I used to be a BIG black friday shopper. Started Thursday evening, and would shop 12-15 hours with my BFF. Some years we ended up needing two SUV's cause we filled up the first one.
The sales this year are awful - no good prices or sales! I won't be buying anything sadly unless something comes up last minute online. I've seen all the ads and am very dissapointed!

We have been looking for electronic sales. I guess the Walmart sale starts tonight at 7PM. I don’t know if that is local time or not.
We were looking for a HomePod Mini and found it yesterday on sale at Staples for $10 off. Don’t know if it will be cheaper elsewhere, but we went ahead and bought one. SO is trying to decide on whether or not to get the AirPods Pro that are on sale. I told him to not think too long.

So many shipping issues and lack of stock that retailers have no incentive to offer huge markdowns this year. Locally I've noticed that lack of sales isn't deterring the shoppers either. Stores are packed and people are buying. |

The Body Shop has 30% off. IIRC in the past it’s been 40% off, but 30 works too  They also have a promotion for $5 off a gift set for purchases over (I think it was) $60 Kohls (and other places) have Soda Stream Makers at $60, plus at Kohls’s they are doing $15 in Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent. So that makes a $100 soda stream $45. JJill is doing 30% off everything. I must have deleted the email with the code but you should be able to find it by googling. I thought I was done with Kohls, when I got the dual Keurig coffee maker Saturday for 59.99 (Org 229.00) until I saw the Soda Stream... I just ordered that. With the 15% it was 50.99, so its really 35.99 before tax. I couldn't pass that up. Thanks for the heads up on that! |

I bought a carpet cleaner for half off - so only $100 from Target bought it midnight Saturday night and it should be here today.
I haven't seen anything else to tempt me this year. The Target ad started Sunday and is huge but the actual Black Friday ad is tiny.
I am hoping that Hulu has a promotion as mine will run out and if so I will cancel mine and my husband will sign up. If not I will keep my account as I use it too much now LOL.
At this point I am done with shopping unless something really interesting pops up. I wouldn't mind getting something else for my husbands stocking but can't think of anything right now.
I will pop on the computer for online scrapbook sales as I am sure Close to my Heart is having one and probably a cyber Monday one as well but I so don't need to spend any more money. I have way too many projects to finish as it is but if there is a good sale I am sure something will land in my cart.

I've shopped at Gap, Ulta, QVC, American Eagle, Journeys, and Famous Footwear. I haven't noticed great sales, but have placed orders when I feel like it's a decent enough price. One thing I have been careful to do is link through Rakuten. I always forget to go through their links. I've really been paying attention to when they have better %s. On Friday I placed a $150 order at Gap. Rakuten gave 10% if you linked through them, so I got $15 just off that order. I have about $40 sitting in my Rakuten account just from a handful of orders.

katlady the sale starts at 7pm eastern time, but if you are a Walmart+ member it started several hours ago. Although I am wondering if they are going to "restock" all of the deals that are showing sold out online. All sizes of the sheet sets are supposedly sold out (I managed to get a set of king, but wanted a different color, but for the price I am not mad.) All of the ladies sleep sets are showing gone, and the most popular sizes of men's jeans (thankfully not as many people wear 30 length, so I scored some for DH and DS).

Talbot's has an excellent Black Friday deal. 50% off one full price item and 40% off your entire order. I've been eyeballing a $99 sweater and ordered it today to be shipped to my house. I also ordered an iPad from Apple. Sadly no deal on that. No local stores had the giant MB in stock.

I'm not sure if it's the Paperwhite model or not but she told me she got a Kindle for another cousin, it was around $50. So if it wasn't the Paperwhite I think that it might go on sale soon! |
