'Tis the season to make a list, check it (at least) twice, & find products that will be nice on future layouts or projects. Please share the items you want &/or plan to gift a fellow papercrafter. All ideas & links welcome. TFS, & happy holidays!Â

Room to store everything? I have 3 3-drawer Sterilite containers, 2 IRIS containers, and some other things. It doesn't seem like a lot, but we live in a one-bedroom apartment and my craft stuff takes up an entire shelf in our closet. I'm going to try to organize the closet over Christmas. I just wish we had more room.

A definite want (but do not need) is a Brother ScanNCut. I'm trying really hard to be on a spending freeze for a few months, so I will wait for now. A higher priority that I would consider a need would be a large electric die cutting machine. I have a Gemini Go but would love to get the Gemini Pro (but only at the sale price, lol).

Gift cards I guess? Nothing super specific is jumping out at me. Last year DH got me a Felicity Jane subscription for the year and it was nice.

Not too much so far. Vicki Boutin's Fernwood collection is the main thing right now. More Distress Inks and Oxide Inks. Storage for dies. Right now I'm in a spot where I don't really need/want anything more. I want to actually use what I have!

I'm watching this thread. I need ideas, DH keeps asking what I want. I have SO much but yet there has to be something that I haven't bought yet. My 12x24 room is quite organized.. and full..
So I need ideas!
But I'd say
Full set of inks (like distress or oxide) Sets of stamps with matching dies Sizzix Electronic machine - so much better than a manual crank Large Misti - Love it can hold a full sheet of paper Stickles - collection of colors Copic markers - they blend so well, Santa always adds to my collection in my stocking.

I shared a crafty wish list with my husband & mom.
I included: The rest of the oxide colors I need (I have full set syndrome..LOL) A couple of background dies for cards A few 3D embossing folders Waffle Flower media mat Ink Stand Small blending brushes A 5x7 Gelli plate Some finger daubers Adhesive refills Metallic watercolors Hot Foil sentiment plate
I already have most of the "big stuff" - Gemini, Scan n Cut, Silhouette, Hot Foil machine (Gemini), Minc, Misti, etc and plenty of scrapbook paper so I'm asking for more card making type stuff this year.

I like to find Stamperia and other uncommon papers on Etsy. I asked for Stamperia Sweetie. I also asked for adhesive, albums and page protectors.
I had a California collection on my Amazon wish list from last year and son got it for me, but husband ordered it this year because I forgot to remove it from the wish list.

I have some inks and regular stuff on my list, but this is my silly splurge item that I totally don't need. Crop-a-dile Multi Punch Functional www.scrapbook.com/store/ac-60000080.htmlMakes button holes, small holes to string banners, slits to thread ribbon through, etc. I just like the idea I can quickly make small holes meant for threads and ribbons.

Vicki Boutin's Fernwood collection is the main thing right now. I just got this in the mail...it is gorgeous! a large electric die cutting machine I got my gemini jr last year, and am A.M.A.Z.E.D. at how it changed my die cutting life. Toying with the idea of a manual diecut machine. Heat tool & embossing powders. My manual diecut machine died 2 weeks ago. It hasn't been used since I got my gemini, but it was doing a better job on felt, so it was out and cranking. Then clunking and not cutting... I am SO tempted to replace it! Is that totally stupid? Why would I spend big $ to replace a manual die cutter that I never use? Talk me down peas! Heat tool: mine suddenly wouldn't turn on this weekend. I've had it for 20 years and am quite fond of it! But it will go on my Christmas list if I can't fix it (plan to take it apart and give it a look over, maybe it's something simple?) Maybe some Catherine pooler inks to try them out Love mine, although I've been using my oxides the most this Christmas as I'm doing more ink blending. Copic markers - they blend so well, Santa always adds to my collection in my stocking. My conundrum: I adore my copics, but many dried out (even though I store on their side fully capped...). So I need refills. BUT, to tide me over, I was given the Ohuhu alcohol markers last Christmas. SO much cheaper. Do I bother getting refills? Do I continue with cheaper brands? I have asked for a few refills in my stocking... Got a waffle flower stencil mat for a present recently, and I LOVE IT. If you do a lot of ink blending, I think the media mat/stencil mat is well worth the purchase. Small blending brushes A 5x7 Gelli plate Some finger daubers Combine the small blending brushes and the finger daubers: I got mine off Amazon - they aren't "daubers", they are actual stencil brushes just like the fancy makeup brushes that we're all using now, but they fit on your finger tips like daubers. Love them. I too have a gelli plate on my list this year, but I'm asking for the 8x10. Oooooh, yes. That's been on my list for a few years. The ones I'm coveting are the Iuile ones like these www.etsy.com/ca/shop/IUILE?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=800583644But wow, pricey, and I'm not that big a watercolourist, so. My "big wish" would be a gemini hot foil system, but they are so expensive for a 1 trick pony. I think I'll wait.

I recently bought myself Santa is bringing me the Tim Holtz/Tonic small guillotine trimmer (it cuts up to like 6 inches). When I'm cleaning up edges on things, I find that even my medium size (8") trimmer is sometimes too big for my space. My other recent purchases are stamps from The Greeting Farm and Lawn Fawn (I really, really needed the peppermint jar add on.)

Time? Can I order Time on Amazon and have it delivered with a bow?😀
There is just never enough free time available, when i can sit & scrap without all the chores i should be doing hanging over my head.
Tangible stuff? A Brother Scan & Cut. Would be so fun.

I do a lot of blending and using layering stencils so I'm glad to hear the Waffle Flower mat is worth it! I have the Gemini hot foil system and yes it is an investment but WOW the results are just so great once you get the hang of it (and use the right paper)!! I use it so much for card making. Especially with all the new foil plates different manufacturers are making now (loving all the Pinkfresh hot foil plates!!)

Nothing. I just moved 125 boxes to my new house/scrap room and I am pretty sure that anything I might need or not need is in my room currently.

Can this also be pipe dreams? My kids have killed the enjoyment of my craft space because the older two share a bunkbed in the room above it and loud sounds trigger my anxiety. My oldest LOVES to jump off of the upper bunk and no amount of politely asking, screaming until I'm red the in face, threatening him with corporal punishment etc has worked to curb the behavior. Since the pandemic hit and we spent 24/7 in the house for 12 solid months it only got worse. When they returned to school in person in August, I still didn't find myself going to my craft space except to use my computer. So I swapped my enclosed craft space to our loft. In all of this, I retreated to our master bedroom and made myself a little crafty corner (for diamond painting, not papercrafting) and have lived there for the last 2ish years. During that time, I did notice that my middle child didn't really have a place to go. We bought the older 2 joint gifts last Christmas or the Christmas before (time is a vague concept these days) with the idea that they'd spend time together. It was a giant TV (for a 10x10ft bedroom it is insanely huge, but the plan had been to make it so they could easily see on split screen) and a ps4. It INSTANTLY became my oldest's because you can't play online with friends AND share the game...you can only split screen offline, apparently. So my middle took over my husband's ps4 (he's literally played it twice since the pandemic hit when it used to be his morning routine) in the loft. While that's been fine, he didn't have a place for HIMSELF...everywhere he went except to sleep was a common space or a room that belonged to someone else. So my oldest is being moved downstairs to my old craft space. My oldest had a medical emergency before we could even get started (step 1 was decluttering the garage and we had just gotten through the 2nd day of that when he came home having hurt his eye...the next day when it wasn't better we had to take him to urgent care and then an eye doctor and then swiftly to be admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery...he punctured his cornea, effectively blinding himself) so it delayed everything. The walls in the old craft space look like swiss cheese from all of the things I took down (some had been there before but were covered by pegboard and never got filled) and is nowhere near done since all of our plans got delayed and things that were supposed to be done by 2 people were done by me VERY slowly. By the time we reached the 10 day countdown of my mom coming for Thanksgiving I realized I couldn't get it all done and we prioritized what was necessary. She used to stay in our daughter's room but the upstairs bathroom sucks while my old craft space had a bathroom and saved her from having to take the stairs as much. What was necessary was getting as much of my crap out of there as I could. Prior to rushing the end of it, I had been bringing up a bit at a time and putting it all away before bringing up anything new so I wouldn't have piles everywhere and become overwhelmed. Ran out of time so I ended up having to do what I didn't want to do and pile stuff everywhere. She left this morning and I'm trying to put away as much as I can, but I'm having to come to terms with the fact that even with the 3ft+ high stack of 12x12 paper and a myriad of other supplies purged a few months ago, I still don't have enough space for everything. Before stuff just ended up dumped up here it was looking so good and now it looks no better than the chaos I had downstairs. I had hoped it would fit because I bought TONS of new furniture (replaced my 5x5 kallax and ancient Michael's cubbies with a 4x4, 3x4 and 2x4 kallax and added 2 new sets of alex drawers and replaced my 4 drawer malm dresser with 2 3 drawer malm dressers) and it looked like it was going to, but now I have all these odds and ends of random things that just won't fit. Another space I had planned to purge was the under the stairs closet, but it was one of the first things that got nixed from our plans. It would have been the perfect place for random items such as general crafts for home decor and random picture frames. Now they're just up here with nowhere to go. Right next to the loft is the upper half of our living room which is my dream craft space and MUCH larger than the loft. It probably won't be in the cards to turn that into a bonus room for MANY more years, but what I want is just a TINY bit more space. I just don't think I have it in me to purge anything else because the items that would be most likely to go are things that I love, just don't find myself drawn to and the products often go bad by the time I do use them (mixed media supplies are INCREDIBLY poor quality when marketed to papercrafters compared to comparable supplies for fine arts).
Anyway, that's what I want. Also maybe a 24x36in cutting mat for my new big desk in the center of the loft (my DREAM desk setup, even if a bit smaller...something I couldn't have ever fit in my old space) but I ended up buying new clothes and diamond paintings instead of papercrafting stuff, save for the Elle's Studio sale that I look forward to every year. Until I find homes for everything I have left to put away I get overwhelmed just thinking about new supplies and as excited as I am about the Elle's Studio items, I'm in no rush for it to get here because I can't put it away easily. It has a home, but it's buried by the stuff I need to put away.
Soooooo...that's it for me. A long random ramble after having essentially dropped off the face of the earth for the past 2 years and who knows when I'll be back after this, lol.

I have been doing a little reshuffling lately, and there is nothing like a reorganization to make you realize just how much stuff you have!! 😳

These are the ones I have, and they are awesome. They’ve totally upped my stencil game I bought so much stuff when Covid hit and I started crafting more, I don’t need anything. But someday I hope to get an electronic cutter, probably a Brother Scan n Cut for stamped images and print-and-cut digital elements. I also now want that We R Multi punch
