Thank you for the update. I am thankful that you have a good support system and are seeking counseling. What a difficult decision for you to offer your son's organs in donation. Yes, you have given others the gift of life and made other families hopeful. But, it doesn't make losing your son easier. I wish that I had words of wisdom and encouragement for you.
May the trip to Europe and being with your daughters and family bring you hope and peace in this undoubtedly difficult and emotional time.

I don’t know how I missed this update, but am glad to hear that several young moms are being there for you. Your upcoming trip sounds nice and you’ll have to post some pictures. You’ll also have to share just how much butter you injected into that delicious turkey!

I send you whatever comfort a note can give. The loss is beyond words........
Later, if you want to seek it out...there is an international support group named Compassionate Friends and it is made up of only parents who have lost a child.
Hugs and comfort as you face these difficult days ahead.
