hope it relaxes and refreshes you for the upcoming week. I drove home yesterday and yes, this house is pretty quiet without the furry family members, but peaceful, too. They were happy to be home. The cat was purring before I even opened her travel case: she knew she was where she belonged. Then immediately led me to the pantry and announced that it must be time for lunch! But the dogs were missing the freedom of the farm yard, I think. Not really happy with that leash thing. Or maybe just not happy with that slow gramma on the other end of it... Puppy nearly turned herself inside out when her boy arrived! Trying to get into scrapping this morning. But as usual, after a bit of a break from it, the process is taking a bit more time and thinking than usual. And I am tired after my little road trip. I normally would have just unpacked and vegged today, but dh has gone to do some farm business this morning, so I was hoping to make use of the quiet. The LO is coming together, but not quite the way I had envisioned it. Have a wonderful weekend, Pokeys!

Linda, your dress looks nice. What kind of fabric will you use on the white one. It looks like a nice fit and nice shape. I'm sure she will look lovely. You have really been scrapping this month already. I am enjoying your pages on the Sharing thread. How's the unpacking going? joyfulnana, I knew you had an older kitty, but I didn't realize how old. Happy Birthday to Abby. I hope she will begin to warm up to Rudy. I wonder if she just needs to ignore him for a while until she can predict what an active boy will do next? Your scrapping weekend sounds wonderful. I find that I accomplish more when I don't get interrupted in the middle for work, Home Depot run, or anything else. I expect to see lots of pages from you. grammadee, I'm glad you are back home in your element with all that lovely paper and glue. I'm sure the pets were glad to see their family, but they were certainly treated royally while they were gone. I am sending hugs to your family after the loss of their other grandma. I hope they are doing well. kellyr21, I'm glad you got a chance to get out and get some fresh air. I think about you everyday and hope each day gets a little better. Angie and family found a new area to take a walk/hike last week. Her photos make Calif look lovely with flowers and greenery. Enjoy it while you can. Take gentle care of yourself. I made some O-fish-ally awesome cards yesterday to take out to my new Primary class children. We can't meet together, but when we can they will be in my class. It's one way of keeping in touch. While I was doing them I made more to use for other times I need a cutesy card. It was a cut file so all I had to do was scale it down to fit in a regular envelope. O-Fish-ally Awesome

Happy Friday! Waving hi to you all! I worked on editing a new video showing my first sheetload cards. I will upload this weekend. nylene- Thanks for the virtual hugs and care. Your fish bowl cards are so adorable! I must know how you made them. linda- Thanks for the hugs! Your dress is beautiful! I did know you could sew. Very pretty and it looks good, too. joyfulnana- Thanks for the support! It means a lot. grammadee- So glad you got back home and the fur babies are back to their home. There's no place like home!

joyfulnana - thank you. I hope you get your vaccine soon also. Enjoy your scrap day. Happy Birthday to Abby! 10 isn't too old (we have 2 who are almost 11, an 11.5 and a ?maybe 16-17?) but small kids can be a lot especially for a cat that hasn't grown up around/with them. grammadee - thank you! Sorry the scrapping is slow to restart but hopefully soon. nylene - Thank you so much. I'm using the same fabric (scuba knit) just in white for the next one. Unpacking is going well - looking forward to getting the rest of the furniture moved (the heavy stuff we're hiring out) so I can really settle in and finish up. We're moving the stuff from the sheds this weekend. I love those fish-y cards - simply darling! kellyr21 - (((Hugs))) Good luck with the new video! Thank you - DD was happy with the dress. I don't sew as much as I did when the girls were young - learning to fit those grown-up curves has been a challenge but I'm getting there.

Well it looks like grammadee found her mojo. Your LO of the birds is stunning! And nylene those cards are the cutest things I've ever seen. Those kids are so lucky! Abby is really good at ignoring Rudy, he's not so good at ignoring her which is what causes the problems lol. In the last couple of weeks, I seem to understand what she's trying to tell me. Well, besides she wants to eat. She's made that clear from day one lol. She will sit and stare at the TV when she wants her videos on. She watches Cat TV every morning before I go to work LOL! She will sit and stare at her want toy when she wants to play lol. I bought a lava lamp on a whim yesterday and put it in the bedroom. She was happy to watch it and let me sleep in! I haven't slept past 6AM since I brought her home. She let me sleep till 7:30! I need to get things set up for today, I hope to see some of you tonight! Linda I hope you will have a way to join us soon! I did not get my sample page done but it just needs journaling so it will be up later today. I need to get things set up

joyfulnana - do you feed her right away in the morning? we never did and the cats have never woken us up. Isn't it amazing how well they communicate? Our new house has a screen room and our 4 are loving it - they will stand by the door and meow if it's closed and they want to go outside and sun themselves. I do need to figure out how to join in - I have a desktop (no camera/microphone so it won't work) and an iphone which I fear is too small but I think my best bet. A tablet is on my wishlist but house stuff keep bumping it down.

Little boys and pets are an interesting combination. The cat had been sequestered at our home (I did not want to risk her sneaking out of the house and into the yard where she is totally unequipped to deal with the dangers), but the first thing that happened when I turned her loose in her own house was that she and the puppy had to have a chase and a spat. Tips the puppy was super excited to see her boy on Wednesday, but it wasn't long before he was upset cuz she was nipping at his jeans. Then she was barking at him cuz he had pulled her ears. It did not occur to either of them to go to opposite parts of the house. Another slow start for me this morning. Dd texted a photo of her son asleep in the vehicle on the way home from Ninja class yesterday. (They all tested negative before their flight, so are right back into activities now that they are home). I responded, "Jet lag". Dh responded that Gramma has PETlag . Still hope to finish a page this morning before going into town for groceries. Had trouble printing at WM before I left the city. This morning I am fighting with my home printer. Maybe it's me...

Hello, ladies. <3 My shoulder is doing so much better! I did manage to snag DD's cold she had last weekend, so am still just taking it easy. I can't wait to get my vaccine and join our local gym, I have a bunch of strength training I am excited to start so I can put some of those types of injuries behind me!
Getting ready for a little weekend nap. Then a walk with the kids, some futzing with my nails and scrappy stuff, and a chat with my BFF tonight. Lovely weekend day. I hope you all are having a good one, as well.

Linda you could totally join in on your iphone! I do feed her as soon as soon I wake up, and through many google searches, I'm pretty sure that's a mistake lol. I've got some puzzle feeders that I've left out for her overnight and that seems to help. I've never had a cat before and I'm really surprised at all I've had to learn lol. hahahahaha grammadee boys and puppies! Rudy gets frustrated because his puppy chases and nips at him, but he never walks anywhere, he's always running and she thinks it's time to play lol. OMG PETlag! That's hilarious! And probably very true lol. vexedangel I your Saturday sounds pretty perfect! Especially the nap!

Your art is AMAZING, knutschen! I think my favourite is the landscape with tree, but I love them all. Good Monday morning, Pokeys! I am hoping to book my covid shot today. It has been announced for weeks that appointments for my birth year can be booked starting this morning. But wouldn't you know, the website is overwhelmed right now, so this phase is being delayed. Guess I just need to keep refreshing and hitting "BOOK" until it works.

grammadee , congrats on getting your shot scheduled. That seems to be the hardest part of the process in many places. Do you know which shot you will get? PETlag, that's a good one. knutschen , your digital art is beautiful. I am so computer-challenged that I can't even fathom how that is done. My DSIL does computer animation and I don't understand that either. I love the same one as grammadee , and the light bulb. Just amazing work. Thank you so much for sharing. We'd love to see any more that you do. vexedangel , I'm glad your shoulder is getting better. A walk with your kids sounds wonderful. I miss walking with the grands. joyfulnana , it was fun to see you on the Online Crop and get the "proper" pronunciation of your name. I have wondered, but never think to ask when we are online together. kellyr21, I look forward to your Sheetload video. My DH is having trouble with his eyes. They have given up on shots in one eye, but he still has the injections in the other. After his shot on Thurs. he has not had much vision. I have had to read his texts, find numbers so he can call. His font on his cell phone is huge, but all he can see are lines. The Dr. thinks it will clear up in a week or two, but in the meantime he's pretty discouraged. We have known the time would come that he wouldn't be able to read anything, but it just happened so fast. He has some orders for special pens, but called the friend and said it may be a while, if at all.

knutschen - those are stunning, truly gorgeous art. The COLOURS, ohmyword. grammadee - yay! nylene - "Happy" news today: the car broke down - we knew the starter motor was going this past week and didn't have time to take it in, but yesterday it wouldn't start and this morning it BARELY started so DH drove me to work then took the car straight to the mechanic. Quoted a $700 repair. Turned out to be a $270 repair, because the part was under lifetime warranty. So we are having pizza for dinner. Does that make sense to anyone else but us

Happy Monday! I am so tired today but just taking it easy. We had my mom's memorial on Saturday over Zoom. It was beautiful and well attended. She was a great woman and influenced so many people. There will be another service and a few more things to honor her coming up. I still feel in a fog about it all but just glad she is being so well remembered and missed. Whew, ok... now on to papercrafts. I did put up a new YT video featuring my first batch of "SheetLoad of Cards." I hope you all will stop by. Link HereMy First SheetLoad of Cards by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr nylene - Oh, I am praying for you and your dear dh! Hang in there!!! Sending virtual hugs to ya! knutschen - WOW! Girl, you did a fantastic job on your art. They look so good like you have been doing dig art forever. grammadee - Yippee for you!!! I am so relieved they have a vaccination for us all. kitbop - Thank God for car insurance!!! Good news!

knutschen - LOVE your work. The camping scene is my favourite but they are all beautiful! grammadee - YAY for booking your shot. I go for mine tomorrow - I believe it's the Moderna one - DH got Pfizer and goes Thurs for his 2nd. ((((Hugs))) and prayers nylene - that sounds awful for your DH. I hope it improves quickly kitbop - yay for a cheaper repair and pizza to celebrate sounds perfect kellyr21 - I'm so glad that your mum's memorial went well and was a comfort to you. ((((Hugs)))) Your cards ae lovely! I didn't have the energy to scrap tonight - I sewed a dozen napkins this morning (and a dozen yesterday) to replace ones that had worn out. Did a TON of moving totes around in the garage. Homeschooled DD14. Dealt with the electric company - they've finally after six weeks fixed the open neutral in their lines and restored our power (we've been on a temporary power device all this time). Did some work at the other house. Plus laundry and dishes and ... But DH has agreed I can the coming weekend off and scrap for the crop here - YAY.

So sad to hear about your dh's eyesight, nylene. I hope it improves in a day or two as his doctor predicted. It must be really frightening for him, and frustrating. Can you set up his phone to read his texts to him and accept voice messages as texts? I can do that in the car when driving. Great news about your auto repair, kitbop. Great excuse for a pizza celebration! (((((HUGS))))), @kellr21. While it must have been wonderful to see all your mom's friends participate in her virtual event, it would have brought up fresh memories of her as well. Glad you are taking it easy and allowing yourself to recover. Your cards are lovely. Love that coffee colour. Wow! Linda! You made me tired just READING what you did today! Hope you do get a chance to scrap with the Peas this upcoming weekend! I ended up booking other appointments today, including a hair appointment for this Thursday and a mammogram for the end of next week. Wednesday the cleaning lady comes, so I will need to put some things away tomorrow. Got some new scrappy supplies in the mail today, so hoping to play a bit with those tomorrow morning. And I will need a sample for this week's Sketchy Saturday.

Happy Thursday! Waving hi to you all. Today is ok so far. I am just doing some routine things so I can get ready for Ron's birthday, tonight. Yes, it's his big b-day, today! Poor thing had to go to the dentist yesterday and get a tooth removed. So the dinner plans for tonight have changed but I am sure we can find some soft yummy things he can have, like cake!!! Right!!! Hopefully on the weekend, he can have some better foods. Yesterday, I started working on my box card and I made some progress. I hope to continue it today and tomorrow. I gotta figure out what pictures to add to it. Hummm... Have a good evening, all! P.S. Call Me {Crafty} Al shared my SheetLoad of Cards video with her community on YT! SO cool!!! If you go to her YT channel and look under the community tab you will see my video.

Wow I can't believe it's been a week since I've popped in here! So much going on too! knutschen your digital art is AMAZING! Oddly enough, even though I don't really like camping, that Camping piece is my favorite. Love those lights snuggled up in the dark of the night. nylene I'm so sorry that DH is having problems with his sight. I can't imagine how hard that must be, for both of you. Hahaha I'm happy to help anyone with how to pronounce my name, but I honestly don't notice if it's not the "proper" pronunciation. Mom is the stickler lol. grammadee hurray for getting an appt booked! They are opening up to all adults here April 9th so I will be getting mine soon. The Governor said he only expects 60% of people to want the vaccine. That's just crazy to me! But hopefully it means I can get it booked sooner lol. I've totally forgotten how to plan and make appointments for myself since this year of Covid. I need to schedule my mammo, my annual labs, and get my car in for inspection (and probably new brakes). I am thinking of buying a new car later in the year so I'm really not looking forward to pouring more money into this one. But my tags have got to be renewed. I'm going to get all of that booked next week. It's time to remember how to adult lol. yay Linda! So glad you get the weekend to join in the crop this weekend! You days sound exhausting, but it's all coming together slowly but surely! kellyr21 I'm happy that your mom's memorial was well attended. It sounds like she's really going to be missed by many. And OMG! how cool that you were featured on her channel! You are very talented and people recognize it Happy Birthday to Ron!! kitbop pizza for dinner is the answer for all of life's woes and celebrations! If the car had cost $700 to repair, I would have ordered pizza to feel better lol. What a relief it was less than half the quote! It's taken pretty much all week for me to adjust to the time change. I wish they would just leave it. I've been using the time before work to plan my pages and pull things for the crop this weekend. Rudy's mom had some unexpected stuff come up, and he asked to sleep over here tonight. And DS2 wants to hang out tomorrow, but I'm not entirely sure that is going to happen, so I may be late to the crop party. I'm going to be in as many hangouts as possible all weekend though. I'm looking forward to getting more of the 28-4-28 prompts done. I'm surprised at the progress I'm making on them. gramma's 2nd prompt is up next, and I have a lot of journaling for that one lol. Need to print a couple pictures for the Donna challenge this month as well. Have a great weekend if I don't see you around the boards!

joyfulnana - I hate the time change too. My state voted a few years back to stick to daylight savings year-round but of course it hasn't been implemented. Sounds like a busy weekend for you kellyr21 Happy Birthday to Ron! Not sure how much crop time I can squeeze in today between homeschooling and grocery shopping but you know I'm going to try. And I'm hoping to figure out Google Hangouts on my phone so I can pop in to at least one hangout. But Saturday and Sunday are strictly scrapbook days.

Your cards are beautiful. I think you will come up with lots of beautiful ideas for some of her designs. Happy Birthday, Ron! kitbop, good news about your discounted repair bill. That's always good news to hear. Pizza for the family sounds wonderful. Sorry you had to have a repair at all. joyfulnana, I hope when they do the inspection your brakes will be ok until you replace the car. I hate spending money on car repairs. A weekend with DS and Rudy sounds like fun, even if you don't get as much scrapping done as you planned. Congrats on getting closer to getting that shot! Our state will open to everyone over 16 on Monday. Linda, I hate daylight savings time too. It takes me a week to get moving in the mornings and I can't sleep at night. I don't understand why we still do it. I know it served a purpose once, but I prefer just leaving the time the same. You sound so busy that it makes me tired thinking of all that you have going. Be kind to yourself and don't get worn out. I look forward to seeing the finished dress. I guess it's mammogram time, grammadee. I scheduled mine and joyfulnana is scheduling hers too. My DD just scheduled hers too. I have decided I can't live with the pain in my tooth any longer. I don't believe it is getting better, so made an appt. with the oral surgeon for next week. It has been hanging on for too long. Thanks for your concern for DH. Today is the first day that he has said he thinks it is clearing up a little. I can tell he can see more than he could last weekend. He couldn't pour milk or spread butter on his bread without getting it all over. He did that well today. Hooray. I know it's still very blurry and he can't read, but he can function in the house. Off to get something done!

I hope the oral surgeon can find some way to ease that tooth pain, nylene. And here is to NEGATIVE results for all those mammograms we pokeys are having! I completed two double pagers this morning and have posted them in the Gallery and linked to the crop thread. Cleared enough space for my ipad on my scrap counter. Sorted through photos and supplies so I can have a plan for tomorrow morning when I will be hosting a virtual crop. I know at least a couple of you have said that you find it difficult to finish pages when on line. I find it easier if the planning has already been done. Then I can ink and glue and play around with placement without having to think too much about it while I chat with others.
