This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . If you are doing the Team Challenges, this challenge is worth one point for each page/project when you complete all 4. So that's 4 points for completing the Pokey Pea Challenge.

Sorry I forgot to start this thread last night. Welcome to New Year 2022. I think we all hope that things will be better this year than the last two.
We had fireworks going off last night from 9 pm until well after midnight. It's the first time our neighbors have used fireworks for New Year. It was fun to see and hear them.
I hope you each had a great New Year's Eve and I wish you well for all of 2022.

Thanks for setting up the thread again, nylene .
Happy New Year, Pokeys! How did you mark this milestone?
We set out snacks in the basement, brought down the Apple speaker to play music from dd's playlist, and had a family shuffleboard tournament last night. A way to celebrate not only NYE, but the fact that the basement had been cleaned up after our little crisis last week and cleared out of alot of surplus stuff that needed to go anyway. Dsil had put together a couple of shelving units and dd sorted all dh's tools and construction supplies to put on the shelves. I had gone through some tubs, got rid of some things that seemed important a few years ago but are pretty useless now --like recipe and scrappy magazines --and set aside a bunch of stuff to take next week to donate.

nylene - thank you for setting up out little chat thread. grammadee - that sounds like a lovely evening. Well done sorting out the basement. We had appetisers and watched Fiddler on the Roof together and then watched the livestream of the ball drop at Times Square and toasted the new year with sparkling cider - our traditional New Year's Eve celebration. DD went canoeing with her Girl Scout troop today and I got some scrappy time in. Hoping to get a few more layouts done in between making dinner. Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year! grammadee your NYE sounds so fun! I spent the evening home in the much needed and enjoyed quiet! There have been so many people in and out that it was good to just be. I put my past years pages into albums and watched the ball drop. In bed at 11:45 lol. Lots of fireworks and gunfire at midnight here. We went from 60's to zero overnight and have our first snow on the first! The same thing happened last year. I scrapped for a few hours with mom and my nieces. That didn't go as I planned. I had gotten my second shingles shot Friday, and every time I go for one they ask me about others and do I want them. Friday it was the pneumonia vaccine. Sure why not! I'm here! I woke up during the night freezing! I thought I had forgotten to turn the furnace back up. Woke up a bit later feeling warm - - slept until after 9 and just wasn't feeling it for the crop. I spent the day laying low and not doing much. Today both arms are still sore, but I'm feeling much better. I hope to do some decluttering and maybe some scrapping later. I hope this year things start to turn for the better! Although I saw the meme that says 2022 is pronounced 2020 TOO. So we could be looking at 2020 ThREE, and four and so on. Can we just skip this decade? LOL.

I have been busy and haven't been on the computer as much. I was late getting Christmas cards out but finally got them out. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Work has been busy as usual. It has gotten to where we don't have as much staff and they have taken away some of the bonuses so no one is picking up. They have had taken us down to just 36 patients which is what we are supposed to go to. The other night they announced hospital-wide regarding crisis staffing and we have to go up to 42 patients no matter what our staffing is. They are even taking some of our easier patients away and we are getting harder, sicker patients and a heavier load. The charge could end up with having to take patients. I had a little breakdown charging on that first night. We needed 5 nurses for the day shift and they still wanted me to go up with numbers. They got me some nurses but they still were working short. I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.
I am having a CT this week. I had routine blood and urine labs done in October. My UA didn't look good and so they asked for me to repeat it in December. I got a message from the PA that it actually looked worse and now they want to follow up to find out why I have microscopic blood in my urine. I haven't had any symptoms so I hope everything is okay. I am anxious about what they will find.
I am at the coffee shop as I usually am on Sunday evening. They are about to close. I hope to check in later this week.

Oh no knutschen, I'm sorry about work (can totally relate) and the health worries. I hope they figure that out for you. We're still with family about 6 hours from home. It's been a good weekend and I'm almost relaxed. Tomorrow we are supposed to drive home - in the morning we will all do rapid covid tests however. My nephew's GF was here New Year's Eve and all New Year's Day. Her brother and his GF (who live with her...) are both showing covid signs. Fingers crossed it's just a cold! If we were positive, we'd have to rethink: could hole up here to avoid spreading it, but we've left 4 cats at home who will need us. The trip will be uncomfortable - the car is VERY squishy with 5 adults and 2 dogs! Driving up was not pleasant. OH well, grateful to have a good car and a family to visit! Remember those diamond paintings I ordered for this weekend? Yeah...I clicked on the wrong address and they are waiting for me at home I did bring the wedding invitations with me to finish but miscounted some elements, so I've finished 16 and the remaining 9 will get done over the next couple of days. I ended up formating and printing the inside "invitation" part of the card as well. That was challenging because it's not my strength, but DANG I'm proud of myself!!! I even got it to print on the cardstock right so I could just fold it right into the card. Untitled by kirstendrew, on Flickr Hoping to spend a day crafting/creating/organizing after we get home, and recharge to return to work!

joyfulnana - hope you're feeling better now. (((Hugs))) knutschen - ((((Hugs))) that sounds miserable at work - and can't be great for the patients either. ((((Hugs)))) I hope the test goes well and relieves your worry. kitbop - glad that you had a good weekend -sorry for the Covid worries. ((((Hugs))) I love the inside printing -well done! I should have stayed home yesterday. Dh said IKEA trip - it turned into IKEA (and through the showroom at that) plus Lego store, Joanns, Target, and THREE Hallmark stores (two in malls and we parked at the wrong end of one and the wrong floor of the other). SO MUCH WALKING. I hurt from head to toe today. Really hoping double masking works ( I am vaccinated and boostered)

knutschen, so glad to see your smiling face pop up. I am sorry you are worrying about the results of your CT. I hope everything is ok and that if not, it is easily cured. Your work situation sounds like the hospitals here. My RN friend looks so bedraggled and tired. I don't know it you saw, but they were paying double time plus $2400 per shift to anyone who would work through the holidays. They were still not getting many takers because they are all so tired. Hugs to you and prayers for your CT to be ok. kitbop, sending the diamond paintings to your home address sounds like something I would do. Now you will have something at home to keep you busy (as if you had nothing else to do). I hope your trip home is uneventful. I'm sure your kitties are missing you. Linda, that's a lot of walking and shopping. That's the kind of walking that wears me out. I hope you found everything you were looking for and can relax and rest today. Did DD start school again today? The Polar Plunge was so cold. The air temp was 15 degrees. They went early and broke the ice around a section of the bank and moved jutting ice pieces that might cut ankles. They all ran together and all but Topher went clear under. He got in up to his knees and said, "This is crazy!" and headed for the car. Dinner with the whole family was fun. I wish DS could have been with us but he is on a Veteran's Snowmobile Ride for wounded warriors. This is a big event and he supports and sponsors several of these each winter. Our DGD and husband went to NYC to celebrate their first anniversary. They had a fire alarm one night and had to walk down 19 floors to stand in the cold until they determined that it was just someone's burned food they shouldn't have been cooking in the hotel. I told her that I could never have made it that far. I would have had to stay and burn. Off to spend the last day with the Calif kids before they leave tomorrow. I hate to see them go.

Good Monday morning, Pokeys! knutschen, I am hoping the CT test results are clear for what you are worried about. Dd drove to the city for hers between Christmas & New Years, and is awaiting results. And you are having so much stress at work I hope that on your days off you can relax a little bit. Speaking of relaxing, I had some down time yesterday while dd & family went skiing and dh was busy with his nephew, and all it seemed to do was leave me wanting MORE... Adrenaline finally ran out I think. This morning I slept in and almost missed the exodus. Dd's hubby drove home this morning with dgs and his sister, two dogs and a cat. The province announced Friday that back to school will be delayed for a week while the staff prepare for Omicron. Dad has a couple more days off and then arranged day care for Thursday/Friday so that dd can stay on here as planned for the week to work on her research proposal and reading for her PhD studies. I am with Topher on the Polar Plunge, nylene. That temp range might get me outside to take a few photos of people having fun, but there is NO WAY I would be jumping into water! Brrrr... Temps around here moderated yesterday to a balmy -23C (around 0 F), but they are plunging again, and the expected temp by tomorrow will be back in the -35 to -40 range. So sticking your nose out the door is a polar plunge. Hoping you are either having a safe drive home today, kitbop, or that your family is able to relax where you are with no symptoms even if someone does test positive. Hopefully in that case you have someone who can go in and make sure the cats are okay. And hoping you can get some rest today, Linda. Sounds like yesterday was a tiring one. What did you end up purchasing at Ikea and the craft stores? Did dd go with you, or did she feel safe to stay alone after that last scare? Tomorrow, I have an appointment with the dealership for a regular service and a recall notice. I am going to get the shuttle service to drop me at WalMart where I will print my holiday photos. Then justjac will pick me up to do a bit of shopping and end the day at a table in the back of our LSS, so maybe i will actually SCRAP some of those photos! (Have my scrappy go-bag ready to take with me, and if I need anything else, well, we will be in a scrapbook store!

nylene - brrrr! I can't imagine jumping in water that cold. I think Topher is right - good for him to have the confidence to say that. grammadee - hope you get some rest today before your scrappy adventures tomorrow. Ikea - we got one more 8-cube Kallax for my albums and some stuff DH wanted - we had hoped to get some more bookcases but they were out of stock. Oh and salt liquorice - my treat at the registers! Yum! Joanns - just some marked down Christmas fabric to make placemats and gift bags and some air dry clay for DD. I didn't really look at the scrappy section because I'm frozen

Good Thursday morning, Pokeys. justjac, I hope your first day back to work goes smoothly. Or do you need to go in today with wind chills around the -38 mark? Linda, how are you feeling? Rested up, yet? Has dd's start back to school gone well? How about you, nylene? Have you recovered from all the family activities over the holidays? I know you are sad to see the Ca family leave, but also hopefully getting some much needed rest. I see you are scrapping, though, so that is a good sign. And kitbop, are you safely home? How has your transition back to work been? Did you have your CT scan yet, knutschen. Continuing to hope for a result that is either benign or successfully treatable. How are you feeling, joyfulnana? Did whatever illness you had at New Years' move on? Are you back at work? Has it let up a bit? And really hoping to hear from kellyr21 and gramma and msliz. How has the start to the new year been? Today is Ukrainian Christmas Eve. Dh wants some traditional foods for supper. I have some pyrogies in the freezer and have pulled out a tub of borscht to thaw. Hoping to pick up some fish from the Co-op today when I am in town. The reason I am going out today when the temps are so low is that I have an appointment to take Charley--our little deck squatter--to the vet for a check up and shots. She/he (and the vet will answer that question for us) has been staying in an insulated shelter on the deck during the days, and in a cat carrier in the basement cold room at night when it is really cold. Charley is very sociable: calls us through the window when she hears us talking in the dining room, and purrs as soon as she/he is picked up. I think this kitty started out life with a human family. Dh and I are not agreed on whether we need/want a house cat. My sinuses are pulling for a deck pet. My main job this week around here is to keep track of the challenges coming in for the first quarter. Have to start working on my printable list so it can be posted tomorrow evening. And I have been doing some scrapping. Had photos printed on Tuesday, and one LO completed at the LSS with justjac. Then yesterday I was able to complete a couple more. Have one more LO on the counter. Working with the January 1st Sketchy Saturday. Have my photos cut and roughly laid out. Now I need to select the other elements. Trying to talk different collections into working together. Okay, enough of TALKING about what I am doing and time to start DOING it!

Home, and back to work today where we are dealing with increasing covid numbers and a non-emergency surgery shut down I have to have a swab tomorrow (the real one, not the nice superfical rapid test...). We're in a mini-lockdown here for 3 weeks - schools are virtual, no gym, no indoor dining. Sigh. Haven't put Christmas "away" yet - we took the tree down before we left, but all the other decor is still up and I am right now finding the energy to pack it up because in my family it's bad luck to leave it up after twelfth night. Then, we're having homemade sushi to celebrate twelfth night! grammadee, funny how different countries have different celebrations but all on the same timelines. Enjoy your borscht and pyrogies! Oh, and my vote goes to indoor cat nylene - sounds like your Topher is the smart one of the family I can't wait to print out the challenges and get cracking! It's been SOOO long since I finished a layout.

Hey everyone. I was supposed to go back to work Thursday, but ended up getting both Thursday and Friday off due to extreme cold. We took our tree down Saturday. We usually leave it up longer, but I needed the space in our living room. I did get some scrappy Christmas gifts. grammadee got me some cute dies, an embossing folder, and a stamp set. I also got some finger ink daubers that kitbop mentioned at a crop from my SIl. I also got an album, two brayers, some purple glitter plates for my Big Shot, villainous potion ink and spray, and a Sizzix layered die. It's not that my family is super good at knowing what I want; I just have a very detailed Amazon list. TW for health issues: My MIL is in the hospital two and a half hours away. At first we thought it was a mild stroke, but now we know it could be a brain tumor or a brain bleed that isn't draining. She had a biopsy today, so hopefully we'll know more soon. My DH and his dad have been back and forth a couple times and staying in the city in a hotel. Unfortunately only two family members are allowed in the hospital so my BIL and I stayed home. She is lucid and doing pretty well.

Oh no, 2justjac! I was so hoping it had been a UTI or something alot less scary. Hoping for the best possible results from the MRI. (((((Hugs))))) to you and Dean's whole family.
I spent the day collecting Christmas dishes and small ornaments into a couple of tables, ready to be packed up. Dsil is planning to drive down tomorrow, so while he is here we will be taking down and stowing the Christmas tree and clearing out all the decorations.

Hello! This week has gone so fast I didn't even realize it was Friday until it almost time to start work lol. @knutchen I sure hope they figure out what's going on and that it's nothing major. I'm sorry you are dealing with shortages at work. Seems like all employers took away incentives at the worst point in this forever pandemic. I hope things settle down soon for you. nylene ok, your kids ARE crazy! LOL. I'm with Topher lol. I wonder if he'll change his mind next year lol. I'm just so glad you got to have a big holiday with your family this year! It makes me smile. How scary for your DGD though! I'm glad it was a false alarm. Linda, fingers crossed for you and I hope you are feeling better. That's a lot of walking! I wouldn't have lasted lol. At least you got a good treat out of it and more scrappy organization things. That's almost as much fun as new supplies grammadee I'm with you, I sometimes feel like I can never get enough time to myself. Which is a little crazy since I live alone - but I guess what I want is time that doesn't need to go to something else so that I can just scrap instead! I would love to scrap at an LSS. I do have a couple here, one that doesn't carry most of what I would buy, and the other I haven't checked out because it's out of the way, but I don't believe they have a crop space. I vote indoor kitty too, but if your sinuses are protesting, kitty should probably be a deck cat. kitbop sounds like you guys were all ok, and no Covid? That sucks that you are in a short lockdown. Although I wish we would do that here. But there is no way anyone in this country is going to stand for any more lockdowns - even though we never really had one to start with. You'll have to let me know what you think of the diamond paintings. Like I need something else Oh no justjac! That's terrible about your MIL. I'm glad she seems to be doing well, but I'm sorry you can't be there too. I have thought often about giving my kids a scrappy Amazon list, or sharing the wishlist from an online LSS. For some reason, I keep thinking it's just easier for me to shop for myself when it comes to scrappy goodness. You made out alright! I haven't scrapped at all since last weekend. It's been work, and couch time with Abby. She insists. And once I'm on the couch it's over It's been super slow at work now since October. But this week it seems things are picking up, just enough that it feels good to have something to do. I'm not ready for more yet. My DD album still needs lots of work, and I'm ready to get back to cropping with everyone. Not sure if that will happen tomorrow since they moved the Chiefs game to tomorrow night lol. I really need to check the gallery too.

Hello everyone. grammadee - sounds like a yummy Ukrainian meal for Christmas Eve! We celebrated Epiphany -just with a star tart (okay - it was supposed to look like a star but...well...I tried) and singing. How is Charley doing? sounds like he/she has found a new family with you guys. kitbop - ((((Hugs))) I hope work isn't too terrible - those increasing numbers are scary. justjac - two extra days off sound like a nice treat. Your scrappy presents sound perfect! I'm sorry about your MIL - she's in my prayers joyfulnana - Thanks - I am feeling better but unmotivated. My new cube unit is still boxed but I'm hoping that'll get assembled soon. Enjoy the Chiefs game (what sport is that?) we did groceries and DD15 is making homemade spaghetti sauce for the first time...it's going to be interesting...she mis-read paste for pasta and added the penne into the crockpot with all the sauce ingredients. She's hoping it'll make a nice one pot meal. I'm hoping it'll be edible.

joyfulnana - it was edible...at least as edible as anything else with a tomato based sauce and pasta is (I'm not a fan of either). DH liked it and plans to eat leftovers. DD15 was disappointed with the flavour but we've talked through some ideas for tweaking it next time (starting with not including pasta in the sauce). Overall a win, I think. DH said it was more like American Chop Suey? I'm not familiar with that so...shrugs. It was better than the hamburgers last week that I choked down - she used a TBSP of thyme in the mix (among other things) which was an awful lot for three hamburgers. They were SO thyme-y. But she's learning... NFL - American football right? are these the playoffs?

I think it is wonderful that your dd wants to cook dinner and that she is willing to take risks and learn along the way. Kudos to you for swallowing it down and saying thank you. I have had dd here since before Christmas, and she needs to be gluten free and also onion and garlic free. I personally can't eat garlic, but I am really missing the onions, soup base flavorings, and "real" flour. She is leaving with her family tomorrow, so I will be able to go back to my usual cooking routines.
Charley is a GIRL! She is doing fine after her shots, and still living on the deck in the day and in her carrier in the cold room in the basement at night. She is very sweet and friendly, but my sinuses still do not want her roaming in the house all day, and I am not sure I can kitten proof our home or keep such a close eye on her that she won't cause havoc in here when I am not watching.
Today dd packed away the tree decorations and took down the tree while I packed up the other Christmas decor. Her hubby helped dh cart the refuse from our basement incident to the refuse transfer station. Then he came back here and carried all the heavy stuff downstairs and put it away. I have one tub to go through down there now and it will all be stowed until next December. It was nice to have all the help and to get the job done in one day, but I think I miss handling all the ornaments and kind of saying goodbye to them. The house is so drab when they are all put away...
Hoping to get back into scrapping this week. Lots of ideas. Just need the uninterrupted time. I have blood work on Tuesday in prep for my regular dr appointment next week, but thinking I might set up a virtual crop on Wednesday morning. Will let you know.

grammadee - I do encourage her to try new things and experiment. She's rather a picky eater so the more she learns to cook and like - the better. We've trialed gluten-free before and it was HARD (esp. for me as the cook) so kudos to you for working with your DD's dietery needs. congratulations on your girl kitty! How old is she? I have my rescheduled and overdue mammogram on Monday morning but Wednesday is free for me so far so I hopefully can join in if you get a crop going. I wanted to join tonight but my tablet needed charging. I got almost all Christmas and Advent packed up today - just waiting on a few kitchen linens to finish up in the laundry and then the outdoor decor (DH is in charge of the lights). It looks so spacious without the trees...

knutschen , do you have your results yet? I am praying for an easy cure if they find something. Keep in touch, please. kitbop , it was nice seeing you for a few minutes on Sat. I am sorry that your Covid numbers are growing. That seems to be the same throughout the US too. I'm getting discouraged. Very few wear masks around here and it makes me worried. I hope things settle down with your dad and that he can be comfortable. grammadee , I would have a hard time changing to gluten-free cooking. I'm glad you have found some recipes that work and are enjoyed. Thanks for setting up the quarterly challenges. I am hoping my scrapping mojo kicks in before the end of the month. It sounds like you have a new "porch cat." justjac , how is your DMIL doing? Scary experiences when our loved ones have health issues. I hope you are all doing well. I love your photos in your booklet about you in the gallery. gramma , it was so nice to see you for a few minutes on Sat. I didn't have things ready to work on and felt like I wasn't being productive. I had ignored DH for the whole week while working on the Valentine kits I was asked to make for a church meeting. I decided I needed to spend the evening with him. I'm hoping to spend more time online this weekend. joyfulnana , I'm sorry I missed you on the crop this weekend. Our church time has changed and falls right in the middle of the Sunday crop. I was hoping to hop on at the end, but dinner took longer than anticipated. Is Abby getting settled down again now? I love the holidays but I find it nice when things settle down to normal. Linda , thanks for hosting the quarterly challenge. I appreciate the time it takes to respond to a big team. How is DD doing being the "last one" as my kids called Angie. It took her a while to get used to living with just 2 oldies, but she survived. msliz , it was great seeing you online this weekend. It has been too long! Hope you had a nice Hanukkah season. kellyr21 , MARIBETHR and any other Pokeys checking in. I hope you had a great holiday and are ready to preserve some memories. My scrap mojo is gone. I spent 3 days putting together Valentine kits and trying to do it all with my stash and scraps. I just heard through the grapevine that the meeting has been canceled due to the speaker having Covid. If my friend had not called to tell me she had been exposed to Covid, I would probably have shown up tomorrow night with a car full of tools and Valentine kits. I understand it is just postponed for a month or two. Since Valentines won't be needed in a couple of months, I'm not sure what they will do with them. I definitely don't want to start over on different cards. Off to look at pretty papers and try to jump start my mojo!

MARIBETHR and any other Pokeys checking in. I hope you had a great holiday and are ready to preserve some memories. Hello, So glad to be back on the boards, love that I get points for putting up my decorations because it will probably take me another month. I don't take photos anymore of the decor as they just really don't come out well. I took one of the tree as I always do, but don't really scrap those. That is a bummer about the Valentine Kits, they can just use them for next year and be ahead of the game. Hope all are well and safe. Now go get your mojo on. Chat with you soon.

Good Wednesday morning, Pokeys! Hope everyone's week is going well. It has warmed up here to around the freezing mark so quite a relief from the deep freeze we have been in. Dh is spending alot of time outdoors on the tractor clearing snow. But he is also doing some repair and maintenance in the basement where he sometimes needs my help, so I couldn't host a virtual crop today. Tomorrow he has appointments in the morning so I will have the house to myself. Good to hear you are "back in the game", maribeth. Looking forward to seeing what you create with paper once you have all your Christmas pretties put away. Hoping your work remains steady but not overwhelming, joyfulnana. Sorry I missed the virtual get together on the weekend, but we still had people here. Hope your mojo comes home, nylene. I hate when mine goes wandering. That is disappointing about your card club being postponed. You did alot of work and were looking forward to getting together. If you don't meet early February, can you box up your kits for next January? It was great seeing your pages & cards pop up in the sharing thread, gramma. While dh is outside, I hope to get started on a couple of LO ideas. If I get the prep work done today, I should be able to put a few together tomorrow morning. So I need to quit chatting and start playing with paper...

nylene - I'm sorry about the card club - what a disappointment I hope your mojo (and mine) returns soon. DD15 seems to be managing okay - she definitely misses her sister at chore time, lol. The three of them played Minecraft together online the other day and she thoroughly enjoyed that. good luck with the layout ideas grammadee. Looking forward to tomorrow's crop. I've had a couple of slower days. I had my mammogram on Monday morning - they couldn't finding my booking when I checked in but squeezed me anyway. Apparently they switched in December from doing their own scheduling to using the hospital scheduler and the two software programs weren't working well together so a bunch of appointments (mine included) got lost in transition. And then the tech wasn't as gentle as I might have wished with positioning me...my upper back and shoulders have been hurting ever since which haven't made for very good sleep.

Checking in with the Pokeys! I spent this evening diamond "painting"...an evil way to have 3 hours go "zap" while causing you neck and back pain when you realize it's been 3 hours of a sustained position... Fun, and great distraction, but not *creative*. AFter I finish this one (a few more hours to go) I'll leave the others for sometime when I need mindless time-zapping activity! Linda, glad they got your appointment squeezed in. Nothing like a wasted trip. but I'm sorry you are still hurting. I hope you see lots of peas at the weekday crop grammadee!

Good Morning! This week has flown by they all seem to fly lately. nylene what a bummer about your card club. I know you really missed that last year and I'm sorry it's been postponed AFTER you got all the kits together. Which figures as that's how things usually go. Although that would probably never happen to me because I would procrastinate putting them together in the first place! I just missed you at the Saturday crop! Linda I've yet to schedule my overdue mammogram. I need to get quite a few things scheduled actually. That's awesome that DD is learning to cook and is willing to try new things. I'm not sure how I would have handled that burger though lol. grammadee kudos to you for being able to cook gluten free. I've tried that as well and as Linda said it's HARD. I hope you have a lot of peas for the crop today. I wish I could join in! How old is Charley the girl? Work is steadily picking up, especially in the evening for me, on the West coast. Now I need to harangue them for some help those last three hours lol. Everyone one else works 8-5 EST. Working West coast time was part of the deal with my moving. It's used to be slower those hours but this pandemic has changed everything. I don't mind it really since otherwise I would have to be at my desk ready to go at 7:00 AM, which I've done and it's not fun. I like having a later check in lol. I have a ton of ideas, not enough time, and not enough motivation/energy through the week to start on them. I haven't scrapped much yet this year so I'm really really glad for the quarterly teams. Hopefully that will change as we get back into full swing with the crops. I know I'll have Rudy Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Fingers crossed I crop Saturday night. Thinking of you and your family justjac, and you too kellyr21 - I hope things are going well. Waving HI to everyone

joyfulnana - please do get that scheduled. It's so important to catch breast cancer early. There's no one in my family with a history but DH's side carries the BRCA gene AND has had people who don't have the gene still end up with breast cancer so it's very much on my radar. Hopefully you can get some help for the later hours at work. kitbop - sounds like the diamond painting went well for you. grammadee - I'm still planning on joining in on the crop - just need to get a few things done before it starts
