Carta Belle Flower Market for this one - and a scalloped circle punch. The kid in the picture doesn't like the layout - too flowery and she didn't like the journalling. She's SO 15 sometimes. The kid in the photo may not be happy with this LO, but I love it! It's so pretty and I have to chuckle at her expression lol

Thanks joyfulnana - great sketches and prompts! I struggle with allocating time also- do I make cards or organise or scrap...there's always more to do than time to do it (and I say that as someone with more free time than most)

Thank you joyfulnana - I love that quirky smile of hers...and when we found older photos of my dad when cleaning out mum's house, turns out, he had a very similar smile at times. (Dad died when I was a teen). DD15 doesn't like flowers or pink or compliments...did I mention she's 15?

Linda she is 15 and I remember myself at 15, it wasn't pretty LOL! We've found similarities between DS1 and my dad going through old photos too. I always thought he looked like his dad's side, but nope, he looks quite a lot like my dad lol.

One of my favorite crafty items is the internet. With it I can shop for stuff I would never find locally, I can get inspiration, I can learn new things, I can be crafty entertained. I used to work with guy that used to say "God bless the internet!" I tend to agree. That wins the Internet today lol. I have to agree, online shopping for pretties is the BEST!

So much creativity here! Sorry I couldn't join the party today. Dd & family are here for THIS weekend instead of last. They were a huge help, and we got the potatoes and most of the vegetable seeds into the ground today. Then we watched not one but TWO hockey games on TV. Sad for the Maple Leafs, but GOOOO Oilers!!! So no playing with paper for me. Great prompts, joyfulnana. I have pasted them into the OP. Answering the questions from the three days: Day ONE: I am incredibly grateful every day for the companionship I feel from the Peas. It is rare to have a bunch of people who know me so well, and accept me for who I am. Day TWO: My favourite scrappy supplies are paper, ink and letter stickers. I love messy torn inked edges, and playing with different watercolour effects. Seems like almost every title can by created with one set of stickers--or multiple sets: love mixing and matching. Day THREE: I tend to scrap in binges. When I am scrapping, I think about it all day and sometimes even DREAM about it. I will start my day with scrapping, and then go on to other things, but I walk through my scrap room multiple times a day, so when everything is working for me, I can tweak a LO here, set one up there, diecut something for a card, and move on. When I am not in the zone, every tiny step requires me to overthink it, and often I will just walk away rather than feel that frustration.

Will you have time today? jeremysgirl - love that you documented that - I've never seen Friends but it's such a cultural icon, that it's still familiar to me. I'm glad it's bringng you some comfort.

Just dropping in for a quick minute. I hope to get back later today to leave some love, but wanted to say how happy I am to see you are scrapping, jeremysgirl. That Ali Edwards lift is GORGEOUS! And I love the Friends page. In February Scrap Happy site hosted a whole month of prompts based on that TV series. So many people have so many good memories around it. Okay. Back to real life!

Yay Linda for finishing 2020! I don't think I've finished an entire year of photos. I've come close a time or two. msliz sorry you are organizing photos - I hate that part, but it has to be done to get to the fun stuff doesn't it? jeremysgirl I LOVE your Friends page. I agree about it being a comforting show. I remember saying years ago, there is nothing an episode of Friends can't make better. Not entirely true, but it can help with lots! It's also one of the few things I will end up stopping whatever I'm doing and get sucked into if it's on lol. grammadee you were missed but I'll bet the time with family was better What's everyone working on today? I'm heading to the table to finish up three pages today, two just need journaling, but it's going to be journal strips so I keep putting it off. Finishing up the page I started at the crop last night is on the list too.

Another question for you all, if you put on a YT video do you actively watch it, or is it just background for crafting? As I explained upthread, I have a hard time deciding if I'm going to watch a video OR craft. If I a video on, it's usually something I interested in seeing, but then I could be scrapping during that time instead. What works for you?

Yay Linda for finishing 2020! Thank you - I usually bounce around but it's nice to finish a year What's everyone working on today? I'm working on some January 2022 photos Another question for you all, if you put on a YT video do you actively watch it, or is it just background for crafting? As I explained upthread, I have a hard time deciding if I'm going to watch a video OR craft. If I a video on, it's usually something I interested in seeing, but then I could be scrapping during that time instead. What works for you? I don't watch videos during crafting time - I'm not big on videos in general (I'm also not really a TV watcher - I think that's related) but when I do watch a crafty video, it's usually during my 'refupeas time' and I tend to watch on mute, doublespeed, and with captions

I have been busy with church and the house this weekend, but I’ve had some time to finish my 2019 December Daily type album. I’m using the Elizabeth Craft planner dies I bought back then. Once I get the last few pages done I’ll try to post pics.
Y’all are keeping pretty busy! Loving everything you’ve posted on here!

Slow start to my day today, just finished my coffee. I’ll be heading to my scraproom in a while, have to get dressed first. All the layouts are wonderful, love them. This is a talented group. If I get off my butt, I have time to scrap every day. I am done work at 2:10 pm and I work at home. So I have 3 hours to play. And weekends, it depends on what else is going on, but I pretty much scrap when I want. I am very good at ignoring housework. Hope everyone is having fun!

I think I may have misunderstood this event. i thought it was about the challenges/prompts. But I can see I could have done any design. I may get to another. I did not do any more last night, but here is what I have from yesterday. For the TWO prompt: (two butterflies) For the MOSTLY GREEN prompt: This is a card front only. I could not locate the stamp I want to use inside, so I have not attached it yet.

FurryP - yes you can do anything crafty you would like but the prompts are there if you (general) need a jumpstart or want extra points (there's bonus points for the prompts for those on teams) That butterfly card is so classy and beautiful - I love it! And the ?toucan? card is so bright and cheery - it's sure to brighten the recipient's day! The layout is so soft and pretty with those lovely florals and pastels! Great job on the sketch!

Thank you for the new sketches and the questions, joyfulnana. I have an idea for your single page sketch but probably not get to it until very late tonight or tomorrow. I have almost finished the page for Sat. sketch and should finish it before morning. Questions: I don't take classes and don't watch a lot of YouTube videos. I think I have a short attention span and they have to really keep moving to hold my interest, mainly because I think I'm taking up my "scrapping time". I have taken a few classes over the years, but never seem to feel that the time was worth what I had to give up. jeremysgirl, nice to see you scrapping. Your page is beautiful. I will catch up on comments tomorrow. It's fun to see lots of new projects appearing on this thread. Thanks to all who have helped to make this a fun PEA WEEKEND.

Bummed that I won’t even make it into my scrap room this weekend. I’ve been dealing with really bad allergies all week which means none of my work stuff got done so here I am at the eleventh hour trying to finish it up. On the bright side, Friday pretty much starts summer vacation so a lot more happy scrappy time for me! I’ve been reading this thread though and all the creations are wonderful!

I finished off the day 1 prompts here, using one of the sketches as my jumping off spot, although adding the diagonal background really changes the feel. I also was doing the "orange" assignment for the Shimelle rainbow class, and she did the diagonal background, so that's where that came from! I also squeezed in today's prompts by using a really special photo to me, and digging into my new 49th and market "Spectrum Sherbet" for the first time! layout orchestr8 by kirstendrew, on Flickr So I have 4 more challenges to accomplish: 2 more sketches, and the day 2 prompts. I'm pretty sure I can't get 2 sketches done in 1 evening. Wah, I really wanted maximum double bonus points! Todays question: If you are taking a class, or learning a new technique, how do you split that time with time to actually scrap? I tend to watch videos when I go to bed. Yes, I fall asleep. Yes, I have to re-watch a lot. But I can't sacrifice scrappy time to watch a class/video. If it's a video I can watch WHILE I scrap, I will do that. But again, I miss a lot that way.

MDscrapaholic - that looks awesome! I too would find the pages a bit small but they certainly LOOK great! and very cohesive! well done getting it finished! kitbop - love the colours and that diagonal background - and wow you sure packed lots of prompts into one layout - well done! Good luck finishing up the other sketches
