I usually do cards; but I also need to finish my boys scrapbooks. And at some point get back to the family scrapbooks. So I am hoping to get those going.
I always wanted to do project life; so I may start on it.

Hey, Scissors sisters! Yay, I’m excited about this. Although I don’t know if it’s too late for me or what but I read all those points rules and I’m not quite grasping it all. Will reread a couple times tomorrow with coffee to absorb. 😂 I am working on my memory planner. It’s a happy planner that I basically treat like a weekly casual scrapbook page. I use lots of project life cards because I got into PL for a bit but it didn’t stick but I want to use them. Lol I have 7 weeks missing from 2021 I will finish plus start a new planner for 2022. Once I catch up on my 2021 I think I will want another small Scrappy project to incorporate as well because I’ve been averaging more than the one weekly spread a week. Maybe a small PL binder type themed book..maybe incorporating OLW and goals or something. Maybe Bible journaling related. Will think on that some more and look for ideas!

Hello Scissor Sisters! I have added a link to @jeremygirl's team badge, that has been saved in the Two Peas Flickr gallery. (Posted as Small 150x150.) As I mentioned on the Paper Posse thread, I was hoping that people would be able to download it from the gallery, but it doesn't look like you can. Therefore I have put in in my Dropbox, so anyone with a Dropbox account can download it from there, then save it to your own Flickr or other photo hosting site, then add it to your siggy. Scissor Sisters badge - Dropbox linkIf anyone knows any other way to do it, let me know! It should be saved as a png file, otherwise it seems to save with a white box around it instead of a circle.

I can't see signature in Tapatalk or through the web on my phone.

I always wanted to do project life; so I may start on it. I just switched over to project life last year and I love doing it. I am finally including lots of every day sort of images which is good for me because I no longer have a lot of kid pictures. My scrapbooking has become mostly about me anymore. And I love to include things like the books I'm reading or a new cookie recipe I'm working on. Those things don't often merit a while 12x12 page, kwim?

paget please don't get overwhelmed by the points. There is usually an easy peasy points calculation. It will say a page larger than 8.5x11 or something and my PL are 12x12. I take the easy points. And then it will be less for smaller sizes. So you can take easy peasy points. Or you can take other crafts points. That is 10 points for every hour spent crafting. Any craft. So I take points for crochet too. Most of the additional challenges are aimed at traditional scrapbooking. And that doesn't fit what I do. So I take the easy points or the other crafts points. I took other crafts for a travelers notebook for example. Also, I'd love to see what you do with one little word or bible journaling. All that creativity counts. ETA: I think we are not doing the easy peasy points this year. I have put in a message to grammadee about it to confirm.

Everyone the easy peasy points are linked in the Rules thread. Here's what it says: EASY PEASY: After you have calculated in your creating (1 point) and sharing (1 point), you claim a flat number of points for each creation, depending on its SIZE ***Give yourself 20 points for every creation that is at least 8”x11”. **Give yourself 15 points for each creation that is between 5”x7” and 8”x11” *Give yourself 10 points for any creation smaller than 5”x7” paget I find this the best way to track my PL points.

Thank you jeremysgirl. I think I will do that and add points for other things later as we go along/I figure it out. I think I saw something for a point per picture used- I use a lot of pictures (little ones) so maybe I’ll add that, too. I’m out of the loop for buying scrap things - can you share where you got your page Protectors and binder for your December daily? That might be a good size for me for my new OLW/goal type project.

Oh yay! I’m a Scissor Sister!
I have to take a look at the rules and points yet.
In 2022 I will continue making a dent in my stash. Lots of kits that need put together, lots of inventory that needs to be used!
I also have some other artistic ideas I want to do, that got derailed in 2021. And a new one I’m going to try and keep up with.
Off to look at the pinned post!

Happy New Year, so happy to be back and able to craft again. This Holiday Home set up is becoming TOO much. Here are my first crafting projects for 2022. I attended a 12 hour virtual event with Stamplistic that started at 2:30 yesterday afternoon my time, so even though we made 10 cards during the event I can only count the two that I started and completed after midnight my time.

Wow! Those are beautiful MARIBETHR . Just amazing work. That must have been some workshop. Thank you, yes it is a blast, the is the third of these type of events. She put one on last New Years Eve and we all loved it so much that she did one around the 4th of July. We have a class every other Friday night with her as well. It is so much fun.

Hi I am teacherlisa. I used to be a teacher, now I am a 911 dispatcher. I am a single empty nester and normally scrap my adventures with my adult sons, or my day to day life. I typically scrap pretty simple 8.5x11 pages but don’t hold me to that.
This year I am doing OLW (upgrade) and will do DITL, and WITL. I subscribe to AE story kits and will use those often.
I plan to start an album called “Thats entertainment” which will be an A-Z album of the music, TV shows, movies and entertainers that I enjoy.
I plan to finish/add to an album about my career as a 911 dispatcher.
I plan to continue to learn about digital scrapbooking by taking classes that I have paid for and not taken yet lol.

teacherlisa I look forward to seeing what you do with the story kits. So far, I've just been collecting them. Ha! I need to get about using them. I'm also fascinated by your A-Z album. Can't wait to see that take shape.

Hi all!
I'm currently working on finishing up my 2021 PL book (currently working on Week 43) and my 2018 12 x 12 traditional book (working on October there too and DD already complete). Once done with those, I need to decide how I'll work on my 2022 book. I also need to start our school book for 2021-22 (and finish up previous years). Since I'm working on a 365 for photography, I also have to decide how to incorporate that into my book- a separate deal, a monthly spread or just throughout. It's the beginning of the year and I have too many ideas whirling around!

@cumber1137 do you do project life? Did you see the 9x12 pink velvet album that sleepingbooty linked in the project life thread? Swoon. I've never tried that size but the album is a huge incentive.

I'm excited for this and happy to be a Scissors Sister! I've got 2 SB albums that are mostly done and I need to just sit down and FINISH them! Both are 12x12, as that is mainly what I do (multi-photo, 2-page spreads for the most part). I'll also be making cards - those go a bit quicker. Some are for my own stash and current needs (1 sympathy, several B-day & other occasions) and some are for gifts for a couple of my teacher friends so they can have notes/thanks you's/whatever occasion cards to send as needed. As for other crafts, I am a cross-stitcher but haven't done any stiching for quite a few months. So I'd like to get back to doing my stiching projects too - I have 2 in progress that I laid aside months ago. As for new product, I bought some new things earlier this fall that have not been touched yet. I don't generally follow trends, so "new" for me might be "old" for others, LOL. Usually "new" for me means I bought it at Tuesday Morning or came across it on the SALE pages on Scrapbook-dot-com or another site and "had to" have it.

Anyone work on any projects today? I spent more time crafting than I expected and it was a nice way to start the new year. I completed 2 memory planner weeks from April and a last/bonus page to the 2021 planner. I also prepped pictures for some the other missing weeks in 2021.
I also spent some time researching ideas for how I want my new project to be (like the size and type of book - more like a planner or PL style or traditional SB). Still not sure, but I have narrowed down the topic - it will be goals. There will be 4 or 5 topics of goals depending on how I end up sorting them and one of the sections will be my OLW and how goals fir in with that. Excited to see how it all ends up coming together.

Welcome to the team scrappinwithoutpeas I never know what's trendy anymore. I look at the threads where they post new product but I rarely buy any. I mostly use a kit for every project.

What size did you decide on paget ? I really really enjoyed 6x8 for my Christmas album. I think I'm going forward with that size for my project albums for 2022.

I order some paper and ink for my selphy yesterday. So I can get started with 2022. I have cancelled my hip kit sub. But I'm still getting January's and it looks so great I'm afraid I may regret cancelling. Ha! We shall see what I will do.
I have september- November to finish up my 2021 project life. I have September's pictures printed. I plan to clean up my Christmas stuff today. And I need to set my computer stuff back up for work tomorrow. Boo!

I’m done with my 2018 DD. I haven’t been inspired yet to do my 2021 and 2019 and 2020 are sitting half finished. I think doing PL for I don’t post scrapbooking on IG, not mine on there!

First job is finishing my stash purge & reorganize. Then I have 2 boxes of layouts to go through. Some are ready for albums, and some need journaling & embellishments. I am attending a crop (not sure if it'll be virtual or face to face) on the 22nd so I want to be ready to work on the unfinished ones at that event.
I have a bunch of photo sorting to do, too.
Want to make 10 or so cards a month.
