sleepingbooty has designed a wonderful list of photo prompts to keep us clicking throughout December.
Please share your photos here. Then go on to play with them. Maybe you are creating a DD now. Or you plan to scrap the holidays in some other format. Maybe you will share in other ways on social media or communications with friends and family. If you plan to scrap them in January there *might* just be a challenge to earn points for that  .
But before you can do that: you need to TAKE THAT PHOTO!!!
No need to take them in order, or one every day. Just try to get a pic that represents each of the prompts.

As the challenge says, you can take--and share--the photos in any order. And sleepingbooty has given us the whole list so we can do that. But I think I will copy and paste the daily photo prompts each morning, in case they spark inspiration. December 1st: Starry-eyed //
Photo prompt: To welcome the amazing month of December, capture a photo that renders the starry-eyed magic of the season. Think of stars as the shape (cookie cutters, cut-outs for scrapbooking, sequins, etc.) or as the symbolic imagery for the awe the holidays can inspire (a close-up of loved ones experiencing some kind of seasonal magic like fresh snow flurries or discovering the Christmas lights). |

My take on day 1 is probably a bit different than most. My oldest has a primary immune deficiency - common variable Immunodeficiency, and is on weekly subcutaneous IgG infusions. This magic blood product med allows dd to enjoy the wonders of the season. It allows her to not be bedridden. It allows her to be in college, go to the movie, decorate the tree, and be alive and well. People who donate plasma are the true stars in the world. Not those celebrity stars. They give a twinkle to dd's eyes. We are forever grateful to those who donate plasma.  |

@sunnycamom, I love your take on this prompt. I have family members who donate plasma. So glad that it really helps your DD. My stars are a little different also. These wooden stars are made on a table saw. They are made in six long pieces which are glued together into a long wooden piece. They are then cut like you would cut a jelly roll, into 3/8" slices. The reason they are so special to me is because they were made by my husband who has been legally blind for the past 4 years. He is slowly losing the little sight he has left, but I am amazed at what he can accomplish in his wood shop. These stars are priceless to me and our children and grands.  Steve's Stars |

Not sure why this photo would piss somebody off, @sunnycamom. It's a life in a vial and twinkle lights in the background.  Love that bokeh effect, by the way, and how you tied in the theme. So good to have included glimpses of your seasonal décor with the stockings and candy canes. Very well captured.  |

The reason they are so special to me is because they were made by my husband who has been legally blind for the past 4 years. He is slowly losing the little sight he has left, but I am amazed at what he can accomplish in his wood shop. These stars are priceless to me and our children and grands. Oh wow, nylene! That is incredibly impressive.  Your husband did a wonderful job with these and I totally understand why they are priceless. They are such a statement about perseverance and determination. And they're gorgeous. Such Scandi vibes! Will you be hanging these in the tree? My compliments to the artisan woodworker. |

I'm claiming #19 Hope with my photo today. Wanted to document getting my booster shot this morning and there was a bright pastel Christmas tree in the observation area where they keep you for 15 minutes after you've had your shot. Serendipity!  |

Are you feeling better? Ps: shouldn't you blur people's faces? One's blurred. The guy in the background is barely recognisable between the mask, his glasses and the photo resolution (photo size posted here is fixed so you can't zoom without loss). Feeling a bit better after my evening nap. The headache has gone down which I'm really grateful for. Thanks for asking.  |

nylene - those stars are beautiful! And to know he makes those with so little vision - amazing! @sunnycamom - I don't know why anyone who have an issue with your picture. Sounds like a lot of over-reaction to me. ((((Hugs))) An excellent choice for the prompt sleepingbooty - perfect for Hope

sleepingbooty , your photo is the best for Hope. I think we all hope for a brighter 2022 with more and more people vaccinated. Great photo. Such a nice place to wait with the warmth of a Christmas tree. Sorry to hear you have had a headache. I hope you are feeling better and that it stays away.

11. First - I got my first Christmas card from the 2 Peas card exchange, from lisae  25. Open - I went to the shopping centre to get some Christmas decorations, and took a photo of this statue (open book) 
29. Reflection - I tried to take a photo of a duck and her ducklings, but they were too far away. I got the reflection of the trees and clouds on the lake instead.  30. |

I want to tell a story about the star on top of my Christmas tree. I can't decide if I want the daylight picture or the night picture. Isn't it so interesting how light changes the tone of a photo?! I love both. The day light photo is happy and bright. The night time photo is elegant and warm. |

I'm cheating a little bit because I didn't actually TAKE my photo today - but I asked DD21 to take it for me because it both fits the prompt and fits a story I want to tell in my December Documented album. There are stars on my Advent calender but it's also special because DH found it and bought it for me as a surprse AND because Advent calenders were an important tradition when I was a child  |

Again, no need to do these in order, but thought I would post sleepingbooty 's prompt for Day TWO... December 2nd: FRAME
Look around and see how many frames appear around you. Life presents itself through settings and structures that highlight what is unfolding. Shop windows framing special holiday displays, a window perfectly encasing December weather, an open door revealing a cosy scenery to come home to. Shoot a photo of something coming into focus through a frame. It can be literal (your decked-out mantle with framed photos of loved ones) or visually interpretative. |

Here are two for today's challenge Frames:   Ds and I went to our cities first Post Office, completed in 1933 under President F.D.R. There is a museum in one area and the post office itself is listed as a U.S. Historic Site. Ds mailed off my international cards. Love the metal work above him that even says USPO. |

I took a photo today of snowfall outside our window: no way your ds would be wearing a tee and shorts in that. Need to find my phone so I can post my photo later.

Southern Ca is having a warm, dry winter 👎🏻 Usually by now our local mountains have snow and it is wet and cold. It is currently dry with highs of 84-86°. Blah! |
