Those cards are amazing! I like the subtle VW van colors and rust. (For some reason they didn’t show up for me last night.) You did them DURING class?! I couldn’t have moved that fast if my life depended on it. Have you watercolored before? And have you been in the chat? Hope there’s less freezing today. I’m running late. I was able to follow Lydia much easier, so yes I finished painting with her and finished it to make it into cards in the break. I still have to finish KW first card I just did the watercoloring. We are ready for today. Cut everything up so hopefully less stress. I have done some watercoloring, but I'm not good at it , not practicing enough 😁 Have fun ladies! I'll check back during the day and hoping for less freezing too, the chat is too fast can't keep up with it. A Simon acetate grid did the same on the printed side. I was briefly on the phone with a neighbor and not looking for a few seconds. Bye, flowers, bye line. Not all of them, could be usable. I emailed C&9 to see if I could buy another. It was the Hero Arts or Stewart refill (same thing). |

Your projects look amazing, azcrafty! I hope we get to buy all of them. I want them all, even though I missed what Kristina's was. I'm guessing a star? Oceanside's (ours) and Becky's were my favorite. I thought the entire thing was great and I'll definitely sign up if they do another one. |

I had a lot of fun and having my friend here and doing it together was a blast. She's a long time card maker, but doesn't know the celebs so she enjoyed getting to know them.
I have to start saving my money for next year's for sure.
I signed up for the scrapbook and cards' October card event and intrested to see how that goes.

I don’t remember what I asked or said! lol I could not watch and create at the same time - that became clear when I didn’t turn a turnabout stamp twice even though I have some! lol So I didn’t finish anything and didn’t attempt the afternoon 3D ones at all. But I had a ball! And I love the double turnabout set plus will definitely get some of the other cabin dies. Cathy’s clover cabin one was perfect for the stamp set - and I don’t remember the others, but a couple others were terrific too. It seemed that they thought more about the supplies campers were given and added to them. Remind me which die set was honeysuckle? I’m in the October card making event too. |

There were two but kind of three since the one with flowers actually was two small turnabouts. One was flowers and one was leaves, and they actually could be used separately or even as regular stamps - which I wouldn’t have thought of probably but the instructor did. |

It really is beautiful! I’m trying to decide whether to try the 3D projects. They’re exquisite and fascinating, yet not my style of making, and I can’t imagine who I’d send the cards to or how I’d use the flowers. And have a feeling I’d not be good at the flower making. OTOH they’re wonderful and it could be fun to try them. But I also have been spending too much time watching card making videos instead of making cards - though I made one the other day - so also feel I need to focus on what I do. Plus I attended a very different type of event where we didn’t have to buy supplies (though I bought a few), and there were a couple techniques that I loved, one by Ingrid Blackburn, and want to hone in on them. So on one hand, on the other hand... I had a boss once ask me how many hands I had anyway. |

Clover- I love how that one matched the stamp set I don’t tend to use “thing” dies that much, or scenes, but the honeysuckle one is adorable! So clover and honeysuckle are faves and maybe Laura’s rainbow and Caly’s. I’m blanking on the fifth? More people may be involved in the October thread. I’ve never done one of their events. I got such a kick out of the camp silliness - sitting there laughing out loud. And finding out personal things about the counselors was fun and sometimes poignant. A gift. A chunk of my background was in training and development, and I was so impressed by Greg’s ability to think on his feet, read the room and change things up a bit as they went along. So many would not be able to go off script. He’s a great ad libber and wants feedback. Props to him. |

As much as I loved the flowers, I don't think I'll be doing many more after this week. It would sure be pretty on a kraft or black wrapped gift, though. Maybe someday. Once. LOL
I thought this whole camp was so fun! The counselors were all pleasant and it was nice getting to know them better. The only one I was really familiar with was Cathy. I used to see her at CHA years ago. I'm still trying to figure out which cabin some didn't want to be in??
It as nice visiting with you gals during this, hopefully we'll all be in next years, as well! Have fun with your projects!
