Very pretty cadoodlebug. Would have taken me more than four hours!
Made valentines with my dgs this weekend. Have a couple of cards of my own to put together, and then hopefully get back into scrapping this week. Will also be making up some page kits to take to my ds’s when I go to stay with dgk’s the following couple of weeks.

It is so interesting, I had this kit that I just could not make myself cut into (a Carta Bella one) but when I scrap along with her, I just hack into it! I think I just need to see someone else do it, lol and that is not like me. Cut it, cut it, cut it! LOL! But seriously, as much as I like to stroke the pretty things (I'm looking at you, too, yarn), I love to actually use them to create more pretty things. So don't even hesitate! Use it up! paget, I love your spread. Did you use the digital kit or the physical kit? I'm liking how much journaling you were able to work into your spread. I am a handwriter so I can never get that much text onto a card. I like how you did. cadoodlebug, that card is amazing! I cannot believe how much effort went into that. Your painter DH is going to love it. I cropped with a friend on Saturday and I was able to get my 2021 PL album done! Whew! Now onto 2022!!!!

Thank you jeremysgirl. It is physical kits and old cards Ive had since like 2014 when I last did PL lol. I am not techy enough for anything digital. I usually have some handwriting and some printing (on his page there is handwriting behind the flip page). I use the “high tech” method of printing my journaling on a regular sheet of paper and then attaching the cards over the printing and running the paper through the printer again. Lol I also have the big clear Avery labels and sometimes print on those and then attach to the card. Just depends on how much I have to say and how much time I want to spend!

I cropped with a friend on Saturday and I was able to get my 2021 PL album done! Whew! Now onto 2022!!!! WTG!!! Bet that feels good! I think the pressure of being "caught up" is the main reason I don't scrap PL. I often scrap the most recent photos, but then I will go back and grab ones I missed from last season, or whenever, usually in response to a challenge or prompt here or somewhere else.
Finally added Tapatalk…seeing if I am able to add a picture. If it works, this is my PL from last week. The bottom right has a 4x6 flip pocket page
Welcome to Tapatalk! Love how your pages give "the whole picture"--lots of different angles and views in the photos, and so much detail in the journaling. These will be awesome books to look at in the future.

I am doing more piddly Dollar Tree crafting and organizing than scrapping. But the rest of this month and next month, I plan to kick butt and finish many scrapbook pages and cards. As that one character, who I can’t remember the name of says “I Have A Plan!”! I will make you somewhat proud jeremysgirl!

I will make you somewhat proud You are too funny. I probably spend a bit of time crafting each day, however, I spend a good chunk of it crocheting (thank goodness for other crafts points). Don't worry about pleasing me, do it because you love it. Can't wait to see what you do.

I haven't done as much as I would have liked. I have spent a lot of hours organizing and getting photos and paper together so I have packets ready when I have time to scrapbook. I also did 4 double page layouts with my friend a few weeks ago. But I need to somehow remind myself that I can work on things in the evening rather than waste time on my phone or TV. I actually am going to make a point of that tonight. Even if I put finished pages in an album while watching the Olympics, that is something.

Hey, thanks for checking up, jeremysgirl ! I've gotten a fair amount accomplished - not as much as I'd like, but some. I was at a mini-crop 2 weekends ago (1/2 day Fri + 1/2 day Sat) and got 6 pages completed. I also finished my Christmas pages that I had started before that. I have not shared any of these in the gallery except the very first Christmas page, so I've got some "sharing" to do, LOL! I've also spent some time on organizing, which makes me happy. I sorted through all of my mats & mat-sized jounaling boxes and reorganized them to work better for me. I labeled the groupings so I can find things easier, and separated them into slightly different storage containers that are open on top instead of having them mostly in one (closed-top) photo box with the excess in random separate containers mixed in with my 6x6 pads. ( Gee, wonder why I wasn't finding things easily??? LOL) Finally, I moved the 2 smaller new open-top bins to a more convenient spot - these contain all of my plain CS mats in one and all of my themed mat stacks in the other. I moved them to my little side table in place of the spot where I used to keep a tray of my most-used punches so now they're much easier to access, and I don't have to root around in the 6x6 containers looking for things. The tray of most-used punches moved to the spot where the old closed photo box of mats previously lived. It's a relatively small change but it makes such a difference. The side benefit is now all of my punches are on the same shelf - plus I now have an empty photo box! I'm working on scrapping a set of photos from a beach trip this summer that I started at the mini-crop, and would like to get through all of those this quarter, as well as **maybe** working on a cross-stitch project I started a year (!) ago. Not sure what else but enjoying the process! I have no idea what my points total is to date, as I have fallen behind on keeping track - so that is also on my "to do" list.

Thanks for checking in! I was pulling paper for March's BOBW kit, and I found a bunch of coffee themed paper that I forgot I had. So I am going to try and make some cards with it, and maybe donate them.

I've slacked a little the last couple of weeks...I've been so busy at work, by the time I'm home, my brain is mush and I just need to zone out. But I have some stuff done and marked off on my sheet. And, the next 4, yes 4, weekends I have scrappy plans I will have plenty to share and tally after that!!! This weekend is a crop at our local LSS, and the next 3 weekends are sleepover retreats. I cannot wait!!!

We are now halfway through quarter 1 and how is everyone doing? Is everyone moving along? Accomplishing their goals? Lost your mojo? How goes it? Right now in this moment, yes, I've lost my mojo. My space overwhelmed me this weekend, just too much crap and not enough room. And I tried to fix it and it just...looks better but isn't fixed. It's so frustrating, I haven't even sat at my desk since Saturday, which is highly unusual for me.

I’m doing well. I’m up to date with 2022 project life. Finished my 2021 memory planner. My goal planner was up to date as of 2 weeks ago and then fell off. Now I have to decide how I want to do that going forward. I was tracking my points here but then stopped. I can easily tally up though. I need to look through those challenges because I know I’ve done some of those things. It’s hard for me to track time spent though because I do a lot of puttering. I enjoy the process and kind of drag it out. Lol

Just like destined2bmom, I have a plan, too, jeremysgirl, but after working caring for a crazy bunch of patients just waking up from surgery (or is that patients waking up crazy from surgery, or maybe it’s patients waking up from crazy surgeries!-still not sure), and trying to catch up on life on theweekends, I have finished just one decor project, and halfway through two different two page layouts in 6 weeks. But, I have a plan, maybe somewhere………?

I'll be working on my January spreads. I didn't take many pics other than my vacation. So it shouldn't be too bad.

Was thinking about it being halfway through February; hadn't even thought about it being halfway through the quarter already!
This time of year is usually my most productive as far as scrapbooking goes. And I have been insanely motivated by the challenge I set myself to complete 50 LO's before I can buy any new scrappy supplies. Almost there...
Managed to finish my Christmas album earlier this month, and I have been madly trying to catch up on pages I wanted to finish for last year, b/c I am leaving tomorrow to stay with a couple of dgk's for a couple of weeks, and know I will have lots to scrap from THAT. Have my camera battery charged, and am taking scrappy supplies with me to keep me occupied while the boys are in school.
Will need to print some photos during the time I am there--both some of the ones I take plus ones my other kids' families have been sending me. Have tried to select supplies that will go with those. Lots of hockey photos, so I have cs in team colours packed, too.
Maybe before me trek back, I will have finished my 50 and be able to stop at some of the LSS's en route!
Good to hear from so many sisters. Hoping those with mojo can maintain it, and those who are without can find some. Have been really enjoying seeing all the pages and cards in the Gallery and in the Sharing thread. Yay, SISTERS!

My patients are almost always so good natured and happy to finally get through surgery and that Covid seems to be improving, and we always find something to laugh about. It’s just a shame so many have had to put off what is deemed elective surgery but would have made their lives easier and less painful because of this sad pandemic! Only occasionally do I get the really awful paint or family members. Days are just long with the higher number of surgeries on the books. Thank goodness for “bathroom breaks” where I get to sneak in a peak and see what’s going on over here on the boards! LOL Saturday will be an organizing day in the kitchen and scraproom and play day on Sunday, and hopefully those two poor layouts will get finished and shared. Take pity on them for they have been languishing on the scrap table for 6 weeks now (see how I use the word “languish” in a sentence from a separate board post!)

Oh, I am glad to hear that that this isn't causing you stress. I'm also glad to hear that you work in elective surgery instead of with Covid patients. My MIL is retired but still works part time in day surgery and she has been busy, busy. They've been so busy now pulling out of covid, she's almost working full time and they gave her a huge raise to her daily rate even though she's no longer considered a staff nurse. I forget what they call nurses there who come in periodically. Normally, she's just a fill in but lately, they have needed her more.

I almost have this current week done - just waiting until tomorrow to finish since we are doing something tonight. Maybe I could try to get my goal planner back into shape. 😂
