Sure. Don't try to converse with me after that bullshit you pulled. Until you apologize to me for calling me a racist and a sexist in lieu of articulating an opposing view point, don't expect any conversation with me. I didn't call you a racist or sexist. I stand by my post that your comment about VP Harris was offensive, I explained why without calling you sexist. And I explained the Republican perspective without calling anyone racist. The Republican premise and point of view that immigration is bad, we should close our borders, put up walls etc is not everyone's perspective. You have to say that part out loud, that you don't want people of color fleeing violence and poverty to come here.If that's how you interpreted your own words, fine. And here are just a few of the challenges to legal immigration. The typical Republican response to people fleeing violence and poverty is just come here legally without recognizing the reality and unsurmountable challenges to that. www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/why-don’t-they-just-get-lineUndocumented immigrants who want to become citizens of the United States cannot just “get in line.” Although there are some lines, many aspiring lawful permanent residents are not eligible to be in any of them. Even if an undocumented immigrant does meet the formal requirements to immigrate, the wait can be very long if the individual is applying from a country with a lengthy backlog of applications.I didn't call you a racist or sexist. your comment about VP Harris was offensive, I explained why without calling you sexist. What's that trendy meme about everything? "Tell me you're fill in the blank without telling me you're fill in the blank." In this case fill in the blank with "sexist". You insinuated. You have to say that part out loud, that you don't want people of color fleeing violence and poverty to come here. That's a racist that you're describing. You're very intentionally insinuating that I'm a racist. And saying you're offended that I would talk about what is generally accepted job descriptions for the first lady is insinuating that I'm sexist. Fine. Don't want to own up to your own words, then don't engage me ever again. If you refuse to be civil, if you hit at me I will hit back, but don't EVER expect civil discussion from me again. Ever. And you were the one to bring up the Canadian border. No I did not. You're pulling that out of your ass. I've never brought up the Canadian border. Never. Think I did? That should be very easy for you to prove.

Pixiechick, you're wasting your time arguing with someone with their fingers in their ears and blinders on their eyes. There is no point in arguing with her, she's doing a fine job of proving her complete ignorance on her own.

It always amazes me that when someone goes to slam another person they almost always either describe themselves or the person they are talking to about it as in this case. trump was a master at it. He would go after someone and end up described himself perfectly.

Speaking of showing who you are on a daily basis... You ignored that "offense" for at least 2 hours until you saw a bandwagon to jump on. I didn't jump on the bandwagon. I missed it when I read your post the first time because you were spouting more nonsense about the border and VP Harris's job & responsibilities. You still have not answered the questions, why is it important to visit the border? And if the policies are encouraging people to come, why is that bad? And you keep ignoring the facts about the Afghanistan withdrawal. Like the fact that the former president negotiated a deal and the Biden administration was stuck with a deadline. So, 17,000 interviews before August is not a reasonable expectation given the limitations set by the former administration. I'm not making excuses for her not doing her job well. I disagree with you, I'm happy with how she's doing her job. And confident that her poll numbers will rise. I was trying to explain, in part why her poll numbers are so low. And you were the one to bring up the Canadian border. I don't know why that's relevant either. And visiting either border is not an important part of her role working on immigration. It's just something the Republicans insisted on for no valid reason. Then when she did visit, they found something else to criticize. Moving goal posts again just like complaining about Biden not having a press conference. Still going with that one I see, lol. I mean...Trump made this deal with a deadline that just couldn't, under any circumstances, change the withdrawal date, ever. It was so set in stone, somehow joey actually changed the withdrawal date to 9/11! That's right, joey thought that was a good one. The date he just couldn't possibly change was changed! And then, something miraculous happened...the smartest thing around joe (I'm guessing his dog) told him changing that date to 9/11 wasn't a good idea. And WOW, next thing you know, joe changed the date, again, to August 31!

So is choking down the red Kool aid, belonging to the red hat cult, and buying into the lies of the Republican Party as it is now. Republicans do nothing for the average person, nothing for the poor, and are only interested in elevating white men and suppressing all others. Your mouth must be full up of red bullshit.

What a sexist remark to make. Not only to VP Harris but past First Ladies as well. We’re done. Oh! There it is. You found the one think you THINK you can dismiss me with. You can't dispute what I said, you're not adult enough to let opposing opinion stand, so you use smear tactics dismiss opinion you don't like. It's not about sexism, it's about what has generally been the job description. It's amazing the levels some of you will stoop to to eradicate diversity of thought, opposing opinion. Oh you poor little victim…. That comment was not only an insult to VP Harris, all First Ladies but women in general who have been and are continuing to be “put in their place” with comments like the one you made. The sad thing is you aren’t smart enough to understand that.

In the day and age, how and why do you need to actually see the border with your own eyes? There's really nothing to gain from a personal visit, Then why bother going to the other border? What was gained from it? There are 150 books about Trump. Many people are on the record. You don't need unnamed sources to document the chaos of his administration. Trump is not the president. You’re the one that brought up the other border. Since we were talking about the Mexico border, process of elimination, your statement could only refer to Canada. And for the record, she visited New Hampshire to talk about the infrastructure bill. Yes, NH shares a border with Canada, but the places she visited are 2 hours away from the border. I would not call that visiting the Canadian border. And you’re the one that brought up Trump. When someone pointed out that the CNN article was based on unnamed sources and gossip, you complained the Democrats blamed Trump based on gossip. Your reasoning is so twisted, apparently you’ve forgotten what you wrote. Or double standards. It’s OK for you to bring up President Obama or Trump, but if anyone else mentions Trump, your response is he’s not the president. Despite the fact that regrettably, he is the former president and head of the Republican Party. As much as I wish he were irrelevant, he’s not.

I'll just say this so other people who are NOT hell bent on "misunderstanding" me, will see that I was clearly not talking about Canada and WHY I was clearly not talking about Canada.
I said:
The question was about going to the part of the border where the crisis was vs. going to the part of the border that wasn't in crisis. She went to El Paso when she really needed to see the crisis. Yes, I know technically that's the same border, but in answering a barrage of questions, that's how it came out.
No one was referring to the Canadian border. And in context with KNOWING where Kamala actually DID GO and what we were talking about, I'm sure most people could have and probably did deduce that. But just in case people buy into the attempted smear job...

VP Harris also went to NH in April. Ted Cruz and Fox criticized her for going to the Canadian border. Canada makes sense in the context of your post. It was a reasonable conclusion to think you were talking about the Canadian border when you referred to the other border. The misunderstanding is not my fault, your post was not clear.

Stephen Colbert on Rittenhouse verdict: ‘If he didn’t break the law, we should change the law’ On the Monday before Thanksgiving, Stephen Colbert listed numerous reasons to be thankful this year: “personally, I’m grateful that on Friday, history was made,” when Joe Biden temporarily transferred presidential power to Vice-President Kamala Harris while undergoing a routine colonoscopy, making Harris the first woman to assume presidential power in the US. “Yes, 100 years after women got the right to vote, we finally got the first female president on a technicality,” the Late Show host said. “Turns out, this whole time, the glass ceiling was up Joe Biden’s butt.” www.theguardian.com/culture/2021/nov/23/stephen-colbert-rittenhouse-verdict-change-law
