I asked for an electric foot massager for Christmas. Between me and ds2, the device has been in almost continuous use since opening it.
Being on my feet all day teaching has made the neuropathy in my feet much worse, and I was craving some additional relief. The massager is awesome. It also has heat and my feet are cold from September through June, so this is heavenly. My younger son with Osteogenesis Imperfecta has been fighting me for time in it all day. 😀

Ds got his first cell phone so he’s in heaven, nothing else really matters 😆
I got my Apple Watch (it’s been here for awhile but I was patient)…..open to tips/apps/accessories/etc.

My oldest gifted me the Echo Park Christmas Salutations 12x12 collection pack. Total surprise! It was so nice to be thought of, and to be "known" so well in that moment, because I am actually out of previous holiday scrapbook stash, and I love sb stuff.

I got the air fryer toaster oven I've been wanting. DH wrapped my old & partially broken toaster oven (only one side heats) and had me open that. He knew I'd then immediately run into the kitchen to see what was in it's place, so he unveiled it by pulling away the sheet he had placed over the archway into the kitchen. :-)  Love it! Everyone is quite happy with their gifts too and we've had a lazy day of eating, movie-watching, napping, reading, zooming with relatives, playing with DS's cat...now cooking dinner (roast duck for a change; prime rib is tomorrow). |

We don’t exchange a lot of gifts - but my brother just moved to Vegas and they just had the huge rodeo/cowboy convention. My dad has been watching Yellowstone and my brother bought him a Stetson cowboy hat and he LOVES it lol.

My DH, (that never buys me gifts) bought me two this year. A really nice shirt and …. This Karl Lagerfeld Paris coat. www.vonmaur.com/Product.aspx?ID=1837621&pos=11<=3&pg=1I’m an Eddie Bauer kind of gal, but this coat is simply amazing. It’s beautiful and I love it. The very best part is that I have been very overweight/obese most of my life and after this last, very long year, I’m now a normal weight. This coat is a size medium and fits beautifully. And the blouse is a small! It was a really lovely way to end the year. Plus, he told me to go and buy one new piece of really nice clothing a month - but - I have to get rid of one size x-large clothing.  I totally am one board with that! |

(all you spread sheet markers, mark down that I like some alcoholic beverages. ) DH got me 2 bottles of Molly's Irish Cream (which he knows I love). He included 2 bottles of a wine I like........ So, we are ready for the New Year! BTW, if you have never made an ice cream float with Irish Cream, do try it. Scoop of vanilla ice cream, pour some Molly's over it and serve. Quite tasty. |

DS16 dropped his cynical eye rolling for a full 15 minutes and was thrilled with the obscure music t-shirt we got him.
I exaggerate a bit, he had a great day and was super happy and thankful, but it was a blast to have him open that gift first and set the tone for the day.

An AeroGarden!
Hubby noticed just how many fresh herbs I buy during winter! Lol
Two beautiful rings, a huge citrine and a gold topaz.
Several gift cards that require a day trip which is awesome.
Boss had delivered yesterday (he officially has covid!) a rare plant, a gorgeous pair of clippers, a GC to one of the best restaurants in town, and an envelope of cash! A total surprise! He was super generous this year.

Ds was thrilled to receive Lego Luigi and was shocked to open the Mario Kart Rainbow Bridge race track! Total surprise and he loves it.
Dd was given a bee necklace that goes with a bee adoption. She loves her engraved Fossil watch that dh and I gave her. Oh and her new WWF calendar that has a sloth one month.
I love the retired Hallmark Peanuts ornaments dh gave me (1996 and 1999). Oh and my new KC Chiefs fuzzy socks!
Dh loves his new wallet, Braves WS Champs banner, and Buffalo Bills items I put in his stocking.

Gift win for me was an anti fatigue mat for in front of my sink. My mom wasn’t too excited about buying it but I wanted one desperately!
Biggest hit for me giving was a framed photo of my husband and son playing the piano together. He cried when he opened it. It was a last minute gift, the print of the photo arrived on Christmas Eve so I was cutting it close!

I bought DH a three lions t-shirt so he can be a proper England supporter. Odd coincidence, an old friend of his from high school that he had lost touch with contacted him a few days ago. His friend has lived in England for many many years, so DH took a picture of himself in his new shirt to send to his buddy.

My son was super surprised with the heated sweatshirt. It has a usb port charger and even has a slot to charge his phone when he is outside hunting or fishing.
Dgs loved his SONY headphones that do many things. He was surprised with a "pink $$" ($50. Cdn - We have coloured money).
Ddil really liked the "spa" kit that I put together, especially the stuff from Lush.
Dgd was thrilled with a card shuffler for card games, the new UNO game and a box of chocolates that are UNO themed. I also gave her a special cardboard box (TJ Maxx) filled with all kinds of magazines, craft kits and so much more. She determined that it would be her "favourite things" box. I was trilled when she put in the soft dolly that I gave her the day she was born.
I also gifted the family with a beautiful wooden charcuterie board that was made from re-claimed wood. A windstorm a few years ago felled some big trees. The wood was re-claimed by a local wood-worker and they are beautiful. I also gave them a Prime Rib roast, a large Beef Tenderloin and 1/2 of the fresh turkey that I cooked yesterday. Everything was cryo-wrapped. Their freezer is now full for the winter.
My son gifted me with a beautiful necklace that has an opal in the center surrounded with small diamond chips. October is his birthday and April was his sister's birthday. The biggest surprise was that the gift receipt had the date of 17/11/21, meaning that this was a thought-out gift (purchased in October) and not a last minute find. I love that boy (man) so much.

I bought a Little Live Pet Pig on a whim for my 44 yo DD. She has been pig crazy since she was 13 years old. And no, we never got her one. She laughed when she opened it and it was played with the rest of the night. Kids and adults had to walk her, give her a bottle and pet her!!!! DD is a Daycare director and I really thought it would be cute in her office.

My 21 month old got a play kitchen with some play food…and the fridge has a fake ice dispenser! Anyway, she is obsessed with this thing and even wears an apron and chef’s hat with it.

Well, we have had fun playing w/Alexa all day. I got an Echo dot. That started w/my first gift to open. It was a smart light bulb. I looked at it and looked puzzled. Of course, it led to my echo. This is the gift I never knew I wanted until I used it. I also got a Samsung watch. I knew I was getting it. I'll use it well.
I made 3 mistakes w/gifts for yds. Luckily, he has a great sense of humor and is a trouper. We'll fix the big mistake tmw and that's not our fault. We have a package that is lost in shipping.
Big hits of the day are two Duncan yo-yo's. I got them for the guys as stress busters when they're studying. I also got what I thought were mini Jenga sets for them, but they turned out to be regular size. Still when you're stressed Jenga can take your mind off of your troubles.
I know it sounds corny, but the best gift I could ever have is sitting in my family room right now. All of my guys are here and I'm a happy woman today. They're both on their way to successful careers and that is the thing that makes me the happiest.

I got my DH a Lego Millennium Falcon and he had no clue! He always guesses his gifts so I was so proud I pulled this off. He spent four hours building it this afternoon and I helped sort pieces. Got a little over half way done.
Got my DD some thermal shirts and pants along with wool gloves and socks because she works outside. I knew it was something she wouldn’t buy herself.
Bonus DD#1 was excited that I got her a tshirt she had been wanting for three years!
Bonus DD#2 got two boxed sets of books. She said she wasn’t doing anything but reading for days!
They all did great on my gifts too! I got some new cookware, knife set, kitchen scale, cheese slicer, skull ring, a classic Spirograph and a crystal growing set that I loved when I was a kid. Some makeup and scrapping supplies too!

DH purchased a plot of Scotland land to make me a Lady. (Among other amazing gifts.)
LOL.
It's awesome.
Maybe I would have preferred an upgrade on my engagement diamond. No worries. He continues to be lovey and surprise.

I purchased 5 blowup floating crocodile pool toys for the children of my nieces.
The pool looked like a swamp today and MUCH fun was had by all!
