I am broken and relieved at the same time. I think my entire family felt that way after my grandmother passed... she had spent nearly a decade with ALS, unable to talk or even move very much for several of them. It is okay to be both those things. Please don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I am sorry for your loss, and glad you could be with him in his final hours. Hugs. |
