Has Fox had any coverage of junior's stumbling, slurring online video rant the other day? Talk about doddering - but it's drugs, not old age. The dude needs help. I tried to search for it but quite a few different rants come up as news articles. Do you have a link or a keyword to find the right one Thanks.

I voted for him and I think it’s completely inappropriate. I don’t care who said what-don’t stoop to the level the former orange asshole did. It serves absolutely no purpose and it doesn’t make him look good.

Well? I mean, he’s not wrong. 🤷♀️ Agreed Maybe he shouldn’t have said it, but we’re all human. I chalk it up to a human moment. I agree. But it’s a tiny blip for me. I do think that he needs to talk more about how inflation is a worldwide problem, and give updates on supply chain shortages.

Even sadder that there are plenty Republicans who would vote for him for President in 2024.

This old gem just popped up on Twitter.
Was McCain called inappropriate at the time? Labeled a geezer by Fox? I don't recall.

Inappropriate. No matter who is POTUS. I agree.

Remember this? From Time Magazine. “In a widely-circulated video from the 2008 presidential campaign, Sen. John McCain calls for respect for his then-opponent and eventual victor, President Barack Obama. A woman came up to McCain at a rally and said, “I can’t trust Obama. I have read about him, and he’s not, he’s not — he’s an Arab.” Her comment prompted McCain to immediately shake his head and take the microphone from her. “No ma’am,” McCain said. “He’s a decent family man, a citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues, and that’s what this campaign is all about.” McCain continued to defend Obama during the event even as his supporters voiced their surprise in the background.” The days of John McCain civility are long gone replaced by trump who has Republicans holding elected office eager to follow his brand of insults. At trump’s rallies he all but encourages the chanting of “Let’s go Brandon”. So the Democrats need to get a grip and get over what President Biden said whether it was a slip up or intentional because its just not that big of a deal. Love that, we need so much more of that. TFS! I do not support that he said it and agree with those that said it was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. However, I also don’t think it was a huge deal. We need to not take ourselves down to the very deep level the Republicans have shoveled to in matters such as this. I only want to see that when it is absolutely necessary to counteract the measures they have taken to try and destroy our democracy. To me, it’s worth it then. I voted for him and I think it’s completely inappropriate. I don’t care who said what-don’t stoop to the level the former orange asshole did. It serves absolutely no purpose and it doesn’t make him look good. Yes, that’s a better way of getting my point across! I don’t mind going low when we absolutely have to, when it serves a purpose. To me, this doesn’t.

I think if he said it directly to the reporter intentionally in a room full of reporters, I might feel differently. But, if the reporters were leaving and he kind of said it under his breath? I'm OK with that and willing to give him a pass, as long as he doesn't make a regular habit of it. How many of us cheered when Dr Fauci said something on a hot mike? I don't think he used a curse word, I think he just called Rand Paul a moron. Except for the curse, it seems like a similar situation. Or when it was leaked that Rex Tillerson referred to Trump as a f&cking moron? I wasn't a fan of Tillerson, but I enjoyed that.
eta - I also think perspectives on curse words vary greatly by generation. The f bomb doesn't phase my kids, but it horrifies my mother.

Yes, I think it was a very nice thing to do--to call Doocy and clear the air. And I think Doocy responded extremely graciously even telling Hannity (who said it wasn't exactly an apology) that it was all he needed and he appreciated the call.
I think President Biden showed class with this call.

M'eh... I can't get upset over this. It doesn't even register on my radar.
Besides, he already proven himself to be far more classy and polite than that conman ever did.

You know former would never have called and he would have placed all blame on someone else. I’m glad he took the high road. He says it under his breath and while I don’t think it was his finest moment how often did former go off on someone?

With the Biden comment, I’m meh on this one. Really can’t get worked up about cause he’s damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t. He’s human, and he’s also not wrong. I

This was inappropriate and while I totally understand wanting to do it, he shouldn't have. It's not what I want to see from the person in that office.

I think it’s inappropriate. But he’s human. I’m sure I’d have done much worse in his shoes by now.
I don’t really care that it happened though because him calling to apologize just elevates him. No deflecting, no blaming others, no pretending it didn’t happen or that it was okay. That’s how we teach our children - when you’re in the wrong, and you absolutely will be at times because you are human, you humble yourself and apologize.
The hypocrisy of those who respected our former president for his bluntness, political incorrectness, and absolute cruelty toward others when speaking is stunning. His inability to apologize or admit a mistake is pathological.

Did Trump apologize when he used the same phrase towards an NFL player taking the knee.
I thought it was pretty funny what President Biden said. I'm sure many a world leader would like to say the same thing to many of these reporters they are face with for asking some really stupid questions at times.

I wish he hadn't said it as it becomes a distraction at best.
That being said, if that offends you I can only imagine your horror of all that TFG said out loud and proud.

Seeing as how Trump called many reporters far worse on the daily, this doesn’t even register as a blip for me. And the fact that Biden actually called afterward to apologize more than redeems the slight infraction. When has anyone in the history of ever heard Trump apologize to anyone for anything? I refuse to get worked up over it.

I think President Biden showed class with this call. Yes, I agree. I feel like President Biden feels really badly about it. I'm relieved they both handled it between them, and yes, Doocy could have really ran with it and he didn't. Maybe this little incident will change the animosity between them. I'm hoping they had a good heart to heart talk. One can hope.
