I fell in love with sketches during Sketchtember. I thought we could post additional sketches here to help each other out!
I’ll start. Im in need of a 2 page sketch where the background papers are not the same. I pulled together a nice stack of papers for a layout, but none of them do I have doubles of. So ideally the sketch would utilize lots of different papers as well.
Post your sketch wanted, as well as links/pictures to sketches in response! 😀

At least one of her half & half classes had the divide between the two pages. also, take a look through our own Sketchy Saturday links

Still thinking half & half pages. Can you split both pieces horizontally in half, then either tape them together or use a couple of sheets of cs to back them to create two pages with tops matching and bottoms matching? Some ideas HERE

This is an older sketchy Saturday but I think you could easily switch out one of the background papers to have two different patterns. sketchAnd this one is very similar as well another sketch

Here are some sketches and page kit examples that I had saved to my computer. They have more photos than you were looking for, but that's easily changed. These examples are more for ideas on how to use two pieces of 12x12 for the background. Personally I wouldn't like to use two full 12x12 papers side by side on a two page spread. It would look too separate to my brain, unless the pages were tied together well by the photos and elements. I would prefer to cut one piece in half and use the 6x12 pieces either side of the bigger 12x12 in the centre of the double page spread, similar to the one on the bottom left. Come to think of it, for paper scrappers you would have to cut both pieces of paper in half. It's easier for me because I make my file 24x12, so I wouldn't have too 'cut' the second piece of paper in half.

You’d probably enjoy Scrapbook Generations sketches. They do a great job of using different patterns together and singles of each. I miss the sub since it always inspired me to stretch my stash different than I used to. Their sketch books are worth the money IMO.

I'm sorry I don't have a sketch, but with 2 background pages that play well together, you can cut an inch (or 2 or 3 or 4") off each one, and attach it to the other sheet using leftover branding strips on the back.
So, Page one starts on the left with the 1-3 inch strip that is from the main Page 2 pattern. The rest of this 12x12 page (left half of layout) is the rest of Page one's design. The Next page is the 1-3 inch strip of the page 1 design, followed by the rest of page 2's pattern. It makes it seem like an offset, rather than 2 pages meeting just in the middle.
Bonus points if you have good branding strips to glue behind the seams that peek through (can be with dirstrssed edges, or not--just a little accent color peeking through).
