The November (really December/Holiday, since they ship later in the month) kits are up at Hip Kit Club. They look very Pinkfresh-ish to me, and I think they would go great with this year's Pinkfresh Holiday line, as well as last year's line  November 2021 Hip Kit Club |

Yes, I think so. I also think that the Pinkfresh inks would go well with these kits. I think I read somewhere (maybe here on the board) that Hip Kit uses the same manufacturer (and maybe some of the same designers) as Pinkfresh. I sub to the main HK kit, and the paper quality of the exclusive HKC papers is definitely the same/similar to Pinkfresh... |

That Hip kit looks pretty! I wish they would include a video with the reveal of the actual products. I can't seem to shell out my money looking at digital mock ups.

I came home to my FJ box tonight and jenna you are right the numbers are dreamy! I was annoyed no 31 but now that they are here, that isn't bugging me as much as I thought it would. I like the kit way more in person than I did online. I'm really glad I picked it up (my DH sweetly bought it for me. He got it for me last year too, maybe it's becoming a tradition  ). sleepingbooty I might need that Grinch pillow link. My dad would enjoy that and I would enjoy visiting it. Too funny. |

I have an idea that I’m pretty excited about. Every year in my DD I do a page, usually of 2x2 squares, of bits of ephemera from the month— the holiday tea box, a bit of the nog carton, a stamp from a Xmas card, a cool postcard about a holiday event, etc.
And I want to do something different so I’m going to do a spread of big hexies. Maybe 2.5” or so. Fussy cut images. I’m going to use the big foot from my Archie McPhee box but he will be full size and extend beyond the Henie.
This will be fun!

Going down the rabbit hole now. Here's the 2013 kit (Studio Calico). I still have most of this in the box because I never got around to creating my album that year!  I loved this kit. I bought it in 2014 and never got around to starting a DD until two years ago! I would just open the cute box it came in and admire it. I still use that box and it is in great shape. I’d love for someone to create a kit in a box like that one. |

I think the right side is going to be folded over and that's where the title and number will be. I'm going to go look through my paper now. I don't want it to be on white but I don't know if I have two sheets of anything. My Lego Elf Clubhouse came today and I had no idea what it was. Then inside the flap there was a note explaining that they don't want to spoil anyone's surprise so they keep the box plain. I ripped that flap off faster than you can say "Son of a Nutcracker!" |

My haul: I like that these rolls don’t have a lot. I get bored and want new patterns every year. Those mega rolls can last forever. My parents had this one GIANT roll of Christmas paper that lasted for my entire childhood. It was around before I was born, and lasted until I was nearly done with high school. I was present when my dad used it for the last time, to wrap a gift for his boss. He eyed the roll and muttered “I think it’s the end for this one”. And after the paper was gone he slowly folded and flattened the cardboard center and stuffed it in the trash. He was a little sad about it, like saying goodbye to an old holiday friend. 😆 Fast forward several years and I’m shopping at Costco with my new husband, about to have our first married Christmas together. I see Costco’s huge paper rolls. I HAVE to get one, even though none of the patterns tickle my fancy. I just loved the idea of having a roll that would last the ages, like that one from my childhood. We call it The Legacy Roll and dutifully wrap a gift for each other in it, but I’m so over it. It’s been 22 years already and my kids could give a flying fig. They have failed to absorb the significance of the family heritage Christmas wrap. 😂 I still have paper from my first married Christmas in 1990. Every now and then I use some, but it’s very fragile now. It wasn’t the highest quality paper, probably bought at Target, and has moved around the country and been in storage at various times when we lived overseas. I will be sad when it’s finally gone. |

Happy to announce I JUST finished my DD 2020 album! Congratulations!! That's so awesome. Do you have instagram? If so, show up some photos. Would love to see something new. Today I printed a few things to prepare. I can't do much without my order from ACOT because that Cocoa Vanilla is going to be what I build my kit around. I keep stalking the page to see if it's in yet. They usually ship the pre-orders right away. |
