I’ve finished my Sacred Space. Took me just under 10 weeks. Absolutely gorgeous I love the close up shot.
I've frogged my shawl, I just wasn't enjoying it. I need to find another pattern to use all the balled up yarn I have in my project bag.

jeremysgirl Those colors will work so well together. You have a good eye for color combinations. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Which shawl did you frog lainey? The Painting Honeycombs by Stephen West, I couldn't get into a good rhythm with the pattern (does that make sense?) and found I wasn't looking forward to working on it

found I wasn't looking forward to working on it This happens to all of us, I think. Better to put your energy and your yarn to something you enjoy doing. Life is too short to plow through projects you don't enjoy. Craft time is supposed to be fun time.

It's a shame because I started out really excited about it, I even bought some blocking mats in anticiapation of finishing it! I think I'm going to look for a crochet shawl pattern to use the yarn.

JoP wow wow wow! Did I mention wow! First of all, 10 weeks! I can't imagine you even ate to finish that quickly. The colours are delicious. Holy cats you yarn girls are good with colour. And the pattern, aaah, I would snuggle under it and play pattern games all day. I'm smitten. 😻

Here's my Aiona scarf immediately after surgery! The pattern had you knitting the scarf connecting the ends. Aside from the drop stitch pattern there was 22 knit stitches each row surrounded by 1KFBL (knit from the back loop) on each side. So you actually cut through the beginning of the round which was in the middle of those 24 stitches. Then you unravel, and the unravelling is stopped on each end by the KFBL. I have grouped the strands together by color and made a knot. Tomorrow, I will add additional knots to different lengths of the fringe. I also have a couple of (not in the pattern) dropped stitches I have to fix, and then block. Hey, I'm feeling good. This one scared me and then stretched me. I also am in love with the colors! I love, love, love excellent color combos, and this is so beautiful. On to the next project! This is beautiful! I love the colors.
