And here is a still from the IG story featuring the brand new horizontal 10x8 album for December Daily rings match up with the 6x8 albums so you can add in those Inked-branded page protectors to the album, no worries): Okay, I love the size of that album. I *HATE* her handwriting on the cover though. I hope there's another option without, otherwise I'll stick with my original plan of a SB.com album. I like that green album, I'd never use it but it looks pretty from far away heh Such a pretty shade of green! A luminous pine, ugh, I love it. Excited for the holiday season and I 100000% blame all the "Christmas in July" stuff. I've been randomly singing "where are you christmas?" for days now. Not going to lie, I knew the DD thread would go up at some point this week because last year's first sneaks dropped on August 3rd. I may have played a couple of Christmas albums over the past few days... My SO was not impressed.  It's good to have a safe space with "my" people here.  For about 10 seconds I considered taking a break this year. Nope-I'm in! I LOVE love love the 10x8 album! One simply does not free oneself from DD's clutches... You're in for life (you just don't know yet).  I'm actually glad to see horizontal albums make a comeback. They're a welcome change after so much verticality for so many years. It'll be nice to see some Peas working with one this December! |

The sneak says there'll be a 10X8 in neutral linen, too. I think it's the one Katie's holding in the IG post? It looks like a horizontal album, not a 6x8. That would be a light-ish grey or sand colour. Ugh, so much for my reading comprehension. I scanned it and got distracted. ROOKIE MISTAKE! Thanks for clearing it up for me. I'm actually excited for Christmas this year. Usually at this time of year I want all of you and your ridiculously early Christmas cheer to just bugger off, but it's been a tough year personally although things have turned a corner and it's such a nice, normal feeling to have things to look forward to.
I have a couple of empty 6x8 albums in my stash so I don't really need to buy an album this year. If the offerings are not things I'm totally in love with I expect you all to hold me to using what I own.

I did my one and only DD in 2019 and said it was fun but I don't need to do another. But I AM considering it this year for two reasons - first Christmas in our new house AND DD21 is moving out over the holidays and it might be nice to capture that.
I'm not decided though.

This will be my first year to have my epson picture mate so I’ll be able to do an actual daily in real time! I’ll be making minis using the cocoa daisy stuff.

That album is so right ip my alley. I LOVE working landscape! I’d buy it in a snap IF it didn’t have a Christmas specific quote on the album. I just don’t do enough Christmas to do a specifically Christmas centric album. But yeah, I’m not her DD target audience.
But I do hope I hope this size pops up in Ali land elsewhere after Christmas. 🤞🏻 I love love the format.

I remember early this year there was a huge thread in Ali’s Facebook group about what people would like for 2021 DD release and many wanted bigger albums as they ended up with 2 6x8 albums. I think a bigger option of 8x10 would satisfy some of 2-album people. I am not sure what to think about this size as it will not fit with my 9x12 albums on the shelf. If the shipping is reasonable I might pick one linen album up as a travel album if inside is plain. As far as DD, I already have 3 6x8 FJ albums lined up so will use one again this year. This will be 9th year doing this project and that size was always the one that worked for me. I have also old Pink Paisley Christmas 8x8 album I picked up on Clearance at Tuesday Morning before they went bankrupt and maybe one year will use it but it has skinnier spine so need a quieter year.

I'm coming along for the ride this year gals. It will be my first December project. I'm not sure I can quite commit to daily but I'm going to do something! I like that green album, I'd never use it but it looks pretty from far away heh I'm feeling it too! I am really excited for the album offerings this year. The 10x8 is definitely a step too far for me but I can see why it appeals to people. It is such a nice size for putting on your lap and flipping through with family or friends. |

For 2021 I was going to shop my stash and use the 4x6 album I purchased last year. I've already bought Brandi Kincaid's mini kit onsale and more December baubles in the 2.00 sale-so that resolution is out the window!!

I think those are two excellent reasons to rejoin the merry mad bunch! You get to capture all the cosy nooks and rooms where your traditions have been transferred to since moving and the last moments of your daughter before she becomes her own independent person. *DD siren song starts playing*  I'm actually excited for Christmas this year. Totally denying any Christmas excitement that started way back when I first saw that posted and made non excited plans to change the prior non excited plans because I’m *not excited* for Christmas. Nope.

My favorite thing about the DD thread last year was clicking in on it and seeing that adorable gif of Dale (or Chip?) goofy reflection in the Christmas ornament.
I’m a little bewildered every time I open this thread and see Jack. That’s all.
