I just read that over 70% of people buy their pet a gift, so I’m in good company!😁
Our cats are getting a couple of those battery operated flopping fish. I’m hoping they won’t just be afraid of them and avoid them! The dog is getting a snuffle mat which would have been pretty anticlimactic until I remembered to buy some small treats to hide in it. I think she’ll love it!
What did you get your pets?

Organic chicken jerky and a few toys. Plus lots of prime rib juice and other treats.

We got our golden retriever a rope pull toy to share with his friend. The shihtzu loves treats, so he got freeze dried chicken bites. The golden had a holiday sleepover at his black lab friend’s house last night.

I bought a bed shaped like a gingerbread house that I already put out. It has been a big hit. Christmas morning I will pull out some new catnip bananas from my stash.

We’ve tried just about every toy for our cats and they just aren’t into any of them. They are getting an automatic pet feeder you can set via an app.
Our grand-puppy (my sons dog) is getting a bark box subscription.

I got my grand kitties (son's cats) some scratching posts, some felt mice, and some little spring toys. I don't have grandchildren, so it's something for fun at the holidays. It's more for me and my son than them. But I hope they enjoy them.

The cats are getting one of those mats with the spinny thing underneath, a bubble gun because the kitten loves to watch me wash dishes and tried to get the suds and another bag to treats.
The dog is getting a box of treats and a new squeaky toy. We take bets on Christmas morning to see how quickly she tears the squeaker out

The cat isn’t getting anything. She’s 21, has arthritis, and is on a restricted diet for kidney disease. Toys and treats are out so… there’s really nothing else lol Otto is getting a bunch of treats and chews that he normally would anyway but they are going in his stocking. He’s ridiculously spoiled on a daily basis, so this is hardly being Grinchy to him

It doesn't get very warm, just warm enough but no risk of burning or injury even if they spend all day in it.

A new toy container after reading the thread on those. She has a round plastic tub that has all of her toys. She can't find things, so we bought a cute basket that will house her new toys and a few favorites.
My mom always buys her toys too.

I got a small bucket of toys at Kohl’s. That’s it. They got beds last year. Long story, but one of them tore them up. We now have 3 dogs, we inherited my late fil’s dog. He doesn’t really have an interest in toys.

We have an older cat who was never interested in playing, so every Christmas and birthday he gets a new bed or blanket.

She sleeps either on her bed that’s right in front of the fireplace, or cuddled up to one of us (preferably DS).

I had planned to make my own chicken tenders for our dog, my SIL's dog and my BIL's dog. they take about 6 hours in the oven, cooked on a very low heat. But then I remembered that I had to make a pavlova, which has to sit in the oven overnight to cool. So no home made treats for the doggies this year. We just gave Boris a store bought chicken tender, and chicken and peanut butter chew. We also bought him a matching Christmas Hawaiian shirt to wear in the family photos on Christmas Day, but for some reason he doesn't seem very excited about that!

We got the yellow lab a couple Chuck-it balls to replace the ones he wrecked but I may have forgotten where I hid them, LOL. The poodle still hasn’t worked her way through the bag of special chew treats she got LAST Christmas because the other one always steals them from her. I was going to make her a new fleece sweater but ran out of time after sewing four pairs of PJ pants, six bowl cozies, a pocket scarf and two hats. Honestly if we put some shredded cheese in her bowl she won’t even notice she didn’t get any gifts.

We got 2 new kitties from a rescue this summer, so they are young-ish (about a year and a half old now). They are getting a super cushy bed to share and a crunchy tunnel and a ball/track toy and a bag of treats.
