She’s right, it’s the debt accumulated from trump’s tax cuts on top of the monies spent to mitigate the affects of the pandemic during former’s administration.
Prior to COVID making itself known, the Chairman of the Fed testified before Congress that it was not wise to carry the debt the country currently had because it could curtail their ability to mitigate a recession. Little did this country know it wouldn’t be a recession to hit the country but a full fledge pandemic. And now the Republicans want to deliberately drive this country into a recession.
