Goodness me, the poinsettia album! *fans self* I thought the same thing! I said on the new release thread I like bits and pieces of most of the lines. Nothing is really standing out for me though. |

Hmm the only thing that really grabbed me is the poinsettia album. The Echo Park and Carta Bella lines all look very samey and I'm sure they've released very similar collections before.

Christmas Cheer has a red KA mixer that looks just like my 1950's pink one that I fixed up!!! Ack!!!! I am so sad it isn't a sticker. But will get that paper for it.
Unless CP hits it out of the park again, I will just use up what I have.
ETA: they have the mixer as a sticker but not chipboard.

I had missed the baking elements of this one; had merely scrolled through quickly looking at colour and design. I might pick up some of this line b/c of the mixer and rolling pin and gingerbread. Mentioned on the other thread that I love the concept of the kids’ wagon, too. love the poinsettia album. |

None of the EP/CB lines excite me and I was disappointed to note Steven Duncan didn't have any of his leggy reindeer, or the blue he often uses this year.

I feel like I've seen some of these EP lines already from years before. The color schemes seem like repeats that I'm sure I have from collections from them. So much so, that I had to do a double take and make sure they where new lines. So odd. I know there's only so much you can do with Christmas, but some of these look so, so similar. So disappointing cause I love EP. Guess all my money is waiting for Simple Stories!!

I don’t know, I’m not in love with any of the color palettes yet. It’s all very traditional. I know it’s probably hard to do Christmas lines year after year but I’m still hoping for something that feels *fresh*. There had to be a compromise between traditional red/green/white and pink/aqua/mint.

Still hoping for a reindeer-centric Christmas line from Steven Duncan in the future, too, Chinagirl828! His vintage reindeers are so beautifully designed and fun. Yes! Reminiscent of the stop motion animation movies.

I’m always partial to the high contrast red/green/black on a white background. However, it’s been about three years in a row with these same collection colors with little variation in tone/theme. I’m ready for something new.

Yes, this album is now on my list! I still think the EP and CB collections are too similar to past collections, and too many white-based designs, but this album, a couple of the papers, and a few of the embellies will work with my existing Christmas stash  I am hoping (dreading) that Crate Paper and Pinkfresh have nice collections for this year (not that I need *any* more Christmas supplies).  |

I really like that Cosy Winter collection - that's the only one standing out to me. My wallet's happy about that! I may not pick much up though, since I already have so much Christmas stuff from years past.

I think this might a mistake that this was leaked?
An LSS has posted a Vicki B. pre-order...for her Christmas line!!!
Take a look quick, because it's probably gonna get taken down!
(ETA - I've posted picture in the other thread but I've removed the link to the store because I realized that if this is a blunder the LSS could get into trouble with AC and I don't want that!)
