Corey Lewandowski is back in former's circle... Wonder how the offended donor is handling it? Back to go after GOP governors who are not supportive of former. Corey Lewandowski's most recent banishment from Trumpland has reportedly come to an end as the former president seeks to exact vengeance on a Republican governor deemed insufficiently loyal. In September, a Trump spokesperson claimed Lewandowski "will no longer be associated with Trump World" after allegations of drunken sexual misconduct against a major donor in Las Vegas. The incident came five years after Lewandowski was fired from Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, even though Trump had stuck with him after he allegedly assaulted a female Breitbart News reporter. But Lewandowski says Trump has given him new assignments to help the former president. “The president is very unhappy with the chief executive officer of the state of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu,” Lewandowski told radio host Howie Carr, the National Journal reported Thursday. www.rawstory.com/trump-tasks-corey-lewandowski-with-destroying-one-of-americas-most-popular-gop-governors-report/

Takeovers starting. This is accomplished... California voters hand county over to militia allies -- thanks to Connecticut billionaire out for revengeTravis Gettys February 03, 2022 Voters ousted a California county official and handed control of its board of supervisors to a group aligned with a local militia, with the help of an out-of-state billionaire with a grudge against the local government. Nearly 53 percent of Shasta County voters elected to recall supervisor Leonard Moty, a Republican former Redding police chief, following almost two years of threats and conspiracy theories over the board's pandemic safety measures, reported the Sacramento Bee. “I think it’s going to be a change in our politics,” Moty told The Guardian. "I think we’re going to shift more to the alt-right side of things. I really thought my community would step up to the plate and they didn’t, and that’s very discouraging.” Moty's ouster tips the majority of the five-member board to a movement aligned with the Cottonwood militia, with his likely replacements as either construction superintendent Dale Ball or school board member Tim Garman -- who are separated by only 33 votes, and each of them celebrated their "victory" with militia members."This feels very much to me like the Nazi Party in the early '30s of Germany," Moty told KQED-TV, "where, you know, they came out with their brown shirts and they intimidated people. They bullied them into silence." Moty, his family and supporters faced threats from militia members and their allies, including militia member and mask opponent Carlos Zapata, over public health measures and what some saw as insufficient support for gun rights. "It's not going to be peaceful much longer, okay, and this isn't a threat," Zapata told the board of supervisors during an August 2020 meeting. "I'm not a criminal, I've never been a criminal, but I'm telling you good citizens are going to turn to real concerned and revolutionary citizens real soon." “Distrust in government has permeated the most local levels,” said terrorism expert Colin Clarke. “I’m familiar with the indicators of extremism and radicalization. I see them in places I never expected to see them. If you had told me as terrorism expert I’d be talking about school boards, I’d have said you’re crazy.” The recall also attracted the interest of Connecticut film producer Reverge Anselmo, who donated $450,000 to the recall's political action committee, nearly two years after donating $100,000 to the successful campaign of current county supervisor Patrick Jones -- who celebrated Moty's ouster. "I'm really proud of all the people that took part in this," Jones said. "It was a grassroots movement, mainly by women, the stay-at-home moms and grandmas and business owners, and they worked their tails off to get these signatures to certify the recall election." The 60-year-old Anselmo spent years unsuccessfully battling Shasta County in court after officials ordered him in 2007 to stop work on the 670-acre Bear Creek Ranch near Shingletown, where he had hoped to establish a restaurant, ranch and winery. "Funded by an out-of-state millionaire who is seeking revenge against the county, the recall effort has done nothing more than sow hate and division in our community. If the voters chose a different direction, which is probable, then they’ll get what (Reverge) Anselmo was willing to buy," Moty told the Record Searchlight. "I’m proud that I stood against anarchists, extremists, and white supremacists wanting to take over our county. As a lifelong resident of Shasta County, I’m very concerned with this change in leadership and its effect on our community." www.rawstory.com/reverge-anselmo-shasta-county/

Tennessee... Black woman gets six years in prison over voting errors made by state officialsTravis Gettys February 03, 2022 Memphis woman was sentenced to six years and one day in prison for illegally registering to vote -- but the case is more complicated than it appears. Black Lives Matter activist Pamela Moses was convicted in November of registering to vote in 2019 while on probation for a 2015 conviction for perjury and tampering with evidence, which is one of a small number of felonies that cause the permanent loss of voting rights in Tennessee, but state officials knowingly conceded to a series of errors about her voting eligibility, reported The Guardian. They never mentioned anything about voting," Moses said about her guilty plea nearly seven years ago. "They never mentioned anything about not voting, being able to vote … none of that." Election officials should have removed her from the voter rolls, but the court never sent local officials the necessary documents, and Moses wasn't aware anything was wrong until she launched a long-shot mayoral campaign two years ago. That's when election officials notified Moses, whose defamation win over a county official was overturned last year on a technicality, that her name couldn't appear on the ballot because of her felony conviction, and they discovered she had never been removed from the voter rolls. She went to court and asked a judge to clarify whether she was still on probation, and the court confirmed that she was -- but Moses didn't believe the judge had correctly calculated her sentence. Moses went to the local probation office to get the matter sorted out, and an officer signed a certificate stating that her probation had ended, and she then submitted that to local election officials. Well you got to give them credit for originality even if is still a dumb reason…
From the article…
“Last year, the state passed a bill, SB-9, which, in an effort to create more affordable housing, requires cities to build more apartments and duplexes. The law, which was enacted on Jan. 1, expedites the process for building two-unit housing complexes in areas zoned for single family homes.
However, city leaders in Woodside say the entire town is habitat for mountain lions, and therefore they should be exempted from SB-9, as long as the animals remain candidates for the endangered species list. The position was outlined in a memo on Jan. 27 by the city's planning director, Jackie Young.”
&
”State Senator Scott Wiener, who authored the bill, profusely disagreed with the town's stance, calling it "a complete violation of the law."
"A mansion is okay for mountain lions but a duplex hurts mountain lions? It just makes no sense," Wiener, whose district includes San Francisco and portions of San Mateo County, told KCBS Radio.”

Ohio candidates for GQP US Senate seat.. former talked the forth one to withdraw.. Mandel, for instance, has claimed that there should be no separation between church and state, while Vance has made jokes about a tragic movie-set shooting and has also touted the support of conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). GETTR may be a goner! On Thursday, the conservative site Washington Examiner reported turmoil at GETTR, the right-wing alternative to Twitter founded last year by a controversial alum of former President Donald Trump's campaign. "Social media upstart GETTR fired over a dozen staff members late last year, including two key executives and its entire IT and cybersecurity teams, amid rapid growth and what former employees said were funding problems," reported Nihal Krishan. "The layoffs came even as interest in the company, founded by Jason Miller, a spokesman for former President Donald Trump, exploded. But three people who were canned say that behind the scenes, GETTR is struggling with more than just growing pains, warning that the recent round of layoffs may have jeopardized the platform’s security."*** One of these employees reportedly told the Examiner, "In all honesty, in all my years of doing cybersecurity, I’ve never seen a company this poorly run from business operations all the way to IT. It looks like a high school operation."www.rawstory.com/gettr-2656544750/

Cheney and Kinzinger are really growing on me. I never thought those 2 Republicans who voted with Trump 85-90% of the time would be the reasonable ones. The rest of the party has abandoned integrity and ethics in a desperate attempt to maintain power. This is a great quote from Cheney. She’s absolutely right. History will not be kind to the rest of the Republicans.
Cheney said: “Leaders of the Republican Party have made themselves willing hostages to a man who admits he tried to overturn a presidential election and suggests he would pardon Jan. 6 defendants…some of whom have been charged with seditious conspiracy. I’m a constitutional conservative and I do not recognize those in my party who have abandoned the Constitution to embrace Donald Trump. History will be their judge.”

Censuring someone for trying to get to the truth about what happened the day our Capital was attacked with the intent to overturn a legally certified election and the possible killing of the Vice President and Speaker of the House. It would appear the Republican Party has managed to sink even lower then the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

DeSantis and his people in Florida are 'claiming' that the Biden administration participating in a human trafficking immigrant children... Internal documents show heated back-and-forth between DeSantis and Biden admin over care of migrant childrenBy Priscilla Alvarez, CNN Updated 5:53 PM EST, Wed February 02, 2022 *** But in a letter sent to the Health and Human Services Department last week, obtained by CNN, Florida's general counsel, Ryan Newman, alleged the federal government was participating in a "human trafficking scheme." HHS, which is responsible for the care of migrant children, said DeSantis' threat to revoke state licenses from shelters that take these migrants raises "serious legal concerns" and threatened to take the matter to the Justice Department. *** The letter from Governor DeSantis was very harmful for staff to read," said Nathan Bult, senior vice president of public and government affairs at Bethany Christian Services. "To dedicate your life and your career to something you truly believed in and to be accused of being the final link in the chain of a human trafficking scheme, even though these staff know that that's not true, it's still really hard to hear."www.cnn.com/2022/02/02/politics/desantis-biden-border-migrant-children/index.htmlOf course there is a whole lot more to this mess. DeSantis is attempting to make points at the kids expense... To make him the good guy...
