I got 11 cards made last night for the Valentine's Day exchange. Going to work on some more when dd is done with her college class/work (Biology - ecology, the environment and economy. Quite an interesting class when I listen in. A rehab environment biologist is on right now talking about her job)
I ordered some more pocket page inserts (9×12) last month and they arrive today! One pack is the solid 9x12 size so I can work on the title pages for the kids albums. Decides to do 2020-2022 in each album. So going to have the year dates next to a pic of each kid for the year. Want to work on those tonight.

I have to update my points- I haven’t been keeping track on the thread for a couple weeks but I have been getting things done. I finished my 2021 memory planner, and I’m up to close to up to date on my PL 6x12 album and goal planner. I’m planning on some scrapping tomorrow and Saturday.

How are you all doing? What have you been crafting? What's next on your agenda? I'm buying more than scrapping. Hahaha...I just put in an order for more distress oxides and inks. And I got a cute stamp for my Disney world vacation. I also talked to a friend and we have set aside a week from Saturday to scrapbook together. I'm pretty excited about that. |

My Christmas album has been a roadblock for me, but I just finished it! Looking forward to some fresh photos! I did DD this year for the first time and I can definitely say that by the end, I was officially tired of Christmas.  I'm moving slow too as I still have October 2021 PL to finish up. I think mentally I'm just done with 2021, so it's hard to move backwards. haha! |

I spent the weekend cleaning up and organizing my craft/scrap room/office ~ something I have been threatening since we started the challenge! The before picture is embarrassing because I tend to use the room as a *closet* and it gets nasty! My worktable was so jammed packed with stuff that I started using my ironing board! As of right now I’m considering not doing one this year….but I also said that last year. Your room looks amazing, cadoodlebug! Now I want to come and mess it up . I spent alot of time organizing and sorting and putting stuff away in here this past week, but my room is still nowhere near as tidy as yours. And I put a page together today, so there is already stuff strewn around. Trust me, now that I'm ready to get back to my layouts, it will be a mess soon! But I'm trying to keep it contained to my table! The room looks great, but I also understand how the mess creeps in again so quickly! My kids interrupt so often that I have projects and the mess left out until I can get to them again |

I only do pocket scrapbooking so the challenges really aren't for me. I know there are several in our group who also don't do traditional scrapbooking. |

And I still need to make one for dh. I’ve done a few of the challenges for some past albums I’m working on, but my time this month to craft has been minimal compared to January. I’m hoping to do a few this weekend and complete my 2018 album along with it! Not sure I’ll get all of the 28-4-28 challenges since my current album is POcket pages and I want to finally get started on that! Enjoy your time with family and making those valentines! |

How is everyone doing on 28-4-28? I really hope it's going well and traditional scrapbookers are really enjoying it. I haven't peeked into the threads yet to see what you're all doing. I only do pocket scrapbooking so the challenges really aren't for me. I know there are several in our group who also don't do traditional scrapbooking. Oh you will have to take a peek. There are lots of challenges that could be met in PL spreads—themes and colours come to mind. And some could be met on a single PL card if you had one or made one with the required element. Even if you can’t meet the full challenge, there are still the twist to grab a couple points—stitching or stickers or hearts… I am always amazed by how pocket scrapbookers can get everything organized onto a page. My photos never work for the orientation, and I can never seem to get a nice balance between photos and ornamentation. |

Do these challenges have to be done on the day they are assigned? Oh no. We have all quarter to complete them. And if you complete all 28 by the 31st of March, you can claim the bonus of 280 points! And if you can finish more than one of them on one LO, you can claim them for points both for that project and toward your bonus. |

If you can do them both on one LO, go for it! Points count for both on that project, so check ‘em both off the list, and as long as you finish all 28 challenges by the end of March, you earn the 280 pt bonus. |

How is everyone doing on 28-4-28? I was able to do one as a card! Day 3 I believe. Looking at day 9 as I love CP and can use it 9n a pocket page exclusively. |

Really enjoying the challenges and trying to keep up with them, and play along with Shimelle's bobw. It is so interesting, I had this kit that I just could not make myself cut into (a Carta Bella one) but when I scrap along with her, I just hack into it! I think I just need to see someone else do it, lol and that is not like me. I am also working on the 50 LO before shopping although I had to restart about 8 LO in. But now I am up to 12 and hopefully can make it before my ACOT pre order comes in March.

Finally added Tapatalk…seeing if I am able to add a picture. If it works, this is my PL from last week. The bottom right has a 4x6 flip pocket page  for more photos and journaling. I’m finding 12x6 might not have been big enough for me after all as I have added extra flip pockets or 6x8 PP every week but one so far. Oh well. 😂 |

I've slowly been working along this month. I've been really distracted by the planning for a class I'm teaching, but as that will be starting soon, I'll have more free time. I put together 8 cards today using a Simple stories card kit. I got it at We Create and normally wouldn't have bought it. But they were so easy to put together and I'm not a card maker, so I may get those in the future for birthday cards and such.

I had gotten 8 Jewels-By-Numbers cards at a monthly Crafters group several months ago. They are very tedious and the numbers are VERY small to where I have to often use a magnifying glass. Some of the jewels are teardrop shapes so you can't just plop on the card like circle jewels. Anyhow, I decided to make one for DH for Valentine's Day and get some points ~ 2 birds, 1 stone kind of thing. Took me over 4 hours over a week to complete it.  |
