I dont think I have an over abundance of anything. We've used most of what we stocked up on regularly. The only thing I might have more on hand that normal is frozen chicken breasts. But grilling weather is here and I will start grilling chicken a bunch so that should use up a bunch. Grilling sounds wonderful! We won't have grilling weather in southwest PA for a few months. I admit I am terrified of the grill (I can't even light a match). So my husband or daughters will have to be the family grillers!

You can totally grill! I learned how to last spring after years of always waiting for DH. Its took me a minuet to get over being afraid but now I can do it! You should try it! Get your DH to show you how!

Canned pineapple and peaches. I gave them all to our daughter.
A brand new humidifier. I'm glad that didn't get used....

I bought a bunch of chicken noodle soup in case Dh and I got sick and needed to eat very easily... neither of us got sick and no one wants to eat canned chicken soup just because.
I bought Costco’s generic TP in the height of the shortage but have never used it because I just keep using the Charmaine which is our preferred brand.
I bought some frozen meatballs from Trader Joe’s (multiple bags) to have meat in hand and it turns out we think they are gross so I threw them out. I think I saw another bag the other day in the garage fridge so that also had to go

I have too much hand sanitizer. This! I bought two huge bottles to refill the little bottle in my purse and still have tons left.

As long as it is sealed, a women's shelter, a homeless shelter or a food-bank will take the food. Please help those in need.

Well, let’s just say we have enough peanut butter until 2026 or so. I imagined us all starving and being forced to eat peanut butter out of the jar just to stay alive.

I’m not aware of anywhere that accepts frozen items which is what I threw out if you read my post. I wouldn’t think most places would- as they don’t know if the item was really frozen properly or unthawed/refrozen.

I think the only thing I stocked up on was Polar orange vanilla seltzer. Other than plain water, it is all I really drink (except an occasional Starbucks iced chai) and it is hard to find. Whenever I saw it, I would pick up a 12 pack or two. For some reason, it was hard here to get olives and salad dressing, so I always made sure I had a backup of those in the pantry. I buy my toilet paper and paper towels at Costco so I usually have a large pack of that. I was running pretty low and getting nervous but Costco started getting it in again around that time.

I bought a ton of tp, clorox wipes and hand sanitizer at the beginning of the pandemic when things were looking scarce. I have used most of it up because I stopped buying extra over the summer when things started being more plentiful. Craft supplies are the thing I overbought thinking I would do a lot of knitting/crocheting. I still have 3 projects I started that are halfway finished LOL.

I didn't buy anything I didn't need, but boy oh boy did my neighbors. Their garage is STACKED with stuff. I know where to go if there is ever a problem.

Hand sanitizer. Once it became readily available, corporate shipped a ton to our office and DH kept bringing it home. I’m sure it will expire before we use it all. When does it expire? I had a lot from bath and body works from the past few years. The little ones for purses and cars. I probably should throw it out if it's expired. I forgot that stuff expires! They expire in 2-3 years. They may still work but not be as effective. Opened bottles usually lose their effectiveness faster because the alcohol starts to evaporate.

I remember last March reading that they had to contain a certain amount of alcohol to be effective against covid. BBW hand sanitizers didn't have the amount of alcohol needed, so I stopped using them. Then they added alcohol so they worked. I guess could use the old one after I get vaccinated.

Canned soup hasn't been touched, and I guess I overbought rice during a time period we were eating a lot of it. I work with a food pantry, so I've been donating a little bit each week.

’m not aware of anywhere that accepts frozen items which is what I threw out if you read my post. You also mentioned canned chicken noodle soup. A lot of regular people don't know extreme hunger. If the meatballs were frozen and sealed, they could be used to feed animals. Dumping any kind of food is unacceptable to me, unless it has gone bad. My mom was a refugee during the WW2 & told me the horrors of being so hungry. Some people are passionate about rescue animals, my soapbox is hunger and waste of food & clothing.

My husband apparently thought we were going to be eating the hell out of canned green beans. I’m just not a big fan, so in the pantry they’ve stayed. If by chance you have a dog, they love green beans

No reason to judge what she did with her frozen meatballs

Just well intentioned boredom craft projects that either were half started or never even opened. I was so sure I could answer "nothing", until you mentioned this😃. I bought a very small embroidery project. I started it but it soon ended up in the naughty corner. Then one day when I was in a tidying frenzy I packed it away. I forgot it even existed until your post.

Nothing, really. And even when we do stock up, like when a hurricane is coming, it's all stuff we'd eat anyway.

I'm in northern Alberta and it's always bbq-ing weather if you're in the mood! We've always bbq'd in the winter. I didn't buy anything we wouldn't eat. I keep a well stocked pantry because of where we live so I just had extra and eventually let it dwindle down a bit. I still don't go into the city too often so I keep a bit extra than normal for the stuff I can only get there.

I am betting the meatballs had ingredients that would be dangerous to pets. And we don’t even know if she has pets.

I just bought food we normally eat except for powdered milk which I have been using in cooking sauces, so it has all been used. I did buy Tylenol but we never used it.

Yeast... we did use it a couple times. I’m sure it won’t go to waste!
Also a case of gatorade. I told the kids no one was to tough it in case we all got Covid and needed it. So far, it’s till there. The kids call it the Covid gatorade and no one wants to jinx us by drinking it.
