I carry my card (USA) in my wallet, but also signed up on the MyIR site and got access to all my shot history. MyIRIt works for the following States: Washington, Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, N. Dakota, Tennessee, W. Virginia and Washington D.C. It took me a couple of times to authenticate because of phone number requirements, but it finally did. Thank you!

I have the standard CDC card (which is bigger than a credit card) and carry it with me in my wallet. I also have a picture of my card in my phone. I haven't been to a doctor's appointment since I was vaccinated, so it has not been added to my medical records. That will happen this month.
The issue in the US is the state/federal divide. A digital record on your phone from a vetted/official entity is great for countries and people with that option, but let's not assume that all populations have the same tech/digital privileges. A paper card is a pretty flimsy document that is easy to forge or lose or get destroyed. And depending on where you got the vaccine, I don' know how easy it would be to get a replacement.

So, do I need to figure out how to save the site that gave me the code, or is the screen shot enough? Yeah, I know I sound like a dork. Another So Cal gal. I took a screenshot AND on my iPhone I had the option to save it to my wallet (and that's what I did). I need to learn how to do that. I took a screen shot but I had to do two to get all the info which is annoying. The email said the info will only remain for 24 hours so I guess that means I need to figure out where to request it from again. I haven’t needed it yet. My son did need to upload a copy of his card to his college. I need to figure out a way to more easily access it than scrolling through hundreds of photos.

Interesting, since the German system was hacked last week. They are currently not inputting any CDC vaccination verifications into the system. And you do not realise that your cards are way, way easier to forge than it is to hack a national database? Cards would be really easy to forge when there is no unity. In Alberta, my mom got a 8.5x11 sheet of paper from the provincial health care where she got her shot. One pharmacy was laminating wallet sized cards. The other pharmacy in town was giving small cards. When I got my first shot I got nothing and said something after to my mom and sister about not having proof and they said you should have got something. I didn't. My mom's has her name spelt wrong, I think just the i and e mixed up.

I need to figure out a way to more easily access it than scrolling through hundreds of photos. Put the photo into an album. Then you just have to go that album rather than look through your entire photo roll.

I add a title so that I can just do a search for the note that I’m looking for.
