I have just finished the final piece if my sweater - just have to sew it up and knit the neckband now. Unfortunately, I was called in to school today as the regular carers are sick, so it will have to wait until this evening.

I don't know what is wrong with me. . . I haven't finished the current prayer shawl I am working on and I am already signing up for a Malabrigo KAL that begins on April 1st ! I have even bought the required yarn for it. Ay ya ya! I doubt I will have the other one finished by April 1st - I think I need an intervention - haha!!

I love the colors disneypal and hey, there's no harm in having more than one project going on at a time.

Just finished putting this box together for my temperature squares. I wished I would have done this back in January. At least I have it now for the rest of the year. It will make it easy to travel with my blanket now. I can make a bunch of squares and just take the box and my ecru yarn that I am using to join them. Fun, fun!

disneypal those colours 😍swoon😍 ETA Ha! My heart just swelled when I saw your yarn. As I walked down my hall it dawned on me why I am so smitten with it. About 18 years ago I bought Christmas balls in 3 sizes in that same green, turquoise, and the deep purple and hung them from 3 expansion rods in a large opening in my family room. It looked awesome, and after Christmas it dawned on me that taking it down to store it and then reconstructing it each year was never going to happen, so I left it up. People always comment on it. 😊 I still love it.

I’ve loved all your makes over the past few month. I can’t knit or crochet so I’m in awe of those of you who can make such intricate things:) Finally I have something to share!! We moved to Tokyo mid December and it took 14 weeks for all of our things to be shipped. I’ve been working on a huge cross stitch which is no where near finished. This is the latest character from CoolCrafting. It’s Ottoline the Otter for my mom for Easter. She needs some whiskers, then I’ll send her to my DD in the UK so she can crochet some clothes for her.

Wow! You talk about how intricate other people’s knitting and crochet is, but your Ottoline is just as intricate. I know I would not have the patience to do all that detailed finishing.

Well now I need crafty peas to weigh in on my Christmas blanket. I did not want to do the bell border. I think it's just too busy. Every photo I view on ravelry I like better without the bells. Jeremy is pro bell. And I've managed to find another skein of mustard. So it's fully possible. What are we thinking? Bells or no bells. Hit me with your opinion. I think the bell border would be too much. I'd either do a solid border or fringe about the whole thing. It's stunning by the way. And the perfect colors for my living room. Do you need my address?

@patter. I love how organized you are. A woman after my own “want to be” heart. I love organizing but I just can’t be as organized as you. Sigh, you and Martha are my idols.

Jeremys friend was making blanket ladders and he ordered me one. Perfect way to display your works of art! I love that it was made by someone you know also. Thank you. Not only is that beautiful, but when I saw the name, I knew I really wanted to put it in my "someday you might be able to try something like this" folder. I'm a Boston Red Sox fan(atic), so Sweet Caroline definitely speaks to me.

I'm working on a 'Celtic Tiles Blanket' and it's my first time making "squares" (rectangles really, they're not square exactly). Does anyone have tips for the the edges? (You just go around the whole thing with single stitches.) The top & bottom is easy, but I hate doing the sides.

Here is the most recent one. attic24.typepad.com/weblog/mini-bobble-edging.html
