also, for those who do believe in the vaccine, yet believe everyone has a right on what is injected into their body, i wonder what is next. what freedom of yours will be removed if you do not get the boosters every 6 months? do you know the ingredients in each of those? Has anyone had blood work done after vaccines? I would love to see the blood work. no one I talk to has presented me their blood work after the vaccines. I would love to have an open honest conversation without attacking but I find most cannot do this who are against those who choose to not get vaccinated for their own decision/health. My husband has. He was getting bloodwork every three months for several years, now six. Everything is the same as before the vaccine. But why would anyone present you with their blood work results? Do you know what the ingredients are in any vaccines you or your family members have gotten? Measles, chicken pox, influenza, polio? But here are links to ingredients in all the covid vaccines: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/faq.html?s_cid=10492:ingredients%20in%20covid%2019%20vaccine:sem.ga:p:RG:GM:gen:PTN:FY21With extremely few exceptions, if people who are vaccinated get breakthrough covid, they’re unlikely to be hospitalized. The people who are dying are unvaccinated. The people in hospitals are largely unvaccinated. The science behind this type of vaccine has been around for decades. Many people are “masked” but faces aren’t flat so air gets in and out. Unless we’re sure no air can escape - which can be tested (google) - we’re not well protected. Unless the mask is an N95 or some KN95s that have been approved, we’re not well protected, not to mention the countless people whose masks slip down on their nose when it should be at the bridge, and those who purposely keep masks below or low on their nose so they can prove they’re masked.

The the CDC is not the only source of info or data. I’ve found my own state health departments figures to be quite helpful and informative. Each week they produce these. I check it on. Friday just to keep up to date with what’s happening in my state/county. So I can make informed decisions on risk. Because I live in a state with a vaxx rate under 60%, where most people are acting like it’s all over, and have been for months. 🤷🏼♀️ Most of us understand that vaccination does not give us sterilizing immunity. We were never actually promised that either, but I digress. It does however, substantially reduce our risk in getting it, spreading it, getting sick enough to be hospitalized, or very sick and needing ICU care and/or dying from it. And the stats bear that out week after week after week. All of this. And it seems to be lost on these folks that NO infectious disease vaccine gives you sterilizing immunity. Every single vaccine we have relies to some degree on the majority of people in the "herd" having it. Reduced infection overall results in reduced opportunity for anyone to catch the disease. That's why, when a bunch of people in an area stop immunizing for measles, it's not only the unvaccinated who catch it. That's why vaccine requirements in workplaces are a matter of workplace safety and, frankly, protecting the bottom line for the company. No company can afford to have continuous outbreaks.

Also, unless you are a scientist who has overseen clinical trials and worked in mRNA research, you have not "done your research." You have read conspiracy theories online (sometimes posed as questions that seem legitimate to the uninformed, like demanding "blood work" from the vaccinated) and substituted what they tell you for the recommendations of those who have done actual research.
Medical research is not done through a Google search. You are not qualified to evaluate anyone's bloodwork with reference to whether or not they are vaccinated. You are not qualified to decide via Google that you do not put others at risk when you go to work unvaccinated. We are fortunate in this country (and in the developed world) to have lots of people who ARE qualified to make those determinations. How we got to a place where people are substituting their own Google searches for those qualifications is beyond me.

I'm so tired of the lack of respect for people who actually do have the education and experience to be experts in their field to give correct opinions. It's the dumbing down of America when we think every average Joe's opinion is as good as the next. No, your choice not to get vaccinated isn't the right choice. And yes, what AussieMeg said is quite funny. What is there to criticize about those of us who have gotten vaccines? Oh, haha, we're smart enough to follow the experts.

Exactly!! The old, I've done my own research, etc, and determined..this. blink blink? YOU did your own research..how? did you have your own lab? no, you googled searched. Yet, they discounted thousands of scientists and Drs that have devoated their lives to studying this. Yet, they will gleam some important info from Bubba's post on reddit, and take it as gospel?
In terms of the what is there to criticize about those of us that have gotten the vaccine? oooh, I've heard it all. I'm a sheep, I don't know the long term affects, why would I get something that doesn't really work (yes, I know, you don't need to explain to me, I'm telling you what THEY believe), do you believe everything they tell you? You trust the goverment? You are letting them take away your freedom, it's my body, and on and on.

I saw this quote on FB today, and it's still so applicable ... (Tommy Douglas is regarded as the 'father' of medicare ... and he's Kiefer Sutherland's grandfather, but that's not quite what got him named as 'The Greatest Canadian' in 2004 ) "We are all in this world together, and the only test of our character that matters is how we look after the least fortunate among us." - Tommy Douglas

To add to the idea that your state departments of health are also a good resource, here’s a graphic that Texas released yesterday.
