UPDATE: I reached out to them via email, send photos (requested) of the blurry, strange prints. Some of the prints had a white stripe on them, and were cropped very oddly, VERY washed out color, etc....Brian at PP argued with me, emailed me back that that was the way I took the photo, ummmmmm no, it was not, I took them on my phone and there was no weird stripe on there, and the color looked fine on the computer. When I showed the mismatched prints, he offered to reprint those. When I said about the missing prints, he asked me which ones and their #, I don't know, I ordered over 200 prints! Anyway-I won't be dealing with them anymore and will be filing a request for a refund via PayPal. Won't ever use them again and am bummed that I tried.
Ordered from them, just received. Some weird prints, some came out fine, others not so much. For comparison, I printed some of the same prints at Walgreens, they came out just fine, similar quality. Was not super impressed for 1) price and 2) non-ease of use and 3) customer service.
I had a bunch of questions and found their website very challenging to navigate. I could not increase photo print sizes, or I would have ordered some 5x7's. All I was able to get was 4x6.
Oddly enough some of the same print (ordered 3 copies) one was blurry, and 2 were fine. Same exact print. Long wait time to call and talk to someone, and the help chat did not know how to help me. They couldn't even tell me how to get a 5x7 of the same print.
Edited to add since they say they "check every print" I was unpleasantly surprised that they send some of the really bad prints out.

That's awful, I'm sorry! Hopefully they can get everything worked out because they are the only company I use and I absolutely love their quality. I won't print anywhere else. Sounds like an off order somehow. Have you sent an email?

I too exclusively use Persnikity Prints and have for quite some time. Although I will agree that their website can be a bit challenging I have learned to navigate it and feel comfortable using it. The quality of the prints has always been good. The only thing I dislike about them is they don't offer some of the sizes I would like, like a 2x2. However I have looked and other printing companies do not off those sizes either. By the way I order 5 x 7 all the time.

Weird. I use PP all the time and there is a learning curve for their site, I dont have any trouble using it now. I also always have great photos sent back to me. I order 3x4, 4x6, 5x7 and 12x12 pretty regularly.
Sorry you had a bad experience with them!

I am also sorry that you had a bad experience. I hope this doesn't sour you to them, because honestly, this doesn't sound like the norm for them. I've never had any trouble finding or ordering various sizes. That being said, I only go to their site on a regular PC. I have no idea what or how their site looks or works on a phone or tablet. Maybe that is part of the issue. I don't know. Also, I've always had good luck with my prints. I'm not sure why some would be ok, and some are not. I definitely would email or send a message on their Facebook. What I know of their company, they would not want a disappointed customer and I really think they would take care of it. I think everyone and everywhere is dealing with lack of employees and new employees and possibly your order slid through the cracks. I hope you can get it resolved.

I signed up for the Persnickety box earlier this year and was disappointed in the quality of the prints I got from them. I ended up getting a PM 400 and those prints were far superior to what I received from Persnickety. I was bummed because I’ve always heard such great things about them.

I'm sorry you had such a negative experience.
I've always been very happy with their quality and customer service. I once placed a huge order which included some journal cards. PP called me to explain they wouldn't print very well, something to do with the resolution. Anyway instead of just printing them, they called me and helped me to upload to their site so they'd print correctly.
As others said I think this is a one-off. I'd email or call them as I'm sure they'll make it right by you.

You have to cut them apart, but they would be 2x2 with a white border. www.persnicketyprints.com/products/photostrip-print/

In my experience, they always make things right and the quality is excellent. I hope you get your concerns resolved . I agree that the website is not the most user friendly.

Wow, talk about terrible CS. I do wonder what's going on with the amount of Persnickety Prints codes I've seen floating about recently. It could very well be a change in lab setup which is now affecting quality. I don't follow PP/LifePics since I'm not American so there may be some changes happening in the company.
Sorry you had so many issues! I hope you get your corrected prints and that they will live up to PP's reputation.

My girlfriend recently tried them with a really big order for a special project and her prints were just not vibrant. I had always heard how nice the prints were but hers were all subpar. She contacted them and they came across as not too concerned. She was told to email them with a list of which prints she had an issue with, when she clearly told them the whole batch wasn’t good. She felt like her order was too large and the request was just not gonna work for the situation. I’m not sure what they could of did but they could have done something much more I believe.

I haven’t used them since the original 2Peas, I started using them after Scrapbook Pictures closed and besides the fact their website was a nightmare I had HORRID customer service from them. I can’t remember the issue now, but it was 100% their fault and the response was terrible. I remember starting a thread on the old board about them.

Well, I’m glad I didn’t just place my huge photo order with them. I was THISCLOSE, but decided not to mess with it.

I placed a lot of orders with PP. When I had an issue, I received a snarky email response from the owner. Their quality has been declining for some time. That and the snarky email are enough for me to move on.

I have been printing with them this year, as I bought credits. Until this last time my experience was decent. This time, I got someone elses pictures, smack dab in the middle of my photos (30 of someone elses). When I contacted them, they told me to discard, then called and asked me to keep, that they would contact me via email. Nothing since.

Nope. Won’t be sending my order to PP. Thanks for sharing your experience. It really stinks that they wouldn’t make it right. Customer Service is everything.

Well crap! I have some credits with them and now I'm bummed I didn't use them sooner. I haven't ordered in a few years and now maybe I'll wait a bit more in the hopes that their customer service will turn around.

Oh that update makes me stabby. I’ve never used them because the website used to be bonkers, then the app was bonkers. I used the free prints app for YEARS until this year when I bought a home printer.
Persnickety is well, supposed to be persnickety. It kinda pisses me off that they weren’t apologetic to you. It takes a lot of time and effor to upload that many pix to order. It’s a pita to be sure.

I have also used PP for years, and had always been happy. I also had two very bad interactions with Brian and it soured me as well. I still love the prints, and size options. I am less thrilled with the customer service part and am looking for another option because I need to place an order soon.

I was about to place a big order, my first since March, and I'm a little scared. I've always gotten pretty good customer service and good quality prints. This news is sad.
