I do.
I am a seller, and leave feedback for every buyer who leaves feedback for me.
I really wish more buyers would leave feedback, so that my number (next to the star) would go up.
Do you always leave feedback? Only if there was a problem? Never?

I do! It may take me a couple weeks to do so as a buyer, but that is because I want to make sure everything is working the way I expect it too. When I have sold things, it bugs me when/if someone doesn't leave me feedback!

It bugs me pretty badly when I don't get feedback left too.

I do, unless shipping took a long time. then I don't leave it. I dont' leave bad feedback, just don't leave feedback at all. that's my passive aggressive way.

I do, because I sell as well and I realize that it mattered quite a bit to me when my number was still small.
Once people have a larger number I don't think it matters as much, but I am in the habit of leaving feedback from my earlier days.

I do, but it means less now that buyers can't get negged. I recently sold 20 items and bought one, and only half the buyers and not the seller left me fb. I think users don't care as much anymore about it and think of it more like Amazon now. I never leave fb on Amazon, partly bc it's annoying and wants to leave my name.

I almost never do, but it isn't on purpose. I just never think of it.
I know Amazon sometimes sends e-mails asking you to. I forget - does eBay? If they do, then I leave feedback if they remind me to. If not, then they should. I would definitely do it then.

Yes. It impacts the seller's score so as a buyer I always leave feedback. If I'm not happy with the transaction I have to mull it over but I try to always leave positive feedback.

Do you always leave feedback? Only if there was a problem? Never? Always, I thought it was a 'rule' Sometimes it's later than I would like, but since eBay reminds me to leave feedback I always do. ~ Dori ~

Yes....leave it as both buyer and seller. As a seller, I tend to do it as soon as I have the package ready to be shipped. I know a lot of people don't like to do that in case something goes wrong, but since you can't leave a negative for a buyer anyway I just go ahead and give it to them. I've only had one buyer that aggravated the crap out of me and told me she suspected I had sent her an item that was "not authentic." As I knew it was not, since I bought it directly from the company, I was pretty mad. She knew my having to pay to have item shipped back to me was not worth it and that if she brought a case with eBay, she would win. I refunded her money, told her to toss item, (I'm sure she didn't) and just ate the loss and then blocked her from ever buying anything from me again. No feedback for her. She was the only bad apple.

If I can't leave positive feedback I don't leave any or I'll find one thing that went well and say that. I don't want to deal with the drama that can come from leaving negative feedback.

I do on both Ebay and Etsy because I know how it feels as a seller to have a customer NOT give you feedback. Makes you think something was wrong with the product. I run into this a lot on Etsy selling homemade things. Getting feedback lets me know I'm doing a good job. No feedback makes me think I screwed up somehow and honestly I'd love to have an opportunity to fix a problem.

I do. I sell on Etsy and the vast majority of people who buy from me don't, however. That's why I always make it a point to leave it for the sellers I buy from.

I always do and I both buy (a lot) and sell (now and then). It doesn't bother me anymore if someone doesn't leave me feedback, probably because my number is high.

I'm a buyer, and a damn good one! Unless I am buying multiple items and waiting for a shipping total, I pay immediately after I purchase. I've never retracted a purchase and I have a 100% rating - never got a negative. I expect a seller to leave feedback for me based on their experience of my part of the transaction, paying promptly leaving clear instructions etc. If they leave feedback for me, then I will always reciprocate. If the seller doesn't leave feedback for me first, then I won't leave any either. I have enough feedback as a buyer to validate me as genuine, so I don't care if I get any more feedback or not...if a seller wants more, then they need to leave it. To me a seller must leave it first...I've done my part of the transaction and they need to recognise that.

I always leave feedback when I buy something. It may take me a week or two, but I do it. I haven't sold anything in Ebay in years but I would hope that buyers would leave feedback.

I always do, UNLESS there was some problem with the transaction (when I am buyer). I could email the seller and bitch about it (two weeks to ship??) but I often just choose not to leave feedback. I'm usually just in the market for an apology, but that never seems terribly forthcoming, so I no longer waste energy.
When I sell, I include a note in the package that says something to the effect of: if you paid timely, then I am eventually going to leave you feedback, but I don't do that until I know the transaction is complete to the buyer's satisfaction. The fastest way for the buyer to signal satisfaction to me is just to leave feedback, and I'll see that it was left when I check in to my account.
