Mine are currently in a dresser drawer. It’s a pain though as the drawer isn’t tall enough for them to stand, so they are in multiple piles and I basically have to pull them all out to thumb thru them.

I use an ArtBin Semi Satchel for 6x6 paper. All my paper pads have been disassembled and filed by ROYGBIV. The few that are a little taller than 6x6 fit when placed sideways. This system works great for me! www.amazon.com/dp/B076BDCWXC? |

I use the y weave medium half bin (sorry my phone isn’t letting me link!) from target. I can fit two pads side by side and then I can easily flip through my pads and see what I have.

I have a vintage wooden shelf that I can store mine in standing up and use handmade chipboard dividers to divide the stack by company.

I keep them with my 12x12 papers in my Iris containers.
So Christmas 6x8 is in my Christmas Iris container. Halloween 6x8 in my autumn/Halloween Iris container, etc.

I use a couple of small plastic bins similar to these. Not sure where I got mine, though. I do not have a ton of 6x6 or 6x8. They are not tightly packed, so I can flip easily. target link |

Mine fit perfectly in the bottom shelf of my Raskog cart. If I don't stop adding them to my shopping carts they'll start crowding the punches on the middle shelf.

I use several different containers: * this one ( Your Way Rectangle) from Thirty-One, although I have a different pattern/color * two fabric bins from Target that they apparently no longer sell - these ( link) are similar, but I can't find the exact ones I purchased several years ago on Target clearance * a double-wide version of the fabric bin I linked above from Target These hold all of my 6x6 pads. I don't have any 6x8s but I do have a second one of the Thirty-One rectangles (1st link) that holds my 8x8 pads & loose 8x8 CS/paper, stored side to side. All of my 6x6 pads are front to back (double row in the double-wide bin), so they're very easy to leaf through and see what I want. They're loosely sorted by theme...although TBH, they're MOSTLY stored by "when I purchased them", LOL.  |

I have some plastic bins that I found at the Dollar store. I reorganized them in the spring of 2020 and there just weren't many organizing bins left in stock around us. But these bins work very well. They are about 7" wide by 4" tall by 12" deep. I keep them on a shelf of a Billy Bookcase. I used to keep them on the shelf stacked like a book (with the spine out), but found that I just didn't do a good jjob keeping them organized. This way I can just pull out a bin and flip through to find the paper pad that I want. I do have a few 8x8" pads and those just sit in a stack next to my bins.

I have a bin from the dollar store. It's just over 6 in wide so the pads fit nicely. I have them standing up, so they are easy to flip through.

I store each pad in large stamp pocket in a fridge bin ( these from Amazon). The pocket keeps all scraps for that pad together. ETA - link is to show size, not what a fridge bin is. |

I store mine in the shoebox like organization boxes you can get at Hobby Lobby that are a little larger than 4X6. They stick past the lid so I just put the lid on the bottom of the box. I limit myself to what will fit in 1 box so it helps to keep my stash down. It's easy to flip through them stored this way so i use them more.

I have a set of the Target 13" cubes that are similar to the Ikea Kallax unit and they have a shelf in a couple of them so I have my 6x6 pads stored in the fabric cubes that fit on those shelves. The fabric cubes are right at 6.5" high and I can fit 2 pads side by side so I can flip through them.
I don't have any 6x8 pads so no help there!

I’ve ordered a couple different types of bins and will give them a try. Ideally I can put them into my Kallax, to make them easier to use. And…definitely taking away the idea of not buying more if my bin is full! The container concept  once it's full you have to decide if you like a new one enough to get rid of an existing one  (Dana K White, one of my decluttering mentors' fundamental principles). Standing up is definitely the way to go if you can make it work, whether you separate the pads into pages or keep them together. Being able to page through what I have is key to being able to find and use things without making a big mess. I store the scraps with the pad too. If it gets messy with lots of scraps I put it all in the quart ziplock to keep it all together. Some people cut the ziplock part off but I just fold it over. |

I take all paper pads apart.
Paper is stored in 13 x 13 plastic envelope.
Anything that is themed, goes into a themed 13 x 13 envelope.
Solid color paper is stored by color.
Patterned and multi-colored paper is stored by patterns (floral, stripes, polka dots, grunge, water color, brick and wood, plaid and checked, etc... as well as a few envelopes of miscellaneous.
