I have heard of people freezing their grapes but I have never done it or tried them. I do have some grapes in the fridge now, I guess I will freeze some and try it.

I've only had them frozen in place of ice in "fancy" drinks.

I love frozen grapes on a hot day, but they have to be eaten quickly.
Once they thaw a bit, I hate the texture.

have you ever shaken them in different jello powders right before freezing them. That’s a treat! Um, no, but guess what I will be doing tonight!! I froze some watermelon balls last night, as per peabay 's suggestion. They have a higher water content so they froze harder than grapes. DS will love to use them in a fruit slushie. I'll have to try some of the other fruits mentioned next: cherries, blueberries pineapple. I’ve had them that way but I don’t like the texture if they end up thawing out. Oh I agree, but it's never a problem for me because I gobble them down very quickly, and then go back for more! I did end up using some frozen grapes in my drink the other night, because one of the kids had used all of the ice cubes and didn't refill it grrrrrrr. I ate the grapes after I finished my drink, and remembered then that I'm not very fond of thawed grapes.

I like them but haven’t done it in ages. We are in one for the biggest table grape production areas in Australia so they are always in abundance when in season.
Also live in a big orange growing area so I love freezing them in segments.

Yes, we did this often as kids growing up in Florida, great in the summer when it is so hot.

No, I've never eaten them. I don't really care for eating much of anything frozen though, sensitivity to cold and it hurts my teeth.

I've never even heard of such a thing. Maybe in Canada we aren't looking for 'extra' stuff to freeze lol.

No because they sound like a choking hazard to me.

Yes frozen grapes have always been a thing in this house. But AussieMeg have you ever shaken them in different jello powders right before freezing them. That’s a treat! This is what I do 😀

Absolutely. I think I first learned about this as a young teen on Weight Watchers, as it stretched your fruit allotment out, making it last longer. I still enjoy them today, although now I allow myself all the fruit I want!
