donna was a long time Pea who was taken from us long before her time. Her last scrapbooking effort had been to complete her kids' albums before time ran out. Many Peas, coordinated by jenjie and myboysnme, helped with that project. A Pea we have not heard from in a long while, kiwigirl, set up this challenge to keep Donna's memory alive.
So now we honour Donna's memory by getting our own photos onto scrapbook pages while WE have time to do that. Each month we set a challenge to get those photos glued onto pages. And we also have a theme.
So many themes I could choose for April... Easter is a time of family celebrations, but also a time of reflection and rebirth. In the northern hemisphere spring is arriving, bringing with it hopes of survival and growth and return of light. I know that the southern hemisphere is entering into fall, but also they are coming out of a couple of years of lockdowns.
April THEME: So I want to borrow a phrase that kmage thinks is weird: Step into the Sunlight! No need to interpret it literally, but think about scrapping the joy of returning to something like what you think of as "normal": a public sporting event, or a wedding. Document a recovery of some kind. Or something you hope for.
My apologies to Eddie-n-Harley for a theme that might be harder to use for the twelve card challenge, and for not chatting with you about this theme. For those of you who don't know, we have been trying to coordinate our themes this year. But if you have a theme that works better for your challenge, I am sure the card makers will thank you

.If you are scrapping as part of a team, and are earning points, take one point for every photo you scrap this month, no matter the subject. And take TEN points for scrapping something that represents stepping into the sunlight.
