I didn’t know who this Wendy Rogers was so I went to check. She is a member of the AZ Legislature.
While I was there I found this gem.

I saw that the Russian news propaganda is showing footage of the streets of Kyiv looking normal, everything is fine. People are safe. Soldiers are surrendering peacefully. You know, there was a time when I would have thought, WTH, how do people fall for and believe shit like that?? But then I look at our own country and see how people have fallen hook line and sinker for some total bullshit stuff. If everything else is blocked. That's all you see, all you know. Some won't believe but those are too afraid to speak out because of what could happen.

It amazes me that thousands of Russians from all over the country, Russia, are protesting even with threats of arrest and actual arrests. They have found a way to get actual real information. Sorry if that sounds hash. It is not meant to be. Corrected wording. Meaning Russians in Russia protesting!

Agreed, and I knew that. I suppose the “Jerry Seinfeld makes good as a President” angle is more tritely clickbait appealing, than acknowledging he’s also pretty accomplished, in other ways.

Well at least we know world war 3 is on the table if he wins. 🥴🥴🥴🥴 I watched George Stephanopolis interview Tom Cotton this morning and George could not get him to make a statement about what Trump said. He kept saying that they were Trump's words and he doesn't speak for others - or something to that effect. At least three times he pressed him on it. Later on in the show George said to their panel that he could not understand why he wouldn't condemn those remarks. I have been extra thankful these last few days that Trump is no longer our president.

A good thing... SpaceX Starlink satellite internet service activated in Ukraine, says Elon MuskBy Emma Tucker and Melissa Alonso, CNN Updated 1:28 PM ET, Sun February 27, 2022 (CNN)SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk announced Saturday that the company's Starlink internet satellites are now active in Ukraine as the country suffers power outages due to Russia's invasion. "Starlink service is now active in Ukraine," Musk, the Tesla CEO, tweeted. "More terminals en route." Ukraine's vice prime minister asked Musk to provide internet service to the country amid Russian attacks, and Musk delivered, according to a Twitter exchange between the two on Saturday. Mykhailo Fedorov, who is also Ukraine's minister of digital transformation, tweeted to Musk: "while you try to colonize Mars -- Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space -- Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand." www.cnn.com/2022/02/27/business/starlink-activated-ukraine/index.html

That Stephanopoulos interview was a good one. We were watching MSNBC as well this morning and they were showing part of that video with Former and the slow blink of the news anchor (I don't remember his name, I apologize) was a site to behold.

This is my biggest fear. Most of us carry little to no cash these days. I’ve actually been making withdrawals to have cash on hand since the invasion started.

CNN...
At least 6000 protesters arrested in Russia.
Ukraine city Mykolaia on the Black Sea has been taken. Near Russian border. Fierce fight by Ukrainians! Population 100,000.
Kharkiv.. brutal fighting. Ukraine claims Russia of "War Crimes" they have been hitting large apartment buildings.
I think this is town that Ukrainians whiped out a portion of a Russian convoy. Russians surrendered. Russians are having difficulty getting supplies .. the soldiers did not know where they were sent or why....

DHL not going to Ukraine either... WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S.-based United Parcel Service Inc and FedEx Corp, two of the world's largest logistics companies, have said they are halting delivery service to Russia and Ukraine in light of the Russian invasion of its neighbor. Both inbound and outbound services have been suspended to Ukraine, as well as deliveries to destinations in Russia, the companies said in online statements seen on Sunday. Both Atlanta-based UPS and Memphis-headquartered FedEx had said on Feb. 24 that they were suspending services to Ukraine in light of the invasion. It was unclear if both firms continue to use Russian airspace as part of their general operations. Neither responded immediately to requests for comment. nordot.app/870758855925235712

I thought the name Oleg Deripaska sounded familiar. Small world. Has nothing to do with what is going on currently. But it’s interesting his name keeps popping up.
Besides the information below, he apparently is being investigated by the State of New York which prompted the FBI to do a search of his home in DC this past September.
From CNN
“Deripaska was sanctioned by the US back in 2018 in response to Russian interference in the 2016 election. The Treasury Department statement announcing the sanctions said he had been investigated for “money laundering, and has been accused of threatening lives of business rivals, illegally wiretapping a government official, and taking part in extortion and racketeering.” Earlier this year, Deripaska lost a lawsuit to have the sanctions lifted.
Deripaska’s name emerged in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation due to his longstanding ties to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Manafort had worked for Deripaska, representing him on “business and personal matters in countries where he had investments” and advancing the interests of his aluminum company Rusal.
Deripaska has rejected any link to Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election that Mueller investigated.
Deripaska once loaned him $10 million, according to court filings from Mueller’s investigation. Manafort was sentenced to more than 7 years in prison for bank and tax fraud and foreign lobbying-related crimes, but received a pardon last fall from President Donald Trump.”
