Ummm did I get the time wrong? at 8 am central the DD stuff was for sale. Now its not? It’s 10 AM EST, 9 AM CST or about 45 minutes from right now. Interesting. They took my order & I have a confirmation email now. |

I was reading the message board and the alarm went off I had set and I couldn't remember what I set it for (was it to wake up or to go look at Ali's website before ordering) so I was surprised DD was already on the homepage + stuff in the store. I figured I got the time wrong (again). I wasn't even super quick...I got the three things I wanted and had to update my credit card and I checked out. I was going back to look at the other things I saw (DD grab bags) and poof! Away it went. |

Speaking as someone who has done (and completed) DD since 2009 you can totally do the album without AEs 2.5"spine! Only 3 of my albums have been Ali's. I've used SS albums, made my own with the cinch, did resin covers etc. I've used AEs kits, FJs kits, grabbed a complete Christmas paper collection & cut it down, made my own by mixing HS papers with digital papers/elements from Traci Reed. All I'm saying is that DD is more than AEs kit+album. For those looking for an album alternative SB.com's are not a full 2.5" but they are bigger than SS. I used one for my WITL. I can measure if anyone would like.

If it were TRULY not about the stuff, she'd go back to her original DD model and just snag some stuff and put it together, right? I get that nobody on her "design team" could do that, but the DD FB guidelines clearly state you shouldn't use other product lines. I know we all know why, but for her to continue saying it... bleh. I left the group, but I went and found it and the "Group Rules" state: "No Marketing/Posting Of Other Holiday-Themed Kits It is okay to share albums that include non-Ali Edwards Design products but please be considerate that this is mainly a group for those using Ali Edwards' products." They also have a "Moderated Content & Removal From Group" that states: "We reserve the right to moderate all content posted in the community at our discretion, without explanation. If a post, in any way, is deemed by us as inappropriate, or on a topic that we feel will require extra moderation, it will not be approved or may have comments turned off/be deleted. If you break the group rules repeatedly (more than twice), we reserve the right to remove you from the group." Which is pretty standard, I think, but really. Also, their "Group Purpose" is: "The purpose of the group is to encourage + inspire those participating in December Daily® and are using products from aliedwards.com. Please direct all customer service & product related questions/concerns to Customer Service. Posts will be deleted that break this rule. Thank you for helping us keep this a space meant for inspiration" "This is a space meant for inspiration" as long as you only use Ali's stuff, even though it's not "about the stuff". Again, I get it that she wants to sell stuff, but STOP PLAYING BOTH SIDES!!! |

I looked, put the tags+stickers that I wanted in my cart, saw the flat rate shipping even though I was purchasing stickers! and emptied my cart.
But there are old kits available if anyone wants...including an album for $25

Ahhhh, I was on the phone with a customer when it went live. I would have loved the red album from last year but it was sold out by the time I got on.
I ended up getting the gray 10x8 album and that’s it. I will use my stash and make it work. I’ve always done 6x8 so this should be fun and interesting to try out the new format.
Hope everyone is able to snag everything they want.

Oh my gosh I just got my AE confirmation! LOL I'm so excited...and I don't even know why. God I'm such a dork.
I've done DD for years. 99% of the time I haven't used any AE product. In fact all my albums are a mashup of whatever Dec/Christmas stuff I have from everywhere/everyone, I just pick a colour scheme. I'm also not a fangirl. Buut I wanted that 10x8 album so bad. I normally document in a mini-album, a TN or a 6x8. Oh but when I saw that 10x8 I could just hear my little heart sing. lol
Got the album, a set of pocket pages, those giant felt numbers and the notebook. We have a couple trips for Dec and I want to document them in there and then insert it in a pocket in my album.
Anyway I hope everyone gets all the things without any problems. Good luck everyone!!
