-use an embossing folder at least 4 times I like your idea of using a technique or tool. I think I will pull out something I haven't been using, too. Thanks!

My goals for this month are pretty simple to ease back into the new year. I want to:
* finish my DD * stay frozen * work on either my 2021 PL or start my 2022 album.

Happy New Year! For some of you it's already 2022! I have a busy crop month. I have 2 day crops next weekend, followed by a 4 day retreat the following week. I have put a couple of photo themes aside for each and am in the process of choosing product to use. The 4 day retreat I am going to do Christmas photos just for this year and I have so many I have to do it to get them out of the way.
I thought I might have a new granddaughter tonight but DIL is being sent home for now. She is not due until Feb 14th but she has just spent 3 days in the hospital while they worked to stop labor. They would like her to try to go another week or two, but my guess is I will be wanting to do new baby photos!
Goal for 2022 - crop as often as I can and keep new granddaughter's book up to date when she gets here.
Wish for 2022 - that I might have an organized crop room and finish some albums that are more than half done but I never got back to them.
Plan for the above - none. I have no idea how I would accomplish my wish list. But maybe a faerie will come and sprinkle glitter on me and it will happen!

Happy New Year!
Goals:
Order both Nov & Dec 2021 photos.
Try to catch up on 2021 photos. Somewhere during the year I lost my thread, and pretty much from Spring on I don't have most of it scrapped.

I'm planning on finishing my 2021 Countdown to Christmas album (maybe this weekend since we're supposed to get several inches of snow?!). The surprise trip my BF took me on ended up being at/in Frankenmuth (which has the largest Christmas store in the world + was still decorated for the holidays) so I will be including those photos/pages in this album vs. scrapping them separately.
I also need to create 2 more pages for our Florida Fall Break trip album so it has the minimum pages to be printed at Shutterfly. I don't have any other ideas/photos that need to be scrapped so I will need to be a little creative there.
I bought an OLW notebook a couple years ago and am finally using it this year. I'm planning on writing something(s) I'm grateful for every day in the calendar section for each month and need to come up with some monthly goals this weekend.

My main goal is to keep up to date with Project Life. I got off to a cracking start last year, but then my MacBook died and I didn't do even one more PL page from Feb - Dec.
I want to do 1SE again this year, I've been doing it every year, but the last two years have been a bit boring because we've been in lockdown so many times. Most of my videos are of me walking the dog.
I really should get back to my Vietnam 2017 album. I don't think I did a single layout for it in 2021. I've bought some new templates that I want to use for it. I hope they look okay with the other templates I have been using up until now.
I also plan to do every Sketchy Saturday. This one isn't a stretch, I always do them all anyway!
And one more tedious goal, it to finish organising my 2021 miscellaneous photos. I let that slide about halfway through the year. I need to rename them to include the date and also keywords. This will make it easier when I eventually get around to completing PL 2021.

My goal for January is to finish my 2021 album - I've only got a couple of spreads to complete.
I haven't scrapped in months because I am an event-based scrapper and with Covid, I pretty much caught up and had nothing to scrap. But with Christmas having just passed, I do have some spreads I'd like to make.
I'm not going to start on a 2022 title page or album until I have some photos to work with - I'm not feeling super confident for the month of January as I think we're going to be going back in to a lockdown here in the UK. We shall see how it goes - it might be February before I have anything to scrap from this year.

I’m keeping my goals small so I actually have a chance of fulfilling them.
2022 Scrappy Goals
1. Finish December Daily 2021. This was my 1st time doing DD & it has been a lot of fun.
2. Make & donate 300 cards for Cards for Kindness. (With thanks to Joblackford for posting about her creations for this organization). I have issues trying to purge and/or use up my scrapping hoard. I’m hoping this will get rid of some of the stash & get some creative juices flowing in me to use up even more.
3. Finish redoing a travel album of a trip I took when I was 17. It is 2/3 done. I did NOTHING on it in 2021. I just need to sit myself down & get back into it. My room will be much easier to work in once I can put all my travel papers & embellies away. I also feel confident that I’ll at least be able to purge those trip specific papers & embellies that don’t get used up.
4. Do a December Daily 2022. This will be a focused album on my Christmas baking. 20 recipes, with one recipe plus photo(s) per page plus another 5-11 pages of how & why this tradition got started, the lore, family history, recipe wars... It will be tons of work so I anticipate working on it over the course of a year.

I have another goal to add..... Every January at The Lilypad, they do MOC ( Month of Challenges). Every day throughout January there is a new scrapping challenge posted. If you do all 31 challenges you win a $20 gift card. I doubt very much that I will even some close to doing all 31, but if I can do 20 I will be happy.

Mid month check in: * finish my DD done!* stay frozen still frozen so far and not feeling like I'm missing out on anything* work on either my 2021 PL or start my 2022 album. I've been working on an older album instead, so even though it's not what I planned, I still feel like I'm making really good progress this month.Overall I'm pretty happy with how I'm tracking this month. There's always a part of me that is a little bit surprised when I review the goals I set as I tend to post them here and then go on my merry way and do whatever I feel like without considering what I'd hoped to achieve

This past week I was able to get my crafty stuff I got for Christmas entered in Evernote. I also labeled and put away new stamps & dies. I also got my pictures printed for Sept-Dec of last year - yay! I'm going to a scrapbook retreat at the end of the month and I have a list of the larger projects I want to scrapbook while there:
Beach Trip 2021 Christmas 50th birthday
I also have at least 15 page kits I put together with paper & photos and want to try to knock some of those out as well when I finish the larger projects above.
The only real crafty thing I have done this month was make a Valentine's Day card (yeah just one card.....LOL). I have a couple of more I need to make.

Earlier this week I received my November & December photo prints.
Today I meant to jump right into them, but I wanted to finish my last zoo trip (Halloween themed) first.
Well good news... Did finish Halloween-y zoo pics.
Yay!
But... Only just started to scrap Christmas stuff. Just barely started making a cookie baking layout.
And.... I realized that I still have some zoo pics from September unscrapped, but in protectors in the album.
So, did several layouts today, and ant to do more, but can't just scrap.

kmage you can change the size the image will appear from flickr before you copy the link across. On the pop up with the bbcode there is a drop down box directly below the link you copy with all the different sizes. Choose your size then copy the link. I typically use one of the Medium sizes but if you play around you'll see what size you like for sharing. This is a really pretty take on her page, I've left you love in the gallery.
