I've finished my first sock and it's too small I usually cast on 56-60 stitches and this one has 64 so why doesn't it fit? I'm genuinely baffled (it doesn't take much!). Maybe your feet grew! 😂 Is this something you can frog back and adjust, or is it the size around and not the length? I'm trying to pluck up the courage to frog it back to the gusset decreases and try again with more stitches, it's tight around the foot so that should fix it. I need to learn how to fix mistakes in knitting without hyperventilating

I made these shirts for my middle school coteachers. We’re missing the PE teacher. These were a bit girlie for him and I asked his wife to make one for him to go with ours.

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! My yarn has arrived. Major excitement. It's a grey, miserable day here and the yarn is brighter in real life than in this photo.

I just made a simple red & white and another lace one last night while watching hulu/netflix/whatever. After the garage/power tool part it's a good simple creative outlet. Here it is, under harsh light and not put together yet. Heck, I'm pretty sure it's still wet in that picture.

Love that. You need to setup an etsy shop! Patter I agree Oh, thanks! Funny you should mention that... I actually just started to dabble in it before I moved. Then I shut it down to move and after the move for injury and "busy". I just am starting to think about it again. Just listed a few things. It'll be a slow go because it's more of a fun outlet and not a business. When things become a business, the fun goes bye bye for me. And that's why I putz around with stuff, for fun. I have little to no idea how to get views and sales of stuff online so I am of the "if some sell, some sell" mindset. www.etsy.com/shop/funnyfarmtreasures/

PLurker I love those barn stars, especially the blue lace one. seaexplore cute shirts. I love the colours and font. Totally recognised you from your avatar! Interestingly at the last school I taught at, we weren’t allowed to use the word tribe except in the correct historical context.

This is what I’ve been working on the last few weeks. I’ve got another block of ‘flowers’, a block of kitties and the border to go. Basically mirroring what’s done. It’s Rosina Plane’s Meow pattern and I’ve added her Woof design to it to. A word of caution when using Wool Warehouse’s search for yarn and putting the weight in as a filter as well as colours. I thought all the hits would be specific to JUST the weight and colours together but they weren’t. The hits brought up all the yarns of the particular weight and all the yarns of the colours I was looking for, irrespective of their weight. It didn’t occur to me to check the weight again (on my phone, late at night, tired) so when the random dyed yarn arrived, it was, unbeknownst to me, thinner than the colours I had already started with. As the blanket is just for me I am happy enough to use it, figuring it is mosaic crochet and the alternate rows of the other weight yarn will help stabilise it, but I thought I’d point out that that’s how Wool Warehouse responds to a search.

I need to cheer myself up as I have been posting some depressing heavy stuff to try and help people with Long Covid. So these are oldies because it has been very heavy rain lately and the flowers in the garden are worse for wear. Flowers in tins - just make me smile.
