Hey friends, I did a search but couldn't find the specific thread about where to buy replacement Cuttlebug plates. I found a Cuttlebug I want to buy for cheap but it doesn't come with plates and before I buy it I want to make sure I can get replacement plates. I think I read on here that someone got replacements from either a Tap plastics or some online seller that sold plates they made that weren't necessarily the official Cuttlebug plates. Does anyone remember this or did I dream it?

I have a set of B plates in the package, yours for the postage. I threw away the machine when we moved but held onto the plates, for some reason or another!

I have a Sizzix Big Kick, so have no replacement plate suggestions. Perhaps you're referencing the Cuttlebug Folders thread from a few months ago. HTH.

I don't have a Cuttlebug but I noticed that Scrapbook.com recently came out with a Magic Mat for the Cuttlebug. I've also seen some knockoff plates on Amazon that are said to work with the Cuttlebug, so you could check those out as well (no idea as to the quality).

Thanks everyone! I need to get an A plate but my local Tap plastics can cut one for $10 in the exact dimensions I need so I'm going to try that as well.

I ordered some from Stamp Doctor and a no name one from Amazon when I was looking for some and they both worked great.

Very exciting stuff: I found a used A plate on Etsy for $10 plus $6 shipping which is a STEAL compared to eBay (they go for $35 +shipping with is usually anywhere from $7 -$56). It's worth $6 shipping for me to not have to drive to Tap plastics which is about 10 miles from my house and I don't have to go anywhere. LOL

I've tried and can't seem to get what I want to come up in the results because Amazon's search results just return whatever they feel like.

I know how hard they are to find. I was blessed by a pea who gifted me a plate before I found some to buy. jediannie and @eddie-n-Harley my search on Amazon was We-buys Cutting Dies C Plate Replacement Adapter Mat Clear, If you look at the questions and answers or reviews it will tell you what mm you need for the plates. The info for the Stamp Doctor (which are the ones I am using now) is 928-274-9220 * www.thestampdoctor.com *www.facebook.com/TheStampDoctor
