My entire family is gathering for Thanksgiving and I want to bring a few board games for us all to enjoy. Ages will range from 10-80. I have Wits and Wagers already, but wanted to add a few more.
What are some games that all ages will enjoy?

More of a card game but my parents and kids like playing Apples to Apples together. All ages can play and people who don’t like board games like it because it doesn’t take “skill”.

The people in my house (3 generations) really love playing clue. Chess is also very popular but only 2 at a time unless you have multiple sets.

I agree with Apples to Apples. We also really love Ticket to Ride.
ETA- and Ticket to Ride was on sale on Amazon yesterday!

Mexican Train- you use dominos and each person has their own ‘train’ to play on and also there’s a free train for everyone to use. It’s super easy to learn and great for little kids and up.
Sorry Rummikub- love this game! Also easy to learn and play.

Azul! It's really fun and such a pretty game: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/230802/azul10+ can definitely play. It says 14-99, but a quick tween can totally pick up on the patterns and points. It's not hard math once you learn.

I like LCR/Left Right Center for big groups. I’ve had as many as 30 playing around the table and any age can play. There’s no real skill and the game moves fast enough that even when it seems like you are losing, you can still win in the end. You can play with candy, quarters, dollars, or more.

We started playing a new card game called Skyjo. Easy enough for any age and doesn’t take a lot of concentration so you can still chat while playing.

5 Second Rule is a fun one too. They have a kid version, but the regular version is suitable for kids over 6 I think. The kid version just has more basic subjects. We played it a lot at summer camp with large groups and it was super fun.

We definitely enjoy Apples to Apples across multiple generations in my family. Also, In a Pickle and Boggle. And Hedbanz. Even my Dad, who by and large doesn't play games, will come out and play a bit of Hedbanz. Although I think he mostly enjoys laughing at everyone else. And although not all of those in the oldest generation were willing to play, they definitely enjoyed watching a few rounds of the original Pie Face being played, for that same reason, LOL!

We play Apples to Apples and Blokus on Thanksgiving. LCRRight left Center has been recommended, too, by a game playing friend.

In fact, our son is making a game room in his house and building shelves to store all of his board games.

Rummikub Apples to apples Taboo
We always laugh when playing taboo with my 80 year old parents. They can look at each other or give one word and the other one knows what they’re thinking of. It’s what happens when you know someone so well.

Second the motion on a few of those already mentioned:
Rummikub Mexican Train Dominoes Sequence
I’m not a huge fan of games, but will happily play all of these.

I'll join the Rummikub bandwagon. I think it's a great easy to learn, quick game that everyone can play. We played it a ton with our kids when they were young and their grandparents.

It depends on how many people you have, but my go-to board games for larger groups is either Sushi Go Party ( or the regular Sushi Go for 6 or less players), and Codenames. You can get both of them on Amazon and they are super easy for all players to understand and get playing.

Code names (original and Disney) are family favorites… as is Mario party (on the switch) But our new favorite is sabobatoge- it’s a card game that’s easy to learn and play, plus the images are adorable
