Yes, I will start a new thread sometime tomorrow morning (1.1.23). Hope to see you, and everyone else, around more this next year! Thank you! I appreciate you starting the thread each year and encouraging all of us! Count me in with the appreciative bunch!

This isn't new advice, but still really good to repeat as we head into the new year. When helping your children declutter their bedrooms/playrooms,etc. don't question their decision to let something go. By questioning them with an "Are you sure?" you make them question their own judgement. That can then be carried into adulthood. So encourage and support them without making them 2nd guess their decisions. Agreed! It is hard to do though. There are some things I have asked for. LOL! Like the bowl he made for the pottery unit in middle school. It sits on my bedside table.

Thank you for all the thanks for starting the annual thread. I enjoy doing it and seeing the progress everyone makes. I want to mention though that this thread wouldn't exist if it weren't for LavenderLayoutLady who began the initial thread several years ago. All I've done is take up where she left off! So happy to see that she is still with us on the thread! ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/love.jpg.gif)
