We moved homes in late October and my scrap room is about 75 square feet larger with a nice 10 foot walk in closet. I gave myself until December 10th to have it up and running. Haha. That day was the day our company came for a long weekend. Then the Christmas hustle began and I also started back to work part-time in November. Today I just finished moving the last machine to its new home and still have a few more days of organizing some bins and paper, but I think tomorrow I'll break out some pictures and start getting caught up with 2021.
Just feeling good about the move finally. The rest of the house was completely moved in by late November, and I left my scrap room until last so I could do it without feeling pressure to work on another room.
Will take some pictures tomorrow and update.

Congrats on getting moved into your new space, 950nancy! Better late than never. That looks like a lot of boxes to unpack. Looking forward to seeing your studio all set up, and seeing some of the creations you put together there.

Congratulations on your move and new scrap room, 950nancy. It looks like such a spacious and peaceful room, too. And loads of natural light, woohoo! Wishing you a great time unboxing it all and finding your marks. I'm intrigued by your apple box comment. I think apples mostly come in open tray-style cardboard boxes here so those in your pics didn't ring a bell. I thought they were banana boxes at first.

congratulations! Looking forward to seeing photos! Enjoy your new space.
You took the opposite approach I did - I set up the craft room first before we actually moved into the house so I had a place to relax and take a break.

What a great space! Can't wait to see how it transforms! I thought they were banana boxes at first. They are similar to banana boxes but are a bit more sturdy.

I think apples mostly come in open tray-style cardboard boxes here so those in your pics didn't ring a bell. I thought they were banana boxes at first. These boxes generally hold three levels of apples on a cardboard base that has indentions in them. They hold an incredible amount of weight and are easy to lift with the holes in both the top and bottom of the boxes. We had over a hundred for the move and most of them were used 6 or more times as we emptied the house one room at a time.

congratulations! Looking forward to seeing photos! Enjoy your new space. You took the opposite approach I did - I set up the craft room first before we actually moved into the house so I had a place to relax and take a break. I am really quite left brained and was on the get'r done plan! We moved it all by ourselves (family- no moving company). I had over 125 scrap room boxes to move and then all of the furniture. It was a lot (for one room). I set up our bathroom and closet first and then made sure we had a mattress for sleeping. We were living in the new house two days after signing because we had to be out of our house (physically)for showings that same day. My scrap room closet and paper closet were slowly moved over one SUV load at a time for a good 3-4 weeks. I had to go after 5 pm most evening because it took the new buyers of our house 17 flipping days of having people come in and check out the plumbing, electrical, etc. I was a bit peeved.

Wow! What an amazing room! Congratulations on having everything so organized and accessible (and unpacked!). Please tell me about the storage boxes you're using for your Thickers. That looks like something I could use Those are from Scrapbook.com. I used to keep them in my large Kallax bins. I could fit two rows in each bin and get a ton in there. The white ones are about 12 inches deep and there are three sections in each bin.
